A grin, forced and unhappy, split on Remarque's lips. He raised a finger to wag at Orpheus as he scoffed. "You are so precious, Orpheus. But really, this fascination with getting me to kiss you has to stop. Here, let me get that thought out of your head."
He was fast, but that came with experience and rank. He certainly wasn't shy about throwing his fist against Orpheus' cheek; it served no real purpose than to hopefully disorient him long enough for him to drag him to a mirror—and to express his frustration with the senshi. Immediately after the punch, Remarque grabbed Orpheus' arm and gave it a sharp tug as he started off toward the nearest mirror. He didn't expect that Orpheus was going to come willingly, but Remarque wasn't particularly concerned with making this easy on the male.

Orpheus wasn't expecting this. He was about to reply to Remarque about how precious he really was when he came at him. It was sudden, too unexpected from all of their talk for him to do much other than move back so the hit didn't do too much damage from being a direct hit. It was enough to disorient him, giving Remarque enough time to get Orpheus close enough to the mirror before any real fighting between them could occur.
He hadn't looked behind him.
He didn't know there was a mirror there.
He simply laughed, "You don't want to kiss? You could have fooled me with the way you so direly tried to get me over here. Maybe if you asked me nicely I—" his teasing speech was cut off by Remarque shoving him backwards, causing his body to fall right into the mirror behind him.
This sensation.
This familiar sensation.
He was pushed into a mirror again.
His body froze up and he felt like he was drowning. How could he breathe? He couldn't breathe! He began to hyperventilate as the fear started to hit him as his body felt sunk into the cold embrace of the mirror. This wasn't happening! He worked so hard to avoid this happening but somehow he had been pushed into a mirror again! He couldn't think. He was in a blind panic as he fought to get any sort of control over his limbs.
There was no way to describe the utter panic that overcame him as his fears fought with his desire to escape before a new fear came to pass. It was no easy task to fight his fears though, no matter how much was on the line, and by the time he managed to escape out of the mirror he was gasping for air, heaving in and out as if he had been drowning. In a way he had been drowning in his fears and as he crawled out of the mirror on both hands and knees, a new fear had come to pass.
Catching his breath and trying to calm down, the realization of the change began to form in Orpheus' mind. His eyes began to narrow and he brought himself back up to his feet, his amber eyes piercing through a new pair of spectacles. He was different, and just like how Ares pushing him through that mirror had changed him, Remarque pushing him through this mirror had also changed him. Somehow he was closer to what he hated the most, and as he spat out a mix of blood and saliva from biting his own mouth in panic, he found his eyes narrowing in on Remarque.
"I'm going to ******** kill you!" He yelled as his fists flew.

Had it been anyone else, Remarque might have felt a twinge of sympathy for his actions Orpheus obviously hadn't wanted to go through the mirror—but it had been necessary, and Remarque didn't regret it. He took a step back when Orpheus through the punch only narrowly avoiding the first fist. He whistled approvingly, though there was a hint of mocking.
"Well, you're sure welcome to try. At least it's looking like you might at least survive a spat with me. But you've still got a way to go, sooo…" A smug grin remained on his face. "I'll let you thank me later. But it looks like you maybe need some time to yourself. To calm down, to settle in with your new power. How about you take a little while, figure yourself out…and we can rendezvous some other time, hmm? If you want to pick a fight, feel free to look me up. Any time, any place. But Orpheus?" He paused in his speech, either for dramatic flourish or because he was moving closer to the mirror. "You, killing me? Try not to get your hopes up. I'd hate to break your heart."
Seeing Orpheus like that—stronger, before him—probably gave him too much of an ego boost. He seemed as self-satisfied as anyone could be as he pressed closer to the mirror. It rippled, even as he stepped backwards into it. Remarque was enjoying this far too much; he waved and then slipped into the mirror, disappearing from view. The surface of the mirror rippled for a few seconds longer and then returned to normal; for as much as he enjoyed the spotlight, it seemed Remarque had exited the stage for tonight.

Out of his reach like everything always was, Sailor Orpheus watched helplessly as Sailor Remarque disappeared through the mirror. He felt relief with his disappearance but also horror from the thought that his enemy was now not only within the thing he hated but possibly watching him. His world quickly came crashing down around him, his body beginning to shake as he staggered as quickly as he could away from the mirror. He didn't want to risk it, he didn't want to see it, and thinking about how he had just been in it made him literally hunch over the nearest car and throw up on it.
He pulled away slowly, once again staggering down the street until he stumbled into a mostly vacant parking lot. Within the walls of concrete, Sailor Orpheus felt safe enough to power down. His body slumped forward from the difference in power and from there he staggered backwards and slid down against the wall to the ground. Amber eyes looked around for any sign of a reflection, and then he hunched over his knees. Overwhelming feelings of anger and misery hit Pascal Lalande like a brick and quickly the walls fell around him as he just sobbed uncontrollably.
He was never going to be okay, was he?
