Ashe scrunched his face at that. "Yea, but first years aren't supposed to be on a broom," he added, sounding a bit sulky. Only during class....albeit, he was a little thankful for it. He'd never been on a broom before and could only imagine taking a tumble off it. Starting with a teacher would probably be a safer bet than leaping into playing golf with a broom.

"Although..." he looked thoughtful, pursing his lips, "if we found a classroom that usually has the window open we could set up a hole there!" he perked at the idea, grinning again. "Well then how about we pick a day to go scouting the grounds....and any low-hanging gutters and open windows!" Okay, so most likely that would be frowned on....but the headmaster hadn't mentioned anything about rules against golfing. He certainly didn't mind getting up to a little shenanigans so long as it wasn't against the rules, plus the golf course was just sounding better and better the more they discussed it.
