He was having trouble finding an opening now, too. Nush began to move in to attack, but the creature got him first. He took a glance at the winged one, shaking his head. He didn't offer any further information, however. She didn't ask the proper question. Fayre felt dazed at the brightness of that smile. It almost made her want to smile - almost. "I'm Fayre." She said up at the smile, more than the boy who wielded it like the strongest of weapons. It certainly managed to pierce her. Then she stamped her foot and balled her hands into fists. "I need more thingies then. But I.. to get them.." She glared at the little creature with a mixture of regret and determination, before swiping at it - and missing completely. "Well I give up." It was time to go home now. Right? She saw that shake of the head, and turned just enough to give the guy with two weapons a glare. Tiletk filed the name for later. He was watching as she reacted, stomping her feet, her fists balling up. It amused him and he just shook his head, "Don't be so stompy! I'll help you get them, everyone will help you!"
Everyone's been conscripted to help his new friend, okay other friends. Good, he's glad you all agree with him.
Then he stabbed the beast and let it flop over in a pile.

Yay! Spoils! Stew strolled up to the giant dead thing and stuck his hand in it, digging around for his rewards. "Yeah, sure. Everyone can help." He glanced at the quiet guy and Marati, smirking faintly. x2

It wasn't hard to feel reassured by the friendly man's promise. Fayre tried to give him a smile, but it ended up being more of a messy half lifted smirk instead. So she tried an alternate method of expressing her agreement - that thumbs up gesture she'd seen the girl do earlier. She felt stupid doing it, and that just made her awkward smile even awkwarder. And then loot fell like candy out of a pinata, and Fayre's eyes lit up happily. She scooped up two pieces and held them close to her body, making sure to give each of the boys who's helped kill the thing a little headbow - after all, she'd definitely needed all of their help. "Thank you." She murmured softly to all of them.

"It's no big deal," he said happily at her as he picked up his own loot. He stood there for a moment or two.
...Maybe he'd follow her around. Maybe.
...He certainly wasn't going to say that out loud.
"Good battle everyone." He announced instead.

"Well I-" She considered answering Nush. Considered it. Then she pursed her lips and just nodded at him, because of course she was going to build her own.
Of course.
She'd said what she needed to say. So she turned and left with her loot. But when she turned back for a moment, she might have noticed she'd collected more than just loot.
She just turned back around and kept walking. But out loud, she might have been saying something about definitely needing that help she was promised..

Tiletk snorted a bit at Nush's helpful advice and glanced at Stew, "You two should be friends, too."
He was all for friends within friends. Friendception.
As Fayre left he sort of stood there a little awkwardly a moment before he slunk off as well. He wanted to protect her she seemed so vulnerable right now.
Somehow she had triggered his protective watchful side.

The yellow-hearted greyling managed a smile at the two she didn't recognize, but was more or less quiet as she stooped to grab some loot just before leaving.
