Viveka's expression morphed into that of shock as Rastian growled, and quickly fell back down into a rather ashamed frown. He glanced to Rastian, to the floor, and eventually turned his gaze to the side. He knew Rastian was right, he was raised by someone kind, compassionate and reliable, he wasn't giving Zevian enough credit. His mother fell off of a ledge and left both he and his father in shambles, but not once did his father give up on him or the idea that they would make it. Tears formed in his eyes and he moved to wipe them, before looking towards Rastian again.
"I'm sorry, Razzie..." He sighed. "I... I don't mean to sound selfish. I appreciate everything our father has ever done for me, it's just... I wish he would listen to me when I talk about the wedding." He paused and leaned his head against his brother's shoulder. "He tells me not to be nervous and walks away before he even has a chance to hear me out... It's so frustrating!"

Rastian rolled his eyes as he was leaned on and he extended his arm out to wrap Viveka in a gentle squeeze. He already knew how much of a pain Viveka could be and how much trouble he could get himself into, but now that they knew they were brothers, it would be much harder to remove himself from the equation. He sighed, smiled softly and ruffled the other's hair.
"Alright, you claim he won't listen," He began, a rather smug expression on his face. "But did you actually speak up about your feelings or did you just say you were nervous about the wedding? He won't react the way you want to without the right words, dumbass."

Viveka pursed his lip and blushed. No... No, he hadn't. As usual, Rastian was right on the nose about him, which was a blessing in disguise, he supposed. He straightened himself out in his positioning and snuggled against his brother.
"Why does life have to be so involved, Rastian?" He sighed, closing his eyes.

"You're asking the wrong delivery boy, brother." Rastian snorted. Life was usually crazy for Rastian, and he wasn't quite sure yet if he made it so or if life made it so. Still, it was his life, he wasn't going to have another one, to his knowledge. He raised his free hand to brush a few stray hairs off his face and found himself peering down at Viveka's face. He smiled, he looked so calm when he slept. It was almost hard to believe that the soul behind that content expression was so anxious and out of sorts. He let out a soft sigh of his own at the thought. A wonderful twist, wasn't he?
Then, the sound of Natsu's voice could be heard outside the tent, sending a jolt up his spine. He gazed to Viveka, who had sat straight up again, and smiled awkwardly. "Do you want me to hide you?" He asked, rolling his eyes.

"YES! YES!" Viveka squealed, leaping up from his place. He tugged Rastian out the back of the tent and flailed around. Where could he hide? There was no where to hiiiiide! He wiggled around in place until, at last, he spied a tent in the far corner of the settlement and made a mad dash for it.
"I'll be in here! You go get him for me!" He cried. "Don't tell him it's meeeee!"

Rastian heaved a sigh, that was HIS tent. He usually didn't let anyone inside unless he was there, but because Viveka was his brother, he'd let it slide for today. He waved in response to Viveka's squealing and turned to wander back to where Natsu and his family had gathered. Osha and Moka were being reunited and the tears were falling like spring water. He smiled, rolled his eyes, and hurried off to greet them. If this is how life was going to be from now on, he couldn't really complain. It was better than the dullness that it had been before.
Now if only he could convince Viveka to go home so he could meet his father. That was going to be one hell of mountain to climb.
