"You're boring me, no, stop talking. Seriously. Are you deaf? I'm not kidding here, you're boring the living crap out of me. God you are so dull, do you have any friends? Is that why you are here? To get people to listen to you? Shut the ******** up, dude. Goddamn," Typhon rambled on, not listening to whatever the date was saying. "I'm not listening to you. Why are you still talking? Is this your idea of a good date? Holy ********, you are the worst. I hate you. I have known you for twenty seconds and I hate you."

At that point, Typhon just focused on energy drain.

When the time came Captain Xenotime moved over a seat and found herself sitting in front of the pirate Bornite had faced moments before. The other girl was given a once over, and while attractive enough to catch the punk's attention, it was clear by her attitude that she wasn't open to the possibility of experimenting with the opposite sex. Which left the pair of them sitting there, staring at each other. Xenotime scribbling a quick note down on her paper as the pirate dressed girl tapped her names loudly on the table between them.

It was the tapping, more then the awkward silence that stretched between them, that wore on Xenotime's nerves. She put up with it for about a minute, then rolled her eyes and glanced to either side of her. The boys had her flanked, and as she looked between the two a slow smile begin to curl over dark lips.

Bornite would feel a soft brush along his thigh before slender fingers closed over his knee. Typhon, on her other side, received much the same treatment, but not at his knee.

It was that, more then ignoring her own date, that probably brought the bouncer up behind her chair, beefy hands falling heavily upon her shoulders unexpectedly. It made her startle, grip tightening on either boy before she looked up, noticed the unhappy scowl directed down at her, and reluctantly removed her hands. "Sorry," she offered smoothly with a grin. "They're just so cute."

The bouncer's grip only tightened before he hoisted the teen from her seat. "Hey! Get off me!" Voice raised, struggling against the bouncer's grip, Xenotime was likely making a scene, but she didn't care. "Let go!" He ignored her, moving her with woeful ease towards the door. "Oh come on, are you serious!?" Apparently groping your comrades under the table was grounds for being bounced. Who Knew?!

"Alright, fine! I'm going. ********, get off." A powerful yank let her twist out of the bouncer's grip, and she glared up at him before glancing back at the speed daters. She glared at the lot of them. Well, all but two. Apparently she paused too long, cause a big hand was coming at her again, and she had to shrug away from it. "Al-RIGHT! ********." She flipped off the room at large before stalking for the door. So lady like. "Peace out, Losers."

Her boys would find texts waiting on their phones when they finished with their little energy gathering thing.

Speed dating was something that Richard Moreau often did on a slow weekend, when he felt like taking a gamble but didn’t feel like losing a lot of money, and he wanted a chance to get a few names and numbers for a little fun time later. Had he come as Richard Moreau, he would have likely been done for and his energy siphoned in the first two tables. But today, he came in as Buddingtonite, and not just Captain Buddingtonite, but he might have taken the whole ‘Come As Your Aren’t’ part a little too seriously.

He wore a wig, not the same he sported for the attack, of course, and his attire was something to be admired, if he was going to a new-age Rocky Horror Picture Show. There was lace and frills here and there, high heel black boots with a red and black boa draped over his shoulders and around his neck. He wasn’t necessarily Frankenfurter, but he certainly looked the part, make up and all. He wasn’t quite here to impress anyone, really, and he certainly didn’t mean to make a mockery of what the Negaverse was doing or anyone that had lived this kind of lifestyle, but what was life if not a little fun?

So, with his drink in hand and his fabulous self decked head to toe, he was ready to get this party started, and the moment they were ordered to take their numbers and seats, he got to it. His strategy was pretty much the same thing he’d do if he was going at this event as his just as entertaining civilian self. More chat, less touching, and if people were a little put off by his appearance (and shame on them if so), then he was certain that his sultry voice would do the trick. After all, who didn’t like the sound of his voice?

”I take it from the look on your face that you haven’t seen the movie Rocky Horror Picture Show? A pity, because I think you’d get a real kick out of it,” Buddingtonite said, not at all disguising his voice or pitching it to fit his attire. He wasn’t here to offend and he had heard enough from his old college friends about the bad stereotypes. He just liked to have a reason to dress up outside of Halloween, and the looks he received, either good or ill, always pleased him. ”Stars Tim Curry, Susan Sarandon... uh... I think one of the Baldwin brothers? Oh, I don’t know, never cared much for Brad myself. That character, Colombia, though, that was a lady I could really sink my teeth into.”

He gently brushed his hand against hers, and he gave a wink as he added, as he grabbed just a tiny bit of energy. ”I think you’d fit her tight, sexy yellow pants just perfectly...”

When her next date sat in front of her, Mackenzie's eyebrows raised. A grin split across her lips when the girl squirmed uncomfortably in her seat. "What, not into ladies?" She questioned with a laugh. "I'd bet I'm a better date than any of the guys in here, darlin'... You can take that however you'd like," she winked at her.

Yep, she was definitely uncomfortable. "Shame though, you're awfully cute," Mackenzie's hand reached under the table to brush against the other girl's knee before moving up her thigh just slightly, her eyes shifting to the bouncers as the girl winced under her touch.

