Lenore chuckles, and pulls back just enough to nod. "It happens to me all of the time. I have to keep reminding myself that he has a job, and it getting married, and is becming quite the young man. . . ." she sighs. "It does seem like only yesterday that we were bringing him home."

Bedtime thinks, long and hard, about the name. Thinking he is making one up, he shrugs, and smiles sleepily. "Kishi is his name," he replies, mimiching Friend and making Kishi bow to Reine.

"Yes, he has moved in," Bellatrix says, keeping the wicked smile on her lips. "He is mostly in his forge, though. I only see him at night. It works out best that way, I think," she says.

Then, she blinks at the last. Shina. . . . She has heard about her from Nyoka. She seems really . . . nice. And, she couldn't be mean to her, because Nyoka would kill her. And, Nyoka is scarey. "Thank you for the offer, Casala. I might take you up on it, just so I can learn the basics. Now, though, I believe my wings are still too small to support me in the air," she adds.

"Mmhmm," Eirnae agrees, leaning forward to kiss Lenore's lips for a brief moment. She pulls back to glance in the direction of the sitting room, then back to Lenore. Taking one of Lenore's hands in hers, she starts walking at a very slow pace in the direction she glanced in. "He's become a strong boy, in both character and intelligence. He reminds me so much of you, mela. Whenever I look into his eyes, I see your conviction reflected there. I've been thinking about setting up a backpacking trip for him and I... do you think he'd enjoy it?"

Friend straighten Reine up, and makes her Care Bear wave over to the other. Her voice takes on a lower pitch as she talks for her bear, her eyes twinkling merrily at the prospect of Reine now having a friend to play with, too. "Hello, Kishi! My name is Reine, a pleasure to meet you. May we join you inside for tea?"

"I don't believe I've ever seen Signis's forge, Bellatrix. Have you?" Casala asks, then smiling and patting Bellatrix's knee. "Shina told me once that when she was little, she had to use something from inside of her to fly. Some sort of energy that came when she concentrated in the right way. Maybe that's all you need to be able to fly, too?"

Casala's head darts up as she hears footsteps coming their way. "I do believe that Eirnae will be entering the room soon, and likely not alone."

Lenore blinks. She tries to process what Eirnae has just said, as her own thoughts were straying back to the dress that she will hopefully be starting to make soon. "Huh?" she asks, quite articulately.

She then shakes her head as her love leads her back into the sitting room, and is distracted by movement in the sling over her chest. Damn, he isn't dead. . . . On that sour note, she looks back at Eirnae again, and thinks a moment. "I think he would cherish any time that he had with you, to be honest. I don't think he would care if you wanted to take him into a dragon's lair. . . ." she chuckles a little at that thought.

Bedtime blinks, blearily, at the lowering of Friend's voice. Is he supposed to do that too? Well, his sleepy mind is not going to process that. "It is a pleasure to meet you, too, Reine. Yes, you may join me inside for tea," and he sort of makes Kishi do an odd gesture that is supposed to be meant as one of welcome, and to please come in. "You can take a seat anywhere that you wish."

Bellatrix nods. "Yes, I have seen his forge. Rather crowded with weapons," she comments. She then thinks over the words that Casala has said about Shina, her small wings flapping a little. "I don't know. I would rather not come crashing from the sky because my wings are too small to support me," she comments, the small wicked smile on her lips again.

Her ear twitches a little when she hears the footsteps as well. Oh, joy. She had hoped that the introductions would be prolonged. She glances over at the mantel of the fire place, which holds pictures of Lenore's large family. She looks at whom can only be Eirnae, just to get an idea of what she will be faced with when she comes into the room with Lenore and Voldemort.

Lenore's 'Huh' goes without comment, though Eirnae does gain a slight smirk at the sound. The sound of tiny arms on cloth nearly makes her grimace, but she stashes that reaction away for another smile drawn out from her smirk. "I think I'll save the seeking out dragon lairs for after I get more sword training in him. Then we'll see if we can't bring down an old red to enhance the family's wealth with its hoard."

