"Every weekday? Are you for serious?"
Dallol blinked and stared at Corinth incredulously as if he had suddenly grown another head between his shoulders. Whoa. Talk about enthusiasm from the newbie Knight. Whatever happened to, in his own words, giving himself a little bit of decompression time? "You sure you're not overdoing this a little? I mean..." She took a few seconds to gather her own thoughts on the matter before addressing him once again.
"... you do have school and assignments and assessments to work on. Right..?" Unless she was severely mistaken about his age which she doubted she was. As it was, she was only able to spare enough time for patrols twice or, at the most, thrice per week with her current schedule and she couldn't see herself keeping up with him if he was going to insist on patrolling on an almost daily basis.
His next question caught her entirely off guard though and she looked confused for a bit as to what he was alluding to. "Stress? You mean this? Or trying to juggle both this and our civilian life?"

"I go to the public high school so homework is kind of a joke. I'm not in any advanced placement classes either, to be fair I'm kind of a slacker when it comes to school - I do enough to get by."He was actually lying through his teeth, he was in a few AP courses but he was still just coasting through class. School wasn't his focus, and it wasn't like he couldn't practice on his own. "All of it, this, balancing your life... just... all of it?"

"Ah... must be fun having it easy at school like that. No wonder you're really getting into this." It briefly crossed Dallol's mind to ask Corinth what he did with the amount of free time that he had on his hands when he was done with his homework. She decided that it wasn't her business to pry in the end, a thoughtful expression on her face as she gave some consideration to his posed question.
"I guess I've never encountered any issues since I'm only able to get into this twice or so a week?" It wasn't the entire truth really. She was, after all, still figuring out her place in this whole powered business and whether she ought to take up Remarque's suggestion to defect to the Negaverse. Someone as new as Corinth wouldn't really understand what she was going through at the moment so she saw no need to burden him with the details of all that.
"I got into my high school with a scholarship so there's the pressure of keeping all of my grades in the top ten percentile or I'll be dropped from the programme." She provided an explanation with regards to why she wasn't able to commit as much time and attention as he was planning to, pausing for awhile before broaching tentatively on the matter of agreeing to be his partner and watching his back. "So um... will you be alright with patrolling on your own on the days that I'm unable to make it?"

Corinth chuckled. "Well if I'm not you'll find my body crumpled and broken in an alley - so yeah, I mean, I'm sure I can handle myself." He still wasn't one hundred percent certain that his combat skills were up to snuff, he wasn't a fighter he was a musician. But still... he'd do what he could. "That sucks that you've got to keep the top ten percent though," he added, watching her as the moon started to rise. It didn't help his already slowly growing thought that she was actually really pretty... Well yeah, she was pretty - so was Hafwen. He wasn't about to go and ruin that with her just because he was able to hang out with a cute girl all the time. That would be dumb. He knew she wouldn't necessarily know if he was cheating on her with another Knight, but still - it was the principle of the thing. It would be wrong to cheat. He averted his gaze then, doing his utmost not to stare. "Maybe I'll only do half patrols on the nights you can't make it, I'm not going to expect you to put your schooling at risk just to cover me."

Dallol frowned at Corinth's attempt at humour, not at all finding it funny even if it was at his own expense. "Don't joke about things like that." She chastised him lightly, hoping that that would be enough to get her point across that there was no glory to be had in being dead or maimed as a result of their participation in this war. Loathed as she was to admit, she was enjoying the company of the Neptune Page before her and she would really hate to see him come to harm just because he decided to take on something he wasn't able to handle on his own like a General or General-King.
"Yeah. Does an excellent job of keeping us on our toes but education is an expensive business. No surprise there." She gave a shrug, lifting a brow slightly when she caught him checking her out again. Guess there was no harm in him looking if her goods were plain for all to see thanks to her fuku and he was going to do only that. "Or you could take a break. Or find yourself another partner to cover those days. I appreciate your understanding in this so thank you. Corinth."

Corinth nodded. "Sorry, sometimes self depircation works, sometimes it doesn't." He shook his head all the same and rolled his shoulders. "Well, I'd say we should start patrolling else we'll be out here all night," He chuckles weakly with a shake of his head. "And that wouldn't be good for your studies, or for me if I was caught not at home." He'd totally be grounded for sneaking out, not that it would matter cause he'd sneak out of the house again anyway, but he'd rather avoid the tirade that would follow if he was in fact caught.

