Keilana post 5
Having been moved to the floor , she was currently trying not to bite her tongue, the pain when it came was rather intense and uncomfortable, Takoda repeated over and over that it was important that she breath and not hold her breath. Part of her wanted to claw his face off but the best she could do was grip his arm so hard that it was sure to leave bruises.
Most of Keilana was still in a very worried state. The baby was too early! Why was she going into labour now? Would the baby be okay if she delivered it now? SHE WAS SUPPOSE TO HAVE MORE TIME DAMMIT. Perhaps that was the biggest thing, she had anticipated having more time to get use to the idea of having a child, more time to practice her breathing exercises.
It wasn't until her brother came back and handed the healer the blankets that she realized he was in a heated discussion with someone. Looking over she spotted Chalcedony, he looked angry and so did her brother, if she could she would of liked to slam their heads together and tell them both to get over each other.
"IF you two don't stop it I will p..ersonall kill you booooooooth!" She shouted her final word being stretched out as the contractions began again. Okay so this was not exactly the best way for both Takoda and her brother to discover the man who was the father of her child, but she didn't exactly care right this moment.

Takoda Post 4
Trying to remain calm as it did no good if he appeared panicky in front of those he was trying to help he couldn't help but grimace every time a contraction hit the poor girl as it was his arm she currently had ahold of. There would be quite the bruise when this was all over. As blankets were handed off to him he didn't get a chance to thank Jacinthus as suddenly Chalcedony was on the scene.
His eyes widening at his comment about being the father of the child that was due to be born in several hours. The shifter couldn't help but look to both Keilana and then Chalcedony, a very confused and blank expression on his face, it slowly hardened to the face of a healer, as he couldn't let personal feelings get in the way of what needed to be done.
And as Keilana spoke and the contracted began to take ahold of her again he calmly pried her gripping hand off his arm.
"I have to agree with Keilana, right now what is important is making sure the baby is delivered safely with little risk to it and the mother. " Takoda wasn't going to worry about what and ifs and who's right now, Keilana was his immediate focus and so should Jacinthus, and Chalcedony.
"Chalcedony, I need you here ..now. I need you to keep her calm and remind her to keep breathing. Jacinthus, don't give me that look I need you to remain calm and not let your personal emotions make this situation worse. We need a calm, level headed person and I need that to be YOU. I need more things, the closer the baby is to crowning I will not be able to use my magic so I need buckets of water. Got it?"

Jacinthus Post 6
Jacinthus gave a little wince when his sister shouted at them to stop of she would kill them both. Damn it but he didn't want 'that guy' here... but it seemed as though there was no longer a choice, was there? It seemed as though this pain in the a** was the father of Keilana's baby, which was something that he would deal with later. There was nothing about this situation that sat well with him. It all just felt... wrong. Why did this guy, who had been so head over heels for Takoda, suddenly go after Kei? Was this some strange form of revenge? He had no idea but he would beat him for it later. Right now, while Keilana and Takoda were around, it was best that he play nice even though it was the polar opposite of what he was wanting to do at the moment. Putting on his best smile, one that didn't' quite reach his eyes, he said, "Alright, alright... truce for the moment." He told his sister, not wanting her to murder the two of them when she should concentrating on her breath. No reason why he couldn't murder the Shifter later.
Stepping in closer to him he murmured, "This is far from over, Shifter. Once this is all said and done we will have words." He told him in a hushed tone before stepping back, looking over toward Takoda, "Buckets of water? Sure, I will go and grab those now." He said, patting him on the shoulder as he hurried off to go and fetch the water. There were places in the village where water was more plentiful, it was the reason why their villages were build where they were, and he would see about getting the necessary water so that Takoda would be able to better serve his sister and make sure that everything went well for her.

Chalcedony Post 3
Chalcedony looked to Keilana as she threatened them with death, something that caused him to smile just a bit since he couldn't help but to be amused. She was in such a state and yet still so strong, he couldn't help but to be impressed by her, "Well it's kind of you to take time out of your labor to kill us but maybe later." He said, reaching out to take her hands into his, saving Takoda from the Leaf Tribeswoman's death grip. Best that he was free and able to assist her then having to stand still while she held onto him in that punishing grip of hers, "There we go, how about you hold onto me?"
As Jacinthus came in closer to murmur something to him he gave a little nod of his head, "I am well aware." He doubted that the 'words' that the man was going to have with him would be only words but he supposed they would see soon enough. He didn't want to say anything else, not wanting to take any attention away from the one that needed it most even though he was sure things between himself and the archer, things that were already bad, were going to get all that much worse now. He would need to ask Keilana about it later, what happened, why she didn't tell Jacin. He would guess it likely had something to do with how much Jacin and Chal hated one another... all due to the pretty Healer that was currently giving out orders.
Turning to look over at said Healer he gave a nod of his head, "I will look after her while you work and he gathers the water for you." He said, wishing that it was in any other situation that Takoda was telling him that he 'needed him here and now' but that wasn't likely to happen. Takoda had made his choice, it was something he would remind himself of and do his best to give all of his attention to Keilana instead of Takoda and Jacinthus for the moment. She was the one that needed everyone after all given what she was going through. Turning to give Keilana a smile he asked, "Do you want us to lay out the blankets for you to rest on? Or do you want to move some? My mother tends to pace a lot when it comes to her labors." He said, not sure which Keilana would want to do since he wasn't sure how long she'd been in labor by this point.