This is quite the new game she and Bedtime have discovered. Stuffies over for tea, how very original! "Thank you very much, Kishi," she has Reine reply with a brief bow, then heading for the room with small steps, trying to make Reine's stubby legs work like hers. It's hard, because Reine legs have no knees. Why did whoever made her Reine not give him knees? She walks Reine in midair past the doorway and into the room, right up to the makeshift table she and Bedtime had made. Forgetting to upkeep her 'manly' voice, Friend squeals, "You kept it!"

"I hope we're not interupting anything," Eirnae calls as she and Lenore step over the boundry between the hall and the sitting room. Her outfit is the newest leathers she's yet designed, and with a bit of magical aid from Calavel, one of the best. It's not the most covering one in the world, but it does show off her tattoos and runes well. She wears no apparent weapons, just a quiver with arrow tips sticking out of it on her back with its strap over her front between her breasts, and a black leather belt with multiple pouches like Casala's.

Casala gets up from her seat with a final pat to Bellatrix's knee, and walks a bit to be between Bellatrix and the others. She stays out of Bellatrix's line of sight as she gestures to Eirnae and Lenore, "Bellatrix, this is Eirnae. Mother, this is Bellatrix."

Eirnae pecks Lenore's cheek as she slips her arm out from around her lover, and takes a step forward to bow her head politely to the seated bellatrix. "A pleasure. I've heard much of you from Casala and Lenore. You've also won over Friend completely by uniting her with Bedtime." Her eyes twinkle as she continues, "She calls him her brother in all ways but adoption."

Lenore's response to what Eirnae has to say is only a small smile, as Voldemort starts wriggling in the sling as soon as they enter the sitting room.

Now, Kishi had every intention of replying to Reine, but he was interrupted by Friend's squeak. So, the little stuffie just sort of hangs in the air, held up by Bedtime's hand.

Bedtime moves sleepy, turquoise eyes over toward the table. Oh, yeah! He nods, scratching his head. "Yes," he replies, holding back another yawn. "For when you came over again. I thought we would use it lots."

Bellatrix spares Lenore the briefest of looks. She finds that her caretaker is giving her a narrowed-eyed look that clearly says she will not tolerate rude behaviour around this Eirnae woman.

The wicked smile comes to her lips again, almost eerie even, when she turns her yellow eyes to study Eirnae. "Well, at least she has a decent fashion sense. . . ." Bellatrix hisses.

Voldemort starts to laugh, a high-pitched sort of sound, with some hissing to it. It makes Lenore cringe, but she narrows her eyes further at Bellatrix. "Well, at least you decided to be rude in a language that Eirnae can't understand!" she hisses back to her.

Lenore then lets out a hiss as Voldemort pulls on her hair, rather vicsiously for one so young as he. Narrowing her eyes, she pulls Voldemort out of the sling, rougher than she had intended to, and strides over to Bellatrix. She deposits the wretched thing in Bellatrix's lap, and meets Voldemort's narrowed, red eyes with her own narrowed amber ones.

Bellatrix bounces Voldemort on her knee, and says, "I would stand and shake your hand, Eirnae, but it seems that I am to be taking care of Voldemort for the time being," she pauses a moment, her smile from before never wavering. "It is a pleasure to meet you, as well."

Although she has a soft spot for Bedtime, she will not admit it readily, so she nods at the comment. "I am glad that I could, in some small measure, please Friend," a lie. Bellatrix doesn't aim to please anyone but herself. "I am afraid that she, however, is doing me the favor. She is keeping Bedtime out of my hair."

She brushes her bi-colored bangs out of her eye, only to have them fall over it again. "Ah, I appologize about being rude before. I know that speaking another language in front of someone who does not understand it is bad form. I am just more comfortable speaking in my native tongue sometimes," the slip causes Bellatrix to pause, and blink once, in something akin to shock. However, she will not think on it now. She has to keep her wits about her with this new woman in her home. So, her smile not faultering, she gestures Eirnae to sit on one of the pillows.

"Oh!" Lenore cries, and rushes from the study when she hears the kettle whistling. "Tea in a tick!" she calls from the kitchen.

