Sisyphus had no answer to her question; how could he explain that the bits and bruises weren't from one officer, but a gathering from every one he'd ever met? So instead he just watched her, quiet, hands disappearing back into his pockets until she came back with the key. He took it slowly, hesitantly. "What if we need to hide out? Is it okay, then?"

His silence at first made her really want to press for names, so she had specific agents to look out for and repay in kind - whoever it was who had hurt him enough that he did not want to name them. But then she knew he had his reasons - it was quite a change, to be called upon to fight in this weird war, and maybe he needed to be silent about it for now.
But his question made her worry anew. Asclepius frowned with concern. "For how long? I mean, if you need the safe place, then that's fine, I guess. But ... why?"

"I don't know." And he didn't, exactly -- not really. He scratched at the back of his head, trying to come up with an answer that gave her a bit more to go on than that. "I just don't do great when I fight, and there was this girl a while ago, and she was pretty hurt and needed some of the stuff like you have..." And it would have been nice to come hide out for a while. He shrugged, looking up at her. "It's okay. Thanks. I can get out of your hair..."

"Oh, okay." She replied with a return shrug. Asclepius played with a strand of her hair as an awkward silence started to form. Then she added, "Well, I guess if you have one of us who needs the medical help, you can bring them here in an emergency. Just be sure you're not followed?"
The Senshi of Medicine's hazel eyes held slight concern again as she looked back at him. "And you can always call me if you need help, too, don't forget."
Sisyphus seemed unsure, quiet, and awkward, and she hoped she had not made him too uncomfortable. The visit did seem about over, though, and so she moved to the door. She moved the junk blocking it out of the way and unlocked it. Then, bracing herself with one hand against the frame, Asclepius took a deep breath and yanked on the knob. Two more good pulls, and there was a complaint of warped wood, then the door opened rather suddenly.
Once she regained her balance, Asclepius laughed once at herself, and gestured out the doorway for Sisyphus to go first. "Yeah, door still needs work so the window is easier for now...."

Unsurity seemed to be Sisyphus's state of being; he hesitated, offered just a flick of a smile, maybe recognizing the joke in that, and then slipped out past her onto the street -- a hand on his hat to keep it from being swept away. This was a useful place to have access to, a useful hideaway with every supply he could ever need. He paused, on the street, to shrug back at her. "I can manage the window, though my...my uniform might object." His own attempt at a joke. weak. Sisyphus went quiet for a moment, and then waved, regretting even having tried. He'd go, barely even giving her time to reply before he was taking off down the street.
