Since he wasn't being addressed any further, Shun just focused on the dragon mostly. He watched its movements carefully. As it made a swipe, he deftly rolled out of the way before slashing the creature's claws with the scythe. Mimsy got a quick thumbs up before she turned away and then he was about to say something to Shun or Efflo but he didn't remember anymore because suddenly he was being sliced up by a large claw.
The pain was a bit like having a searing hot knife suddenly slicing into him.

Shun was going to strike once more, but the creature caught him in mid-swing, knocking him clear off his feet and several feet away. "Kuso..." he hissed as he slowly pushed himself back up. He still didn't entirely know where that word came from. It just came out of his mouth. The names finally stopped when everyone began to focus more on the task at hand, and Efflo was grateful. It was hard to focus when he constantly had to defend himself against verbal distractions. With peace and quiet, focusing wasn't very difficult at all. Freya was really starting to get the hang of this weapon! She didn't know if it was because it was feathered, or if she'd used a weapon like this before, but she felt she could definitely fight in a battle to the death with other people using this weapon. Kettil sent an attack at the beast, he took a few seconds to point his weapon toward Efflo - the next moment Efflo got hit the damage somehow transferred it's way to Kettil. WEIRD.
