"You people? Now that was rather uncalled for. Who is 'you people' supposed to be, anyway?" He was slowly becoming finished with this woman, and he slid back in his chair, balling his hand into a fist and leaning his face against it on the armchair.
"I wouldn't CARE about a war or anything like that if I hadn't been bothered by a stupid cat in the first place. Do you know WHY they did what they? Youmas, and not just any youma, no no no, TINY little things. No bigger than mushroom. " His arms came out to show the size he was thinking about, giving emphasis to his little rant. "They were matching along in the middle of the woods, without seemingly a care in the world. Did I know what they were, no, not at all. I would have just let them be, but then a CAT comes along and goes 'magical boy powers! Go transform and what not!' And shows me how, then vanishes as quickly as it can. I could have squished those little things with my feet. None of this could have even been real for me, and I could have simply been at peace living blindly like the HUMAN I am. I don't have a question for a cat, simply a foot ready to punt the one who showed me this in the first place."
"Does there even need to be a reason why? Can you explain emotions, or the primordial urge to want to continue living? Can you explain what happens after death, or how supposedly re-incarnated souls can travel across the galaxy? Maybe some things are just not meant to be known, but good luck in trying to figure that out."

Zia rest her chin in her hand and watched with raised interest at his rage. Her shoulders raised and slowly dropped with a slow sigh as she realized the poke a similar wound as she did with Tara, and somehow she doubted a few pet names and presents would fix the transgression with a total stranger.
"Oh, precious, I didn't mean it as an insult. This is your planet and your universe, right? And you and your people live here. You are all just humans on this instance of Earth."
She arched her back and rolled her shoulders and went back to rearranging her papers. "Emotions? No. The need to survive? Vaguely. Death? Absolutely. Reincarnation? Without any doubts."
She held up a partially translate Alfheimr letter, eyes bright with the passion she had for her venture in learning. "It matters because to me, culture matters. Art and hope and life that keeps on continuing into something beautiful, and the stories left behind. And this is not even my home. I can only imagine if I had one... I am always fascinated with what I can't have, and that include the pasts and futures of senshi."

Precious? Maybe that would seem less irritating if he had not already been upset with the woman already, but to his ears, it sounded like she was just being sarcastic. It was getting to the point where he just didn't want to be near her anymore, she seemed more insane than he would have liked to think anybody in his house could be. And yet, with her, and her dictionary or guide of sorts, an opportunity had presented itself.
"Well.. I am looking for a teacher to help with the whole lexicon thing. Maybe I could help you, and learn a bit more about what needs to go into something like that." Past, futures, ups, downs, lefts, rights, there was not too much that he cared about any of this. But.. if he could help himself while helping her.. It would all work out.

Zia's brow knitted in concern and her head lulled to the side ever so slightly. "Why, baby? Did you want to know? You seem upset."
But she had a one track mind when it came to things she actually wanted to talk about. "You think you could help?" She chirped, perking right back up. "I think I'm close to figuring out the point of these letters I found under a false panel in Alfhem but I'm not sure, and I'm sure the knight they bleong to will want them back soon so I'm on a bit of a time limit. I have noticed these characters match but they are not Aquarian. Or maybe they are, and are just borrowed loan words, I'm not sure. Have you ever seen any writing on senshi worlds?"
She pulled out another paper, looking ready to bounce out of her seat with excitement. "This is the most translated one I've found but it doesn't make much sense. There's a lot about 'sweet water', I'm not sure if that's code or symbology." It was actually a poem, but Zia was not very good at deciphering more artistic aspects of things.
"Oh, wait," She did manage to pull herself out of her self centered glee to realize maybe he didn't mean help by becoming a soundboard. "I'm sorry, did you have something in mind when you said you could help?"
She grabbed her tablet and held it as she sighed and flopped against the back of the chair she was in wistfully. "I get a little over excited, there's just so much to see and I don't think I will ever get to it all before I die. Have you ever been to Jupiter? Do you think it's always storming that way?" Babble babble.

