"I was simply jealous because many of the other Females that were my age had already gotten their mates... And had their newborn pups.... It was sickening to me... I just couldn't stand it... So I killed them.. Trying to make my nightmare fade away..... But it only got worse.."
Mtupeni looked down at the leg bone she was eating, blood and flesh gnarled together. Having a sick feeling, she pushed it away from herself, just not having the appetite to eat anymore, even though she was quite skinny in the first place.

Kucha tried to smile a little just to maybe please her somehow..she seemed down " I am sorry i left you like that but i just couldn't stay there because you wanted i need to to this for myself " *he sat down and he was still looking at her his grey eyes where a little more sad but it was hard to see if you didn't know him " Well i don't think i can help you...hm well maybe it depends on if you want help and what kind "

"I doubt you can help me now... You turned me down once... And I don't want to be turned down again."
The Female Hyena slowly got up, stretching out her front legs, anf then her back. She reached down and picked up the meat covered bone, taking it over to the carcass of the dead pup. After setting it down, she laid down next to it, slightly chewing pieces of bone and flesh off.

Kucha followed her and layed down infront off her..he looked at the bones " Hm well maybe who knows you where my friend once......but i actually didn't know how much you wanted pups off your own...but maybe you would eat them too " he actually belived his old friend had totally lost it and he felt so sorry for her he wanted to help her but didn't know how...

The Hyena snickered, in the way that most Hyenas did.
"Me? Eat my own pups? You've got to be kidding! I only eat other creatures young... Not my own. If they were mine, I'd love them to the ends of the plains.... And much more. I want pups of my own... And I want them with you Kucha.... I love you... No one else.."

He sighed a little he actually didn't think he loved her in that way sure she was like hsi best friend or well she was but after all thid that had happend he didn't think he could be with her anymore " I love you like a friend...maybe you would be a totally diffent hyena if you became a mom..." he wasn't totally sure but maybe she could change..

Mtupeni's ears lowered some, even though she kept a stern face, it was obvious how upset she was. She got up and started to kick dirt on top of the mutilated Hyena pup.
"Let the scavengers eat the rest..... I'm not hungry anymore...."
With that, she began to walk off, heading off out into the plains of the land, leaving Kucha behind.

Kucha got up when he saw her leaving " Mtupeni! are you really sure you want to leave we can still be friends right? " he liked her as his friend but maybe that was not what she wanted....he looked sadly at her he did not like his past because he still felt a little respossible for her being like this..

As she walked, she slowed some, waiting for Kucha to catch up with her. No matter what he may have done to her, she still loved him, and she always would.

The Female Hyena simply nodded, slowing to where he was now trotting by her side. She was looking dead ahead, looking very serious, yet at the same time, extremely gentle.

Kucha where silent he didn't know what to say seeing his friend like this was painful " Any special place you wanna go? " he looked at her not so well fed body..Kucha was quite the opposite he had succed pretty well by himself.

"Nope.. No special place... Just home..... You don't mind meeting a friend of mine do you? She's like me... In a way..... She too was exiled... But not by her pack... She exiled herself for her pack's safety.... You might of heard of her in legends or something. Her name is Chu'mana, the snake maiden."
Mtupeni was now walking right next to Kucha, her head leaning on his shoulder, and her paws occasionally mixing in with his. Her body was pressed up against his own, swaying with the same pattern as Kucha's.

" Hm no i have never heard off her...what is she a hyena too? " he let her walked close to him but it still felt so weird but he didn't say anything what should he say that she couldn't walk near him? they where old friends and she could need one right now..but his face still looked serious..

The Hyena merely chukled, shaking her head a little bit.
"No... Of course not... She's a higher life form than we are. As you should know, us Hyenas also have to rely on the almightly Lion... And the occasional Cheetah.... Chu'mana is a Lioness... I corrupted one at that..."
