My suggestions would end up being Combat Oriented, so since I don't know the stance on Combat Based RP, I'm afraid I don't have much I could suggest.Well seems we have decided on eternal masquerade but combat oriented is mostly for intermediate roleplayers and above and the advertisement roleplay is supposed to be for anyone so it wouldn't have happened anyways. However you are always welcome to create your own roleplay and advertise the ball in it ^^
I advertise the ball as an official affiliate with all four of my RP guilds xDI did make an affiliate thread. If you post there, we can advertise you back.

I DELETED THE THREAD. WHY DOES THIS HAPPEN?!
Anyways, the ballroom was supposed to be for classic lit, so the characters are from classic lit. But that's easily changed, unless we want to keep Prince Prospero as a sort of bridge into the next.
There was going to be a bar, a dancefloor, and some pretty awesome games and competitions. It was going to take place in an old nightclub to give it a more modern feel.
So really, I've only got the setting that would be applicable.

Mademoiselle Alvinette I'll do whatever. yum_puddi If we do an eternal masquerade, I can be Giselle LeVert (my goblin sorceress from last year's ball) again. whee But...one teeeeny little request about last year's RP: if you have unresolved storylines involving my character, can we please finish them, or at least can you tell me what to do with them? Because I'm playing her in another thread now, so...yeah. I'm OCD and loose ends bug the puddin' out of me. sweatdrop (Gosh, I feel so silly for asking this. But...OCD. sweatdrop ) I know everybody's probably bored to death with that thread, but I dunno. Resolved storylines would brighten my day! emotion_kirakira And there's still at least one guest who posts regularly and has an ongoing story arc. Feels like maybe this is hinted a bit my way. And I am so sorry I left things hanging dead with lots of that. ; n ; I had always intended to come back...maybe I can actually finish a story for once. If you knew me in real life I suffer from this all the time. I give people "cliffhanger-itis" I never have wrote an END to anything.

I would very much like to participate once more in this. This time I promise to only play ONE major character. Last time some of the more NPC characters kind of took on a life of there own and I never was able to conclude those little side story arcs I had made.
Poor Alvy, Myst, and the others.

Not really my thing ^^ Its an interesting idea...but maybe we could spice it up even more with unique characters? Not sure what else we might do though...unless its something like what has been suggested as possible ideas for the AURB ball itself...or maybe expand on an old monthly event. I'd be alright with anything, really. -shrugs- Not too picky. I understand needing to kind of get the ball rolling especially to order graphics and what not...but I feel kind of iffy what with so many good suggestions already given for the main AURB deal...you know? Maybe we should start smaller in scale. Like location? Example: Would we want a castle? Sure. Castles have lots of rooms and what not. What generally goes on at castles? Who resides in them? Knights, Royalty, Dragons. What's the problem? The guests are a mixture of rogues and bandits set to steal the crown jewels! More or less is like plotting in reverse....or just have other people say what kind of character they'd rather play? We could build a plot/story from that. Just some brainstorming ideas.

This was supposed to be an official room last year, but I dropped out in April-May-ish because I knew I had orientation during the week. I deleted everything because Robayn and I decided to convert the ballroom planning subforum into the floating lounge so I could get more work done with the floating hosts without repeating myself over and over again. I don't mind making it. And I knew things were going to need to be overhauled anyways, since everything I had suited the plot of the 11th.
