Shirina tilted her head at that, frowning. "Why would you need to hear old legends? And no, you don't need to pay me. In all honesty I don't know the legends myself, but I know just who to ask!" Jumping to her feet, she held her hand out to him, smiling. "C'mon, he lives this way!"

He smiled and took her hand and pulled himself out of the seat. "Lead on Rina." She would have found his hand a little colder then what any ones hand should be on such a warm day. "Who are you taking me to see?"

Shirina tilted her head at his cool touch, before raising her eyes to his and grinning. "Someone who can help you with this cold you've apparently got, too." She lifted his cold hand as explanation for her statement. "The town witch doctor!" She laughed, and dragged him towards the edge of town, pulling him into a building tucked away between two much larger buildings. "Madame Sharron!" Dragging Dante behind her, she pulled him into a large room, for the size of the house, where an old lady sat rocking. "This is Dante, and he wants to hear the old legend."
((You should play her, so she can say whatever it is he's looking to hear))

The old woman looks up from an old looking book and smiles as Rina comes in though her smile fades a little as she spots Dante. "Ah Ribbon Rina. Always a pleasure...however you know I do not like company I do not know."
Dante bowed lightly "Im sorry to intrude upon you like this however If you know anything about what Im looking for I would appreciate your time to tell me about it."
"And just what are you looking for young man?" she said crisply
"Anything on the story of the Crown of ages and the Book of souls"
The old woman looked him over a few times "That is an old story...older then some people care to remember" She got up off her chair and headed to the book shelf behind her. "Rina my dear how did you happen across this man?"

Shirina gave a sheepish grin. "I'm sorry, I got overly excited at being able to help." She glanced over at him when he spoke of the crown of ages and the book of souls, frowning, as she'd never heard of them before. "Huh?" She flushed. "Oh. Um. I stole his book from him. But I gave it back!" It had partially been this old womans guidance who led her away from stealing, so she always felt bad when she slipped up, and fell off the wagon.

Madame Sharron looked back from her book case and held an old black book in her hand " At least she gave it back." She said with a wagging finger. She sat down again and opened the book caressing the pages gently "This is an old story...the ink has faded in many of the pages. Though I remember most of it."
"My masters told me of this story. They told me that there may be some truth to it."
"Truth? Hmm I doubt it. Though if it were true the items here could be put to good use. Their are dark forces at work in the world now." She flipped a few pages "The Crown of ages...a tool used by mages to focus their powers to near godlike strength....I believe it was hidden away." She flipped a few more pages "The book of souls...not much on this one but It was said that it was a list of all the great warriors of an age past."

Shirina tilted her head. "Mages? Warriors?" She glanced down at her ribbons, and laughed. "Nothing I could use then." She glnaced over at Dante. "Are you gonna be in trouble with your masters if you don't find them?" Shirina had heard that masters were demanding people, no matter what they were masters of. She'd been living free on the street so long she didn't really comprehend true authority.

"Perhaps it doesn't interest you my dear but they are important parts of this lands story. It is said thousands of years ago another darkness besieged our world. A group of mages created the crown to give them a fighting chance. The warriors bought time for the crown to be forged. After the battles were over they hid the crown with the book of the fallen warriors so that one day they may come down from the heavens to aid us once again." The old woman waved her hands as she spoke and turning a few pages in her book.
"Yes. That's the one. Defiantly." Dante said almost excited. "My masters have indeed sent me to find these items. I can't retune home until I collect them both. I hope to find a few people who can help me here in town"

Shirina shrugged and listened to the story, wondering what the great evil was. She always wanted to know about the parts of the story that were left out. Listening as Dante talked of not being able to return home, Shirina wondered what that was llike- having a home. To her, her home was the paths she took from town to town. "What kind of help do you need?"

"I don't know really. I know I need someone who can handle themselves in at least a scuffle." He looked her up and down for a moment handing the book back to the old woman "Perhaps someone who is light on their feet and even quicker with their hands"
"You put that thought out of your head right this instant young man. Rina is not ment for such a dangerous task."

Shirina laughed when he mentioned a scuffle, thinking of all the times she'd gotten caught stealing and only her dagger had gotten her out of it. "Scuffles are easy." When he looked her up and down, she only tilted her head, used to people looking at her because of her dancing, but wondering why he was doing it when she wasn't moving. Hearing the next two statements though, she burst to her feet. "Me?" She tilted her head the other way, admittedly intrigued, "But I'm just a dancer. With daggers, but a dancer. How would I be helpful?" Being helpful interested her. She was so useless, just dancing for the momentary entertainment for strangers, never doing anything lasting or meaningful. Maybe if she helped someone, did something important, she'd feel better about herself.

"Look you wouldn't need to do much. There are just certain things I lack the grace to do. It wouldn't be that bad and who knows maybe theres some really good stuff hiding out in those old ruins."
"I told you young man she isn't made for this. You will leave this thought out of your head and hers"
"I think the option is left in her hands miss. Rina I believe you could very well help me gather the Crown of ages and Book of souls from their crypts with the same grace and speed you show in your dance. I wouldn't let any harm come to you and you can lay claim to anything else we may find."

Shirina tilted her head, and glanced at the old woman. "Why do you think I'm not made for this? I am graceful." She heard him comment about laying claim to anything else, and smiled almost wryly. "Here I thought all the tales said grabbing anything but the most important item from the crypt was prone to making it all fall down around you."

"Hehe" he chuckled "Those are just meant to keep those fools who believe those stories out of danger but there is very little chance of that for us" He continued ignoring the old woman who was standing now her cane in hand
"Rina don't you listen to him he is just trying to get you in trouble."
"Think about it. There could be gold and jewels enough in those ruins to make sure you never need to dance for coin again."

Shirina glanced at Madame Sharron in shock when she stood up, bracing her hand at the woman's elbow, ready to help her were she to sway. "Get me into trouble? How, if we're just looking for some old artifacts that might not even exist?" She glanced over at him when he commented, frowning softly. "I like dancing for coin, living from day to day. But I like helping people, and feeling useful too. If I do help you, I'll probably only grab a pretty bauble for my hair or something." Shirina wasn't a greedy sort, despite her apparently accidental thieving habits. She was fine living from day to day on whatever money she had in her pocket- and she shared liberally with those who had nothing, because she'd been there. She lived every day like it might be her last, and often went to be and woke with no money to her name.
