The knight and the villain seemed so distant. Even though they were behind her, hidden from view, all focus laid straight on this ... thing. This glowing jewel. This piece of frighteningly beautiful jewelry that spoke both of fate and madness. Come closer to destiny, it seemed to say. Your destiny. As she drew closer to it, she could make out the topaz as not one but two jewels, part of a filigree bracelet and ring. Her mind told herself to stay away but... .. in her heart, home was calling. She whispered that word that would be her fate from now on. "Tír na nÓg." A bright blue light flashed from the alley, and out stepped a long blue-haired young lady in an outfit that you wouldn't call normal for civilians. What accompanied it was a lovely weak Order aura. Lovely as it was, the young woman's face more spoke of shock, as she took another step towards them with some skirt in hand. "The HELL is going on??!"

It was already a rather dire situation for Buddingtonite, and no amount of anger could truly cause him to neglect these vices for much longer. He had already made a mistake in continuing after fair maiden when she had it clear that she had no intention being a victim, and for that, he was nursing a busted lip.
Then he had the audacity to pick a fight with a knight, one that not only protected himself with a very hefty-looking shield but had control of magic that was simply beyond him. It was something that his knightly enemies always managed to trump him with and he wanted to go on and on about how simply unfair it was that the White Moon and their allies had access to such powerful devices and spells, leaving poor Negaverse officers such as himself helpless. Of course, he'd neglect to mention the part that he had it coming by being the one to agitate the situation when he could have just walked away, but that wasn't the point!
He wanted to stick around and at least get a single blow in on the knight, even if it risked him casting that horrid spell again, but the ping of another Order aura caused the captain to lose his nerve. He was reeling his arm back to throw his boomerang again, but it stopped dead in mid-motion, and her shout was unnecessary. Another knight?! Where in the blazes did she come from? How on Earth did she sneak up on him?
"What? Where in the seven layers of Hell did you come from?" Such thoughts did not remain in his head, and he twisted around with a startled grunt, considering turning his weapon onto her for a brief moment before deciding against it. If he struck her, that left his back exposed to the stronger knight, and there was only one logical course of action here. He gave an angry stomp to emphasize his frustration, before resorting to the only bit of magic he truly had. "Nevermind! Neither of you are worth my life!"
His weapon disappeared, shortly followed by him, and all that was left in his wake was the specks of blood on the concrete from where he once stood. Tonight just wasn't his night...Lithia_Brandon And this little piggie went... Ryndilee Weeweewee, all the way home.

Camelot breathed a sigh of relief as the Negaverse soldier vanished, glad for their ability to teleport away, for once. He hated it sometimes, when he was trying to talk to them or to accomplish something and they ran off before he could do that, but tonight it was a very welcome tactic.
He relaxed a bit, letting his shield sag a bit, and then looked at the knight that had come out of no were.
"Oh. Hello," he said pleasantly, and he smiled at her, seeing the look of confusion on her face. He could only assume that she was new, and that was why she was so confused, but he did not immediately put it together that this was the same girl that he had just rescued from the Nega. He was hopeful, thinking about that civilian now, that she had gotten away.
"Did you see a girl run from here? A civilian, she was being attacked by a Negaverser, and I wanted to be sure she was okay. I ah... don't think she quite understood..." he watched the newbie page with a dumb look on his face. No matter how long he had been in this, no matter how many knights and senshi he had seen awakened, he still could not overcome the magic of glamour, and was left looking like an idiot more often than not.
Not that he could blame that entirely on the magic, but still.

Honestly, no amount of reasoning could explain the magical sparkles and the sudden transformations and-- wait, did he just call the guy who left a Negaverser? She paused a moment, tilting her head as she watched him stare in awe at her. And then she smiled. She had that effect on people. Let him stare~ "Do you mean that girl who thought you were an acting troupe?" Her eyes went to the specks of blood. Definitely.. not fake. "Yes, she ran off into the alley and found something quite strange." Adele-turned-magical-whatever stalked straight up to Camelot and held up her hand, showing off the magical jewelry she found. "She found this. And now she's this." Her other hand trailed up her figure from her hip to her head, indicating her new wardrobe. "I would like an explanation. 'You're dreaming' probably won't cut it."

Camelot looked at her and something in his brain clicked when she explained. He grinned brightly at her, looking embarrassed but relieved at the same time, which was a strange rush of emotions for him and he had a difficult time processing.
"Oh! You're the girl! And you've awakened as a knight! Well that's good! I mean, a little poorly timed, as the threat has run off, but, I suppose that's better than having to actually have to fight on your first night as a... uh. Knight."
He frowned, noting that he was babbling. He tended to do that when he was embarrassed or had too many thoughts in his head or was proud of something he knew or was just having a normal conversation. So basically all the time.
"You should know your name, without realizing it. I'm Camelot, Knight of Earth. We're protectors of this city, and this planet. Ah..."