Bellatrix holds back the urge to shake her head. Sometimes, she wonders about Lenore. . . .

Bedtime's response earns him a quick hug from a very happy Friend, who kisses his cheek, her aura of friendship turned up to such a high voltage it almost ripples around her in golden waves. "Thank you, very much!" she near sings, dancing over to the table and reaching it before remembering their game. "Yes, thank you," she adds for Reine, her voice lowered again as she sits at the same place she did during her last visit.

The entire exchange is duly noted by an observant Eirnae, who can guess from the body language alone that whatever is being said, it likely isn't pleasantries. When she is addressed, she cants her head a bit to the side, regarding Bellatrix much as the Pae did the elf. "I have taken no offense. I understand what you mean, Bellatrix. I often slip into the use of my native tongue as well, and to some it is as exotic as your own." She isn't sure if she much likes Bellatrix's smile, or the appraising look the teen gets whenever she meets Eirnae's eyes, but she can appreciate the feeling that this is a girl who is driven. She has a goal, and she is striving towards it. That Parseltongue is her native language is a curiousity, but one that Eirnae is willing to save for exploration at a later date.

Casala moves to sit back down next to Bellatrix as Eirnae moves to also sit down on the pillows that Bellatrix gestured to. Eirnae's response to Lenore's sudden flight towards the kitchen is a light chuckle. "My fault for distracting her, really," she admits with a grin. She then turns her attention to Bellatrix, looking down at the young bundle of vileness in the Pae's arms before looking back up again. "I understand that Casala is to start her training today, and that you do not wish me present during her learning your native language. Know that I will step away during the latter willingly. We all have our secrets that should only be shared with those we trust. However, I look forward to looking in on the other lesson."

Casala flushes a bit in the cheeks. She should of warned Bellatrix about how keen her mother's hearing is, though even she forgets from time to time the distance that Eirnae can listen in on conversations. "Mother, did you have to..?

"It was not intentional, Cass," Eirnae reassures her daughter with raised hands, fingers spreads and the palms parallel. "Had I thought you were discussing something secretive, I would have focused my attention inward to not overhear."

Casala trusts Eirnae to her word, but she's not so sure that Bellatrix will, and so she feels she must add, "She's done that before, actually. Turn her senses inward so I could have privacy. She's even done it less than ten feet from me. I don't know how she does it, but she can."

"Mmm," is all Eirnae adds, nodding once.

Bedtime's reflexes are quite slow, but he still manages to give Friend a sort of hug in return. He can feel the waves, barely, but they don't really effect him like they would other pae'il. Besides, he already feels a good dose of frienship toward Friend, anyway.

Blinking slowly, he watches Friend and Reine go over to the table. When he hears Reine saying thank you, he starts to make his way over to the table. He plops down across from Friend, while holding up Kishi. "From both of us, you are very welcome."

Then, Bedtime almost falls over when a loud crack is heard in the room. His eyes widen, and he stares at the table. There is a small tray with two cups full of tea, and some fruit for snacks again. He blinks, and lifts his eyes to stare at Friend.

Bellatrix merely nods to the first bit of Eirnae's conversation, and watches as Casala sits again.

She turns rather cold yellow eyes to look at Eirnae again when she hears the last of the exchange. She glances down at Voldemort, who hisses a few words. She seems to pause for thought, before nodding to him. Apparently, he has given her some sound "advice" - well, as far as advice one as young as he can give. It is apparent, however, that Bellatrix trust Voldemort, and that they have some sort of bond already.

She is not entirely sure whether she believes what Eirnae and Casala have said. Although she trusts Casala, she is also aware that they have a bond. From what she understands, the bond of parent and child can be stronger than any bond of friendship. And, lying to protect one another is not uncommon.

Her smile is a little more forced than before, but that is only for the briefest of moments. "It is quite alright," she says at last. "However, I am not quite sure that you will glean much from this lesson. It takes people a while to learn this . . . technique. And, this is my first brush with being a teacher." She turns her attention back to Casala, then, and adds, "I hope you will bear with me, Casala. I might screw up horribly," something she does not believe, of course. She is perfect, she doens't make mistakes.

