Nuri watched silently with panting breath at how Chomo reacted to Ra being placed in his hold. It only seemed right for Ra to see his father right away, instead of being treated to the meal. Life would be hard, and there was no reason to spoil and give false hopes. However, even she was not one to be cruel, and her son was no exception, so of course she let out a soft purr in the direction of the two males.
"Once you are ready, Chomo, you can set him back with me." There was no rush in her voice, only a content sound that showed that she could wait. And wait she did because, before long, the blinding pain was coming back. Soon enough, Ra's younger brother would be on his way, ready to face the same world that Ra was forced into himself.

"Yeah" Chomo chuckled "He's hungry." and with that he picked the boy up with the scruff of his neck and placed him oh-so-carefully down alongside his mother.
He couldn't wait to see any other cubs that chose to make this world their home and kept shooting awed glances at Ra, as if by looking away, the cub would run off or dissapear.
Ra really was hungry and made his way towards food, pausing only when he noticed his mother's form move oddly, as if in pain. He stayed put for a time, simply listening, his eyes no good at detail for now, his mind a jumble of unstructured thoughts. There had been another. Where was he?

Nuri's outlined eyes shut in the contraction of pain, and once more she pushed. Though this time it appeared to be quite easier, for her mind thinned of the pain and time seemed to not slow as it did before. Taking one last deep breath, she opened her eyes to catch the sound of a loud mewing, the second male already set to have his meal now that the warmth had pushed him away.
"I think..." Nuri murmered softly after a moment, "...that is it..." The pain seemed to wane as she felt exaustion move over, and she glanced to Chomo at last to see how he was fairing, his pain being more mental stress than physical like her own.

As the cubs were born, Denahi's interests of the youngsters started to plague his mind. Risking a scolding, the charcoal male lifted himself, standing firmly at the entrance of the cave as his light blue eyes peered into the darkness. There, the former prince saw the original occupants of the cave, as well as two feeding newborns. A small smile graced his lips, just like one had the day he had seen his children.

Chomo was impressed with Nuri's resilience as the second cub was born into the world, this time rather than black accented with crimson, this boy maintained the rich red undercoat the two possessed, accentuated with black like his mother, with a shock of Dark red hair.
Chomo thought both cubs were the most adorable things he had ever laid eyes on and practically glowed with pride to have to do with them. He was mentally stressed out over the ordeal but the sight of the three lives that meant the world to him, safe and well, was enough to warm his heart. He grinned and nuzzled Nuri before sitting back alongside her to watch the two cubs.
"They are beautiful. Born warriors."
His tail swished behind him as he thought momentarily of the graveyard, it seemed so far away, beyond the searing sands. If only there was some way to communicate, he'd be bragging so hard to Ausha, Chomo, trusted enough to be a father! It was something he could only have dreamed of before.

Glancing away from her sons, which seemed a harder task than she could ever imagine, she looked over to where Chomo had lied, a smile across her maw. Moving closer into him despite the gripping of her sons as they moved as well, she just let out a soft purr.
"They have the Blood running through their veins, giving me no doubt that they will live up to their heritage." She mused softly, resting her head on her paws and looking out to where Denahi stood. Rolling her eyes in a playful manor, she felt no energy left to keep her guard up, and she let her tail wave as a sign he could enter. It was than she caught sight of Chomo's wishing smile and his faded gaze.
"Chomo..." She whispered softly up to him, "It is up to us to teach them both of the Blood and of our own past...they must learn everything they can to become what we wish them to be." Soon, she felt them still in their meals and large yawns left their small maws. Lifting both Naraka and Ra, she placed the two small forms in their paws, herself holding Ra as she let Chomo get a chance to meet his youngest son. Her eyes settled on the tired form, she let out a deep purr and pulled Ra close. At that moment, she didn't know if she would be able to let her son out of her sight ever again.