Keilana Post 6
It was never going to end, she may of thought when the contractions first started it was bad, but now she wished she could go back to that time and place. What she was experiencing right now was..beyond anything she could of imagined in her worst nightmares. Hours..or minutes she wasn't even sure just how long it had been since it had started and now laying on the ground she would grasped Chalcedony's hand like she would drown otherwise. Her life depended on that hand being there and she was thankful for Takoda's suggestion.
Right now though she was being told to push that he could see the head crowning and despite her best efforst of trying to breath she felt as if she could never have enough breath. Never again would she want to have children. people had babies or wanted them must be insane.

Takoda Post 5
So much blood, alright he had known what to expect but it still amazed him despite everything. He could only pray that the baby wouldn't get stuck. He felt like a parrot telling Keilana over and over to breath and that everything would be alright, and finally when it seemed like the moment would never come the baby slipped out.
Working with deft hands he cleared the babies mouth and nose and made sure it was breathing. Taking a sharp dirk and cutting the umbilical cord before tying it off.
It was about this time the baby began to wail announcing to everyone in the world that it was alive and well.
Sighing he used his arm to wipe a bead of sweet off and then went to pass Chalcedony the baby.
"Its a boy." He murmured, before he returned his focus to Keilana who despite just delivering a child..looked still heavily pregnant.

Chalcedony Post 4
Once this was all said and done he was going to have to request a healing spell for his hand, certain that Keilana was going to break it as some sort of revenge for him helping to get her into this condition. So this was what his father had gone through many times over, huh? He couldn't help but to sympathize with him now given that Chal only had to do this one time around where as Bomani had done it many of times. It felt like forever and a bit more blood then he'd seen before even given all the battles he'd been in, when his child seemed to feel that it was finally time to make an appearance.
He looked down at the little one, a son Takoda was saying, as he was held out to him. He was quick to scoop up one of the unused blankets, taking the baby with it so that he wouldn't risk slipping. He was quite a loud one, huh? Giving a smile he said, "You seem to have your mother's lungs, huh?" He sure seemed to be as loud as Keilana that was for sure he thought, smiling down at the boy who looked a lot like his mother save for the hair color and jewel color which was more like that of Chal. He carefully wiped the little, squalling child down with the blanket to help to clean him up before moving him to where Keilana could better see him. Best that he show her their son so that she would know that it was well worth all the work and pain she was being put through.
"Look at our amazing son, Keilana." He said happily, never so amazed before in his life by something so small. This truly was a wonderful day even if he was stuck sharing it with someone who was likely his least favorite person in the world.

Jacinthus Post 7
As the baby was handed off to Chalcedony, the only part that Jacinthus wanted to watch, having looked away for the rest, he couldn't help but to go a little wide eye. The kid was rather cute, wasn't he? For the moment he could even forgive his parentage given that the kid was his nephew, shared blood with his sister, and therefore overcame the blood of his father. He really was an adorable, perfect little thing... and he gave a bit of a smile at Chal's comment, "I think I am stuck agreeing with you there." The kid certain was loud, wasn't he? Not like he would have thought something so small could make so much noise. Luckily for all of them though they were in the village when Keilana had decided to given birth. Were they out in the wild it might be a problem but here in the village he was sure that it should be alright. Nothing to worry about given that they were surrounded by armed men as well as had their own weapons nearby if a predator was drawn in by the sounds and scents of what was going on.
"He's cute, just like you little Kei, lucky, isn't he?" He said, giving another grin before he leaned over to get a good look at the kid. Sure, he had a few of his father's features but he couldn't help but to find himself completely won over by him regardless. The first member added to their family in a long time, the last one being Takoda and the last one added that shared blood with them being Keilana. It was good to see, having worried a little that they might be the last of their family line, "It's a shame Mom and Dad can't see him." If only that monster hadn't taken them he thought to himself before he shook his head, "Ah! But we won't think of such things, today is a happy day, a new member has been added to our family after all." No reason to bring everyone down due to a random thought that had escaped him after all.

Takoda Post 6
It was a touching moment, one he wished he had more time to treasure and cherish as suddenly everyone seemed to put their differences aside and just marvel at the miracle which was the baby. They would have to think of a name for the little darling that was for sure. Giving a small smile as he listened to Jacinthus be completely won over by his new nephew he wondered if that would end his fighting with Chalcedony?
Right...Chalcedony was the father...with everything that was going on the shock of that particular revelation was now starting to sink in. Looking over to Chal holding his son he took a deep breath and returned his gaze to Keilana. Something...wasn't right.
Moving over he put his hand on the lower part of her stomach and pressed down lightly. His eyes widening.
"No time! Th..there is a second one!"

