"Boys." Marzena muttered viciously as Cadence laughed by her side. Her anger was channelled into her weapon, and she struck the creature hard.

"Let's just focus on the battle at hand, shall we?" Erebus said nervously, gripping his weapon tightly, and glancing in his comrades' directions, especially at Edward and Sirius.

She was good at ignoring them and transferring her fury into her attacks. With one last hit, the armored monster fell, a javelin dropping from a hand.

Erebus grinned as the shadows began to do a victory cheer, pocketing the items that fell from the enemy as well.
"We should carry the heroes of the battle upon our shoulders!" Edward exclaimed, pumping his fists in the air.
"Let's... just focus on the task at hand." Erebus said quickly, before Marzena attempted to kill the shadow creature.

And there it was. The grail.
...Or instead, many of them.
"How do we know which is the real one?" She whispered, squinting at the grails upon the shelves. Behind her, the shadows murmured, and she turned to throw them an annoyed look. Sirius only grinned, Edward waved, Cadence smiled and motioned for her to just ignore them, while Richard shrugged. Marzena rolled her eyes and resumed examining the cups.
"But be warned," They cautioned, "For should you choose wrong your true self will be lost to you, and you will live a lie. Go forth with a strong heart with the shades of my dearest Companions. They will lead you to your heart's desire."
She grasped a simple medium-sized goblet, plated with silver and dipped it into the fountain. "Here goes nothing." She whispered, and raised it to her lips.
Smooth liquid glided down her throat and she felt herself shudder involuntarily.
"You alright?" A concerned voice sounded behind her and she stared at the boy with dog ears and a tail.
...Wow, the props department was good. How did they manage to make it look so soft and real? She-- that was, Sylvia Summers, professional actress-- straightened herself and nodded. That's right. She was in character now. Grumpy teenage selkie girl Marzena, played by her, Sylvia Summers. "I'm fine." She said, pitching her voice just right so it sounded disinterested enough.
Sylvia moved away from the fountain, eyes darting around carefully. Where were the cameras, anyway? No one had told her this was a hidden camera show!
"I need coffee." She thought, suppressing a sigh. No. She was still working. She had to stay professional.

Erebus watched warily as Marzena chose a grail and drank from the fountain. A voice whispered inside his head, reminding him that if he chose wrongly, he would live a lie.
Did that mean that he would forget again? He moved towards her concernedly but she waved him off. Something seemed odd, and he eyed her choice warily before moving to the shelves.
Erebus selected a small, gold colored goblet with three different colored jewels on it. Hopefully, this was the right one. "Fare thee well, Erebus!" Edward called out and he gave the shadow a shaky grin, plunging the grail into the fountain.
He raised the grail to them before lifting it to his lips and drank.
It was wonderfully fizzy. It was different and magical and oh! He was a magical boy with puppy powers, here to rid the world of all that was evil and bad! His costume; a sailor suit with pants seemed a little darker than usual, but that was no matter, was it? All that mattered was that being brave of heart would overcome any obstacles indeed!
