Asclepius packaged up her first-aid supplies, snapping the latches on the plastic box shut and returning it to her small backpack. Then she pushed herself up to her feet, taking her time and trying not to bend her knees more than she had to. Her expression was one of calm but focused effort: for Evie's sake, she would not let a hint of pain show.
"I'll be fine." The brown-haired girl smiled slightly, for show. "Will you be alright?"

One of Evie's hands raised in a half abandoned motion and just sort of froze there, useless and unmoving and helpless in her lack of knowledge. She didn't know what she was doing, and she didn't know what to do for Asclepius, in spite of the crushing guilt and feeling of obligation.
Self imposed obligation was just the worst.
She didn't answer the question, she just turned and left as quickly as possible. She needed to be elsewhere, as soon as possible.
"I'm sorry," She apologized quietly as she fled the scene, to absolutely no one in earshot.