"Wait, wait wait, those letters don't belong to you? Isn't that stealing? Pfft, then again, who honestly maintains interstellar laws? It's not like this world is as simple as some Star Command cartoon." The more she shoved things towards her, the more of a confused look he gave to the woman, and even if he wanted to be irritated at her still, the enthusiasm she had was much more entertaining than her original bored expression.
"Well.. Sweet water.. I think of something like.. Juice or nectar or something. More along the ways of purple prose than anything else. You know, they made it sound prettier than it needed to be. But yeah, I meant, maybe i could gather more information. I'm not quite a repository of information, but I think it would be easier for me to talk to others, and see what they know. Powered up, I'm not all that intimidated. And maybe the idea of an folio of information might even be appreciated." He had not even been to his own world yet, how was he to know about any others!

"I did not steal them, it's... complicated," Zia answered with a bit of a flouncy handwave. "They were on my brother's knight wonder. And knighthood is kind of a... it's a bloodline issue, so really, I have just as much right to study family papers as he does."
She heaved a dramatic sigh, though. "Purple prose and flowery symbology makes this entire thing much more difficult. Plus, the Silver Millennium was so long ago there has probably been a lot of significant morphology without a time line to date the parchment to."
She pulled a blank scrap of notebook paper and started quickly scribbling down common symbols found in her notebook.
"These seem to be common characters used in lines from two languages I've cross referenced. They aren't that similar, but I am pretty sure that they can be translated. You could try interviewing other senshi and seeing if they ring any bells! Or even unrelated samples of writing would be a huge boon."
Recalling his earlier statement she paused. "Ah... oh, it's important to note only uncorrupted senshi and knights can travel to different planets and homeworlds, though earth knights can teleport across this planet to their wonders on Earth, which I imagine is very convenient. Negaverse agents can teleport, but not to their wonders, sadly. The Chaos disconnects them from their wonders and I imagine for the negasenshi as well what with the uh," There was a grimace and a gesture over her chest where the starseed usually was. "Holes, and all, rotted in them." Which hopefully clarified the gesture's intention, since Zia had no holes, just the crescent moon scar from her branding.
After an awkward pause, she perked right back up. "So white bodiced senshi are your best bet for wide range."

Throughout her ramblings, Avior's mind drifted back to the thoughts of his own planet. Maybe once there, he could find more information about his own language, about how they communicated. Maybe words weren't even used, but he sincerely doubted that. Hehe, who knows, maybe they just used hieroglyphs to communicate.
The sounds of footsteps approaching from the other side of the hall alerted the boy, and he slid to the edge of his seat, drawing closer again to the woman. Perhaps they had been gone from the party too long..
"Maybe we should have another meeting to talk about such things. I feel like.. This probably isn't the best place to be talking, not when there are others around here who might have not-so-proper intentions when it comes those who are powered. If you leave me with a way to contact you or something, then when I gather more information about other worlds, I could let you know."
Carneli Since the next time they meet, Avior will have visited his planet, he could TOTALLY tell her about the glyphs he found, and how his planet was destroyed by other 'white moon' senshi!'. It would definitely be an interesting entry to her lexicon!

"Ugh, right, party," Zia said with a dramatic eyeroll. She started sliding her papers back into their tidy little folder. "Daddy's probably wondering if I've blown this popstand of not. But here," She gave him the note paper, along with a business card that had the office number scratched out, but still had two legible contact numbers and a name.
"I'm Zia, Robert Connolly's daughter. I'm pretty easy to get in touch with."
She glanced at her phone and instantly cringed at a alerts to several missed texts asking where she was and stuffed her files back in her bag before she ran off.Cooro Cooro Maybe. :> Details of that might need further discussion, though.

"I won't pretend that I know who that is, but thank you. I'll be sure I get in contact with you soon. I'm Isha Chaudhary. Not the same name as the host of this party, but you know. Still kinda live here. It was nice to meet you." He took the number from her hand, and pocketed it, before looking the paper once more.
"This has been interesting, thank you for talking to me." Isha called after her, standing there a moment longer. Yeah.. He wasn't going back to this party, nope. Instead, he snuck up stairs, to hide in his bedroom and tuck away the little information he received. He could be yelled at later.
Carneli Okity Dokity! Thanks for playing with me! It's been awesome!
