"Thank you delightful person!" She smiled at the hand-touch. How sweet! How nice! She nodded and pulled away to scan Ida into her phone."Same goes for you." She laughed. "If you ever need me, I'm just a call away." She yawned. "This is life is hard, Ida. Most of the time I want to curl up in bed, but I guess this is my duty or something, so..."
She shrugged.
"Sleep sounds pretty nice, to be honest. No monsters out tonight it seems. Pretty quiet."
She felt relieved. Thank God. No battles. No dust. No ethical qualms. All seemed well. She stretched.
"Maybe I should go to bed." She laughed.

Ida smiled as she stood on the sidewalk, feeling lighter and more cheerful than normal. It was a little sad to think about how serious she had gotten lately, but it was times like this that reminded her why she was doing this, and how good senshi could be. It was refreshing to a soul that was starting to feel jaded and worn, as strange as that was. Who would have ever thought that Ida, of all people, would become that way?
Ah well. Tonight was a good night and that's what mattered.
"I need to get home too, I think. I still have to be careful about my dad finding me sneaking in, especially with school starting soon. He doesn't like it when I'm out too late, but at the same time, its really important as a senshi that I get out there and keep the monsters from eating innocent people." She reached to give Medea's hand a squeeze, a warm smile on her face. "I'll see you around, I'm sure, and like you said, I'm only a call away. Stay safe, okay? And call me if you need me for -anything-, even just to chat. I'll always be there, I promise."
And that was a promise she never intended to break.

Medea nodded dreamily and smiled at the warm squeeze. She yawned and leaned against the Senshi, powering down, into Ruthie the Normal. She leaned against Ida and brought her into a clumsy hug. "Thank you Ida!" She looked up at her mentor. "I won't let you down! I promise! And you can always call if you want me around, okay? " She released and stumbled back. "Even if things are scary and dark, I'll never back away! I'll fight through."
She laughed.
"You can count on me. I won't let anything bad happen." She brushed back her hair. "And thank you Ida." She looked at Ida with the look of hope and compassion and faith because she knew that Ida would never subject her to danger, never let her walk alone on train tracks or into abandoned factories. So much darkness awaited Medea, but neither of them knew.
