"I guess I can live with being part of a harem as long as I'm the favorite," he let her move his hand. It would be hard for her to talk if he was covering her mouth.
Then again suddenly her not talking had all sorts of bonuses. "We'll see if I decide to warn her ahead of time."
Then he pretty much grabbed her by the chin to pull her a bit closer and kissed her. He doubted that it would stop her from any smartassed remarks, but it was something he'd been wanting to do for a while. Thus he went for it.

"Mmmmmm," Ariane tapped her chin with a finger, as if deep in thought, "Oh sure, you can be the favorite if that's what you want."
The kiss caught her by surprise, but it wasn't like she had any more reasons to resist. Returning the favor, she even decided not to say anything snarky.
"There's your treat."
Alright, so she ended up saying something anyway, her lips still pressed against his.

He couldn't really argue with any of that, honestly. Jude got to be the favorite in the harem, he got a treat for good behavior.
Jude hadn't expected her to stop snarking at him because that was just how she is and thus he resolved it by pulling her in closer and deepening the kiss for a moment or two before he pulled away just a bit and settled with just wrapping his arms about her waist, "So what else you want to do today other than fill my life with the joy of puns."

"Well you've already achieved half the things you want to do in the day. Invade my room to see if I'm naked or not, pester me, and we've discussed what I've been up to." He mused as if going over her achievements for the day would help her decide what to do next. "What have you been doing lately, anyways? Very unlike you to just hide out."
Granted she could have been on a duty at a different station, but still.

"I wouldn't call it hiding out. It's more of..." Ariane shrugged, pausing as she tried to find a word to describe what it was like for her recently, "Putting missions on the back burner for a while. Not everyone's a machine; I like to think taking a break would just help me perform later on, hm?"
At least she felt ready to go on the next mission without having to drag herself out of bed.

Jude blinked a little as he listened to her, "Oh I guess so, but you are sounding a bit like me a while ago," he chuckled a little bit. "Just want to make sure you're alright, I guess. I'm not the type to fuss over people, though..."
He supposed that was why Ariane wasn't too fussed over dating him.
Thus that was when Jude pretty much continued to sprawl all over her personal space.
"So, yes it is okay to take a break, but I do worry about you because I care...Or something like that," he stuck his tongue out at her.

Jude clearly needed some obedience training; he was getting out of hand.
"Sounding a bit like you? Don't flatter yourself," She laughed, pinching his cheeks since he was so determined to take over her personal space, "You're lucky that you're cute, and my favorite."
The laughter continued for a bit before it subsided, her expression turning a little more serious as she smirked, "Don't worry though. I'm a pretty well made Weeble." Her way of saying thank you for the concern.

"I don't need to flatter myself since you're doing it for me," he teased back lightly, he let her pinch his cheeks with a bit of a whine at it, but only a small bit so he could pretend that he was actually protesting. "I bet you tell all the guys with nice butts that," he rolled his eyes. His way of saying 'thank you for the compliment'.
Jude laughed a little bit, "Well, yeah. I've noticed that you're a strong Weeble." He shrugged his shoulders a bit and reached over and lightly fussed at her hair. Cause he could.

"You're still at level Jude. You need to get to level Ariane," She put on her clearly not impressed face, snorting at his comment before sighing deeply, "Guess I can't fool you... That's right. Every guy in the harem is cute. But there's only one favorite." Lightly, she pinched him on his nose.
Ariane enjoyed having her hair played with, even if she wasn't exactly showing it openly. It made her feel - gasp - like a girl. Not that she ever felt like a male, but it just made her feel more like a girl for some reason. Weird.
Leaning towards Jude, she laid her head on his shoulder, and closed her eyes, "Mmm, let's just stay in today. Putting missions on the back burner ends tomorrow, not today."

He scrunched his nose a bit, "I am on all of the levels," he insisted at her with a smirk. Jude wasn't all that serious about their little exchange as much as he was just playfully talking to her, he seemed a lot more relaxed now. Jude wiggled his nose after she pinched it, "I can live with being the only favorite, I actually kinda prefer that," he laughed.
Just kinda.
Quietly he twirled a bit of her hair on a fingertip as he let Ariane rest her head on his shoulder, his head tilted to rest on hers, "Okay. For now I think it is an awesome time for a nap?"

Jude just chuckled a little as he gave her a small kiss on the cheek and then settled in to nap with Ariane for now.
The world could wait - it was nap time.
