Sammy was grinning easily as she looked at West. He knew her name. It was good, it was good to know someone in all of this again. She turned back to the mimic her easy grin fadding as the mimic suddenly grew a hand and legs

Two down. This thing was not going to knock them all out if he had anything to say about it. If there was one thing he had learned through all those memories he'd experienced in the shrine (besides the fact that he might be... in love with an owl?), it was that he loved to fight. The guns had taken some getting used to after he'd been reborn, but everything seemed to be working out now. West shot at the thing some more, frowning as he noticed how exhausted he was getting.