Keilana Post 7
Keilana was still feeling very full, even after the baby had been removed from her womb. Looking over as Takoda handed their son to Chal she offered a small smile, though she wanted to hold the rather loud but endearing child she couldn't quite let herself release her hold on Chalcedony's arm.
"He...is so ha..andsome..." She managed before giving a slight grunt as Takoda pressed on her stomach. Her eye's widening as he announced there was going to be another baby on the way.
WHAT?
She..she..was going to have to do that...ALL OVER AGAIN?
Before she could even protest against the notion another contraction wracked her body. She gave a gasping cry of pain announcing the start of her second set of labour pains.

Chalcedony Post 5
"A... wha?" A second one? There was a moment where he was stunned... then he felt a touch guilty. Twins, oh right, that happened in his family, didn't it? His sisters were twins, he had aunts on his father's side that were twins that visited once in a blue moon, and he'd heard stories of those from other generations. It was a bit of knowledge he was going to keep to himself for the moment. Pointing at himself and admitting that it was likely the fault of his bloodline that caused Keilana more pain and work would only end up in her trying to strangle him. Maybe she wouldn't remember meeting the Reva and Vera that day some time ago when she'd gone to tell him about the baby he thought to himself.
He looked down at the baby, over to Keilana, to the baby again, and then in a very, very reluctant fashion he handed his son over to Jacinthus. It was the last thing in the world he wanted to do but given that Keilana was busy and Takoda was the one helping her out with delivering the twins the idiot archer was his only choice. Once he'd handed the boy off to his uncle, a title that didn't exactly please Chal, he took Keilana's hand in his once more so that she could continue to abuse it, "Come on, Keilana, keep breathing." He said to her in a soothing manner, wanting for her to remember her breathing for the second round and if they were lucky that would be that, no third surprise to be had.

Jacinthus Post 8
"There's another one? Huh, I guess that makes sense." He murmured, recalling how much food Keilana had packed away in the past few months. She was a ravenous as a pack of hungry Witu and this must be the reason why, because she was carrying a pair of babies instead of just the one. So two of them, huh? That was kind of neat, it meant twice as many new members of the tribe, twice as many reasons to celebrate as well once Keilana recovered from all of this. He was sure having Takoda on hand to help out with the healing aspect of that recovery would be a good thing he thought to himself before he found his nephew suddenly being handed off to him so that Chalcedony and Takoda could both focus on Keilana and what she needed at the moment.
The archer stood stock still for a moment before he sat down, holding the boy close to his chest, and he gave a bit of a smile, "So tiny." He murmured, glad that he had something to focus on at the moment so that he didn't have to look to the side. He'd take care of the little one, Takoda could deal with the more bloody aspect of all of this, and Chal could get his hand crushed. It was win, win, win if you asked him, "I much prefer this task, believe me." He whispered to his nephew, then gave him a toothy grin. At least this was something he could better understand and help out with since he had helped in raising Keilana... though she was a bit older when she became his responsibility he supposed.

Keilana Post 8
If anything the second go around didn't last as long, though it was still just as intense. The poor woman swore she would never have kids again, and if her grip on Chalcedony's hand was any indication she would probably never let any male have sex with her either.
She had no idea how long she had been at it. It felt like it had been days and yet she knew that the sun was only just beginning to set. Once the second baby came out it wailed though only for a moment before going silent. Sweating she felt like she was dying of thirst...and she was so tired.

Takoda Post: 7 The baby came out faster than the first, though he was a bit worried as it only wailed a small amount before going quiet. Looking it over he discovered it was another boy but he was more concerned with it quieting down so fast. Though the baby seemed healthy enough ..he didn't want to raise alarm by scaring everyone needlessly if the baby was just more quiet than its brother. "Another boy.." He murmured as he handed the baby off to Chalcedony. The monk felt drained in so many ways than one. Right now he was being faced with all the emotions he wouldn't allow himself to feel while he was helping Keilana. Now that the delivery(s) were over he felt that...strange form of jealousy. Watching Kei cling to Chal felt weird...and he had no right to be annoyed or angry about it. Getting up he went to wash his hands of the blood, his job wasn't quite over yet he knew but he had t remove him from the group for a little bit.

Chalcedony Post 6
Chal carefully took his second son from Takoda with his free arm, hugging the boy to his chest, smiling down at him, "Hello there little one." He murmured, taking in the bright blue eyes of the boy that he was holding, eyes that were just like his own. Such an adorable boy he thought to himself before he looked down at Keilana, "You did really well, Keilana, very well." He told himself, leaning over closer so that she would be able to see their second born who had started to quiet down a little bit.
"We should probably see to it that they are fed." He murmured, glancing at Keilana, "Are you up for it? Or should we see about getting some milk for them?" Surely they would have an alternate source if Keilana was too weak from giving birth. He glance up for a moment when Takoda dismissed himself but was soon back to looking after Keilana and the boy in his arms, not to mention glancing over toward Jacinthus since the archer was holding his other son at the moment. As much as he didn't care for the guy he supposed that now was the best time to place nice, wasn't it?
After a moment of thought he finally said, "Hey, archer, can you grab another blanket for this one?" He hated asking for help from the guy but he would do so for the sake of his sons.