It is then that Lenore comes into the room. She pauses a moment at the doorway, and finds that everyone seems to be intact. With a pleased nod, and intentionally avoiding Voldemort's cold gaze, she places the tray of snacks - which consist of cheese and thin crackers - and tea on the table, before settling beside Eirnae.

As she has no idea what has been going on - as she was pointedly ignoring the conversation in the sitting room; only keeping an ear out for shouting - she sits there, waiting for the next bit of it.

Wide eyed and more than a little jittery, Friend looks right back to Bedtime with a question on her lips, but not the courage to voice it, or at least not at first. After opening and closing her mouth a few times, she asks, "What was that? Did Bella bring up stuff with magic? Can Bella do that?" She remembers conversations about someone being able to do wonderous things with something called 'magic', she just can't remember who.

Eirnae is used to that look, though it varies per the inidividual. Bellatrix has just realized that she'll have to be careful about what she says in Eirnae's company, or even when Eirnae is reportedly in the same vincinity. Such a warning is counter productive to the gathering of information, but it's a gesture that Eirnae provides to those who are within the scope of her family and friends. Bellatrix, and Voldemort for that matter, may not much appreciate it now, but she feels Bellatrix is intelligent enough to realize after some time to think that such is an actual courtesy rather than a threat. "I am more here to offer advice, should the need come up, and to answer any questions that you may have, Bellatrix, concerning myself and my side of the family. That I will be observing the tutoring of a technique I have yet to see is just a bonus." She smiles slightly.

Casala's immediate reaction is to Bellatrix's opinion of her skill as a teacher is to shake her head. "I have every confidence in you, Bellatrix. I have yet to see anything you cannot tackle."

Eirnae fills the silence that follows Lenore's entrance by snagging a cracker and outitting it with a slice of cheese. "Bellatrix was just informing us about the lessons she and Cass will be starting soon. I'll be joining them for the session, mela, if just to see how best I can continue Cass's training when Bellatrix isn't available to do so."

"Bellatrix," Casala asks softly, "May I hold the baby? I promise to be very careful."

That earns an arched brow from Eirnae, and a quick incursion of buzzing from Veron as the Mellon rushes into the sitting room from the stairs. Wait... how did that get in here?

Eirnae doesn't say a word, getting the impression from the look on Casala's face that Veron is scolding her enough for the both of them. She chooses instead to munch on her cracker, then pour out some tea for herself before asking, "Would anyone like some tea?"

Bedtime's sleepy brain finally seems to process what has just happened. Settling Kishi in his lap, he shakes his head slowly. "No, Trixie doesn't have magic like that," he says, rubbing his eye. "Mamma does, though. She might have done it?" he offers, and reaches forward to pick up a grape. He takes a small bite out of it, and chews, thoughtfully.

He blinks, then, and says, "How rude! You are supposed to go first! Guests get their food before the host," he nods, patting Kishi on the head. "Thanks, Kishi, for reminding me." He smiles appologetically over at Friend and Reine, and waits for them to get whatever they want.

Bellatrix is about to respond to everything, but Casala's question seems to take her completely off-guard. She blinks a few times, and just studies Casala a moment. Is she serious? She is pretty much the only one that voluntarily holds Voldemort. . . .

She looks down at Voldemort, now, and hisses to him. He kicks his little legs in responce, and Bellatrix is forced to read his facial expression. She nods, and returns her gaze to Casala. She hisses something else to Voldemort - which causes his tail to twitch in agitation - before saying to Casala, "Of course. Voldemort does not seem to mind, in any case." She shifts Voldemort in her arms, and holds him out to Casala. "Just, as he demonstrated before, watch him. He gives signs, although subtle, that he might be thinking of doing something mean. I guess that is lucky for you, because when he gets older, I am sure that there will be no warning. . . ." she smiles slightly.

She glances back at Lenore and Eirnae, watching Lenore a moment as she looks at the steam rising from her cup of tea. "Well, Eirnae," she sarts. "I guess I would take any information about yourself, or your side of the family, that you are willing to share," she replies.

