Tahigwa darted to the side as Tayyib's blade came towards her, the sheer force of his attack causing her eyes to widen. OOOOH, he was STRONG! She liked HIM! She smirked and whirled back towards him, using both blades to slash at his side.

Tayyib enjoyed the surprise in the girl's eyes, as well as the smirk taht followed, but he remembered only now why he didn't usually like to put so much power into a single strike. It kept him too far off balance to tailor his aim to his opponent's movemets, and it left him unable to dodge effectively when the inevitable retaliation arrived.
He clenched his teeth as Tahigwa's dual blades caught him in the side. At least he could counter.

He swung his sword in a neat arc, a far cry from the previous attack. Bah. Too cautious this time around, he thought to himself. He'd just have to do better next time.

The harsh counter attack came fast, too fast for Tayyib to evade altogether. Still, stepping aside did help mitigate a portion of the damage. He couldn't let the stinging wounds on his body get to him.

Tahigwa swung out of the way of his blade again and swooped back in again for her counter. Her first blade hit harder than the first and she pouted slightly. Her mother would need to teach her how to properly distribute force.

As they settled into the rhythm of the fight, Tahigwa seemed to be getting better at forecasting his moves, while Tayyib found himself doing decidedly worse at dodging. He was probably getting too predictable, he thought ruefully. Time to shake things up, maybe?

Tayyib decided he'd worry about changing things up later, if he still had a later. (She had the advantage over him, if he was reading the situation correctly.) His next move was simple -- a strong slash at her nearer arm.

Tahigwa couldn't dodge his attack to her arm and let out a whine as his blade sliced her. However, her counter strike had just enough fuel behind it, and she swung back with both of her blades. She wasn't finished yet!

Tayyib wasn't sticking around for the dual blades to get him this time. Watching the trajectory of the two swords, he danced to the side, letting them pass him by completely. Then he swept in, following up his dodge with a quick slash at her side in retaliation.

TAHIGWA FORFEITS!
Tahigwa stumbled to the side as Tayyib's blade slashed her and fell to the ground. Augh! That hurt like hell! She forced herself to her feet and smiled, rather falsely, towards Tayyib. She wasn't going to let him see her disappointment. Nope, she was going to walk out of there with dignity! Slowly she turned, bowed her head, and wandered towards the exits.
In all honesty, she wanted her big brother, and she would interrupt his battle for snuggles if she had to.