When the buzzer went off, she noticed the girl yawning and looking sort of dazed. With a satisfied smile, she waited for the next sucker to come along.

The first person who showed up to Acanthite's table was a cute guy. Like, supercute. Cute enough to be sort of distracting, especially since he still seemed sort of shy in spite of his glowstick-adorned get-up. Cute enough that she sort of forgot to try to drain him. And in the end, she had not even ended up with any sort of contact info. What was he doing here if he did not want to talk about anything?

The next person was a girl who leaned eagerly across the table as she sat down.
"Oh man, I'm not les or anything, but your outfit is adorable," she cooed, as she adjusted her absurdly short neon tulle skirt and flicked fake neon raver dreads back over her shoulder. "I sew, so, I really hope you'll tell me if you made it."

The girl had a few too many piercings and a little too much makeup for Acanthite's taste, but she seemed nice enough. If nothing else, she would at least have someone interesting to talk to for the next few minutes.

"Thanks," she replied with a cheerful smile. "Some parts of it are sort of secret, though...."

Like the energy draining. But maybe not secret enough. After a stern look from one of the bouncers, Acanthite focused on just trying to keep up with the talk about making corsets from scratch.

Well, Porsha's dramatic exit certainly had... an effect. When the next girl sat down, she was looking shell-shocked about all the commotion.

And Bornite was grinning. A little too much, actually; broadly and hilariously, in a way that made him seem more insane than friendly.

The girl looked over her shoulder uncomfortably, and the same bouncer met Bornite's eye.

Two fingers went up, this time.

Goddammit.

"Well hello there," Typhon grinned and winked at Xenotime as she got a little handsy with him. Sadly, she was dragged out before he could really get into it - and the date he has pretty mortified (more than he was already). When the dates swapped, a new girl sat before him, but he was thoroughly uninterested in her.

By that time, Bornite had caught his eye again.

"Switch with me," he said to the girl.

"What?"

"Are you an idiot? I said switch with me," Typhon demanded, lightly shoved the girl out of her seat and swapped places. A bouncer gave him a dirty look, but was still escorting out Xenotime else he probably would have gotten the boot.

Strike one.

It all happened so fast. The timer went off and Sawyer realized the seat next to him was empty and the seat in front of him was--

"You insufferable jackass," he hissed through his teeth, but he was grinning too hard to look properly indignant. "You are going to get us all in so much ******** trouble and I'm already on the thinnest of ice. Does this even work?" he added, and very abruptly he yanked down his scarf, grabbed Dustin by the hair, leaned forward, and kissed him, hard on the mouth. One of the neighboring white-chairs gasped in shock at the forwardness of it all.

It did work. Take that, you saucy douchebag.

Take that? Gladly!

Typhon didn't resist for a moment - no, he sunk right into it. It didn't look like the other boy was looking for tongue action, but that didn't stop Typhon from trying. He wrapped an arm around the other boy, his fist clenching Bornite's hair. As for Typhon's other hand? Well, that was reaching across the table too, only that hand's target was much lower.

For that moment, he wasn't focused at all on energy draining his date.

Nope! Bornite yanked away, pushing Typhon's hands out of the picture, and gave him the sternest of faces. "You're going to get us kicked out," he said solemnly, like that had all been Typhon's idea. And he was flush-faced, but he seemed otherwise remarkably unrattled.

Typhon grinned as he sunk down into his seat, and started giving a little more focus to the whole energy-draining aspect of his date.

"Well then," he said, a devilish smirk still wide on his face. "We've kissed, and we're on a date. Only thing left we have to do is ******** each other. And that's like the law of dating, Sawyer. I'll be over at your place tonight for some lovin', sexy."

He topped it all off with a wink and a series of other coy gestures.

Thyone hadn't done much to alter her appearance. She fit a sort of harem theme well enough, and really, the only necessary additions were those to cover the signs of her corruption, and a masquerade half-mask to shield her identity. While the event had initially seemed like a great idea, she'd found herself distracted - a few rounds had gone by with little interest on her part, and she was wishing for her phone.

When the sap across from her touched her hand - breaking her out of her own thoughts, the look that she sent him was so murderous that a nearby bouncer cleared his throat.

The timer rescued Bornite from any further interaction with Typhon. He was feeling cocky and self-assured and although he was not a person prone to regret, encouraging Dustin of all people was a thing he would come to regret later.

The plump, buxom girl that nearly shoved Typhon out of his seat to sit in front of Bornite was beaming. The silent-film-star eyeliner was doing her any number of favors, as was the slinky dress.

"I saw that!" she told him breathlessly. "You must be a real wild one. That's exactly the kind of thing I was hoping for."

He did not resist, even though it meant he'd have dark red lipstick on his face for the rest of the night. He made a mental note to slip some money under Ilmenite's door as a thank you.

This had done wonders for his confidence. He beamed at the next participant, and deployed a trick to get her hand in his that had been working for him in the street: he offered up a palm reading, and summoned up embellished tales of past lives and future opportunities, generously ladling in the idea that his subject--a petite doe-eyed Lolita with a knowing smirk--should be on the lookout for vivacious, dark-haired boys. True love, you know? Says right here on your heart line. You should never argue with your heart line.