Dallol was probably overreacting a little to Corinth's seemingly harmless joke. "It's okie. I'm all for a good laugh anytime any day but that kind of crossed the line for me there. Sorry..." She quickly offered an explanation for her action, all too ready to put that behind her when the other Page proposed that they begin their patrol of the area lest they get held up even more.
"Yeah. I don't really have a fixed route or area so how about you show me the route that you usually take?" She could only imagine what kind of punishment would await Corinth from his parents should what he feared actually came to pass. "Ouch... is there a specific time that you need to be back by?" She might not have had to face that kind of s**t from Hywel but she had heard enough from her peers in school to get a pretty good idea.

"Well I have to be back before the sun rises that's for sure," Corinth chuckled weakly with a shake of his head. "My curfew is midnight technically, but I went to bed early tonight and ducked out when I got a chance." It had been a risky maneuver but he'd managed to pull it off as far as he could tell. He'd just slip in from the window when he got home and with any luck he'd be fine. "Here, I want to check up around that girl I talked about earlier, she lives nearby..." He nodded his head and started to head off in the direction of Crystal Academy.

"Ah... and any parent should know better than to check on their teenage son when he does that since you'll never know if he may be in the middle of something..." Dallol chipped in with an amused expression.
It was probably a highly inappropriate comment to make on her part but she couldn't resist really with the anonymity that her powered identity came with as well as Corinth's earlier declaration that he was already enamoured with someone else at the moment to keep things clear between the both of them. It felt really good being able to be herself like this for once without having to concern herself with what other people would think had she spoken those same words as Hafwen Goodall.
"Alright. Am right behind you..."

Corinth laughed and almost missed his next jump, forcing him to grab a hold of a nearby air conditioning unit, it creaked angrily at his additional weight on it's already rusty and decaying frame, but thankfully it held and he was able to right himself as he pulled himself fully onto the rooftop. It had been a close thing, but he was glad that he'd managed. This whole parkour thing was completely foreign to him and he wasn't quite up to snuff with it yet. "My step mom would interrupt just to ensure I WASN'T doing that in my room." He grimaced and made a face at her over his shoulder as he started back up on his jumps. "We're not too far, she's a Crystal Girl from what I can tell..." He chuckled weakly. "I go to Meadowview myself, so I'm not as elite as she is. I hope she doesn't think I'm trying to date up."

"... really? Jeez... that's kinda mean of her. To deliberately intrude on your personal private time like that." Unsure as to how she ought to react to this, Dallol settled for a long and hard stare in Corinth's direction, shaking her head a few times in obvious disapproval of what he had to face from his step mum. She wouldn't stand for something like that if Hywel was the type to probe his nose where it wasn't welcomed.
"A Crystal Girl. Oho... you truly have a taste for the finer things in life. Not bad." Eager to put what the other Knight had shared earlier behind her, she giggled and waggled her eyebrows as she teased him for a bit before putting in her two cents on the matter. "So long as your intentions are pure, I'm sure she'll warm up to you eventually." After all, he did seem like a really nice boy all things considered impression-wise.
"You know which room she's supposed to be in?"

"I haven't the foggiest actually and that's probably a good thing," Corinth chuckled shaking his head. "I would really be a creeper if I knew exactly what dorm she lived in. I just know she goes there." He shrugged. Stopping just shy of the campus he looked around, both with his eyes and with that second sense they seemed to have acquired as knights that let him detect auras. "So far so good,"

Standing atop the roof, Dallol cast her gaze upon the Crystal Academy campus and the dorm building, laughing softly at Corinth's response of him being an actual creeper if he were to go as far as to find out exactly which room the girl he fancied was staying in. "Point taken. So long as this area's clear, she should be fine." She would know best since she too stayed at the dorms though the other Knight wasn't privy to the fact that she was a Crystal Academy girl yet.
Checking the area again to ensure that they were the only ones powered up around them, she turned to regard Corinth.
"So... where're we heading to next?"

"I'm not sure, anywhere you usually go from here?" Corinth asked, turning his gaze toward her with a slow nod. "I don't really have a solid route usually. I just go where the wind takes me and sort it out from there."It wasn't the most efficient route, but it really didn't matter to him. He tried to cover as much ground as he could every night.

"Not really." Dallol shook her head at Corinth's question.
"Same goes for me actually. It's probably better to be random and unpredictable so that our enemies can't stage an ambush along one of our patrol routes." She pointed out after a relatively brief pause. It was actually something that suddenly struck her just as she contemplated if she ever had a preferred or fixed route on any of her solo patrols so far as opposed to a conscientious choice of action after giving the options avail to her some serious thought.
Of course there were the odd days when she would either skip out on patrolling entirely or did an extremely short one so that she could sooner get back to her dorm and crash for the night.
