At least they were try- OH. OH RIGHT! "Oh oh oh yea!" And then, once more, she recalled she was meant to be kicking somethings a**.
To which she once more swung the sword with as much might as she could muster and managed to club the monster with it. Because the thing wasn't mean for slicing in her head.

And that was how Maiden learned how to hit things.
"Just right. good job." he stated cheerfully from his spot lying under the collapsed enemy as it fell apart.
"No, just right! Great job." he said, watching Mylisp make the final strike. They had done it, defeated the enemy, and he smiled brightly. "We didn't do too bad."
Sure, they had kept missing, and they didn't really work together as a team, but they were strangers, and the important thing had been taken care of. They had won, and that was all that matters.
"It was a pleasure fighting with you guys."

And then after it 'asploded with great galore for all, she plucked up a few items just as the other Maiden fellow was falling over.
To which she looked at him, holding her new prizes with curiousity. "Do you need a hug?" Because those seemed to help. They helped lots. (Hint they heal.)
Hugs............... there was something about the word that resonated deep within his body. It was a feeling that was welling up that Maiden had no idea as to why, making him shiver in revulsion but also in need.
A dire need for the action, no matter how foreboding it sounded. The chance to take the last few parts was not going to be passed up as he straightened himself out and up off the floor. "I dunno, for some reason a hug sounds....................... both good and bad." he muttered, lost at the feelings that he had for the word.
It wasn't just a hug, what was it..... it felt like the word was a mile away. But there was something about the word.
