Yaholo still appeared nervous, but not nearly as bad as he had been a few seconds before. Okay, you dodged an arrow, there, Yaho. She's none the wiser to you having a crush, which was good, spreading that around the village right now would be a bad thing. Your mother would tell everyone and you'd be eternally mortified. Not something you needed right now.
"Aaaah, well..." He sighed, rubbing the back of his head, a blush of his own coursing through his cheeks. "Nothing's wrong, I guess... I... I just don't know what someone else would see in me, besides the hammer...?"
His eyes seemed to widen slightly as Niabi made a slight change in subject. Aw, was she saying she didn't want to fight? He chuckled and moved to place his arm around her in a hug. "Certainly!" He said. "A sweetheart like you will find someone to love in no time! How could anyone resist someone as cute as you?"

Niabi shook her head at Yaholo's comment. This would turn into a pitty fest really soon if things continued to go the way they were going. She smiled at Yaholo and nearly jumped out of her skin when he pulled her in close for a hug. She had to clench her hands just to keep still before she could relax and get used to it.
She laughed at Yaholo. "I'm not sure many other Alkidike would find me... 'cute'." She laughed again at herself. Alkidike women wanted someone brave and strong and like a Sister. Not someone who jumped at her own shadow and didn't want to use a weapon. How was she ever supposed to settle down?
Not that Niabi was anywhere near an age where she would want to settle down, but who knew, right? Eventually Niabi wanted kids. She wanted lots of little ones running around the house, if Aisha would allow it. Though how would Aisha ever allow a wimpy Alkidike to have children? She shook her head quickly to bring her back to real life. Though she wasn't fully out of her own mind yet. "Do you want kids, Yaholo?" Niabi blushed furiously after asking the question, not knowing how Yaholo would take it, but she was curious.

Yaholo gave Niabi quite a look. Oh, come on! She was adorable! How could someone say she was the opposite? From her hair to her feet, she was nothing but cute! He shook his head and fluffed her hair.
"If they make fun of you, they're just jealous of how cute you are." He said, offering her a smile. "Seriously, strength can be many things, and the strength of your cute is enough to melt the coldest of hearts. Don't give up just yet."
His expression took an embarrassed turn at her next question, before her started to laugh. "Yes, actually, I've been thinking about having kids for some time now." He replied. "I've always imagined having a brood of, like, five, following me around and asking me questions about the world. I think it would be fun!"

Niabi's blush was still on her face, but she forced herself to laugh, not quite knowing how to reply to Yaholo's response. Could somebody else really think she was cute? It was a strange idea, but she guessed that Yaholo would be the better judge of that. He had grown up with earthlings so she had to trust that he knew more about how highly they valued strength and what they found cute. Alkidikes were just a small part of the population really, maybe she would have to look elsewhere for acceptance.
Her head snapped back into the world with Yaholo's answer. Really, he wanted children? And had been thinking about it already? It was a shock to Niabi, she wouldn't have guessed that he was already so decisive about it. "I suppose it... would be fun." She smiled at him. Her ears perked up and her antennae twitched at something in the distance. "Oh... my mothers are calling for me." She stood up on the branch that had been supporting them. "I guess... I should go for now Yaholo. You'll have to tell me more about your plans for the future... maybe when I start traveling." She laughed lightly to herself. She didn't know when that would be yet, but she had a feeling it wouldn't be so very far off.
((This is my ending post I guess lol))

Yaholo chuckled as Niabi stood up, taking the chance to stand up alongside her. He really wished he could have more time with Niabi, he never seemed to have any time just to sit and chat with his friends anymore. Maybe if he spent less time traveling on his own and training, he'd have more time to spend with his buddies like this? He stretched and patted Niabi on the shoulder.
"Of course! If there's anything you need to know, just ask me!" He chirped, stepping down from the branch. "Until then, you keep thinking about what you want and what you need out of life, and let me know what you want to do from there. I'll always be here to help you, no matter the need!"
He turned to continue on his way, and paused to wave goodbye.
"Take care! See you soon!" He said.