Lenore is now blinking over at Casala. For a moment, the one thought that is circling in her head is clear on her face: I hope that poor darling knows what she is getting herself into. . . . Then, she snaps out of it, and listens to Bellatrix's formal words. Hmm, she had hoped that Bellatrix would be a little more warm toward Eirnae. But, she reminds herself of whom she is thinking. Sighing softly, she runs her finger over the rim of her cup, and glances over at Eirnae. "I haven't the mind for such lessons," she says, smiling a little. "I think I might leave the three of you to it when you start. I'll just check on Friend and Bedtime upstairs, and maybe take a little nap."

Just then, an emerald serpent enters the room. The emerald tree boa pauses at the entry way, examining the new faces, before he slithers over to Bellatrix and Voldemort.

Bellatrix watches him a moment. "Ah, Casala, I am not sure that I have introduced the two of you. . . ." she says, and then looks over at Eirnae. "This is Nyoko. Nyoko, this is Casala," she indicates Casala with her chin, "And this is Eirnae," she adds, indicating Eirnae with the tilt of her head. "Where is Snakey?" she hisses to Nyoko.

"He's outside," Nyoko replies, and looks at the two new people a moment, sniffing at the air with his tongue. "Tell them it is nice meeting them, please, sister."

"Nyoko says it is nice to meet the both of you," Bellatrix translates.

"Miss Nore?" Friend asks. Oh! Yes, that's the one that Nae was talking about who has magic, so it must be true. She blinks when Bedtime corrects himself, and then giggles when he says it was Kishi that reminded him. There is certainly something to be said about the delight of voicing their toys' opinions, yes indeed. "That's alright," she assures him and Kishi, lifting up Reine so he's sitting on the table, supporting his back with one of the extra cups so he can sit up on his own. She twitches one of his paws to the side in what she believes to be a dismissive gesture. "Reine and I agree that it was an easy mistake, and just as easily corrected." She grabs for a handful of grapes and pops one into her mouth, then sets a few in front of Reine. "It's delicous, thank you. Reine thinks so, too."

"Alright, I'll keep a close watch on him," Casala agrees while accepting Voldemort from Bellatrix, settling him in her arms like she saw Bellatrix holding him. She makes a point of looking Voldemort in the eye as she's noticed Lenore avoiding, and Eirnae only doing in her cold 'stare down' fashion. She directs no malice the little one's way, but she also doesn't give any ground. There is power in this small form, as his aura is far too strong for someone so young, but she's letting him know now that she isn't, and will never be, anything less than his equal. "It's good to meet you, Voldemort," she says softly to the child in her arms.

Quelling a shudder, and the urge to rip Voldemort away from Casala to stuff him under a pillow and out of sight, Eirnae sets down her tea as she replies to Bellatrix, "I'll just leave it to names for now, and you can ask whatever questions you like after." She offers up the names of her children, starting with Shina, and includes how to reach them should Bellatrix ever wish to speak with them in person. She pauses to listen to Lenore, nodding. "Understandable, Lenore. We'll likely not travel far, in case you need any of us."

Both Eirnae and Casala's attention shifts upon the entrance of the emerald boa, though for different reasons. Eirnae isn't certain if this snake is a threat at first, and for Casala? She's just curious as to whom Bellatrix's new guest may be.

"A pleasure to meet you, Nyoko," Casala readily offers once she's been introduced to the boa. "Please pardon my barbaric tongue. Hopefully in the future I will be better able to converse with you."

Not about to be rude, even if she's not used to the company, Eirnae dips her head much as she did for Bellatrix. "Indeed, it is a pleasure." She looks over to Bellatrix as she adds, "Please inform your friend that there was a gathering of serpents similiar to its appearance not far from Casala's temple this morning, though it may already know of it."

Bedtime nods to Friend's first question. He watches her with sleepy eyes, his eyelids drooping a little, and blinks once at the paw twitch. He smiles dreamily when she starts to eat the grapes and gives some to Reine.

Kishi is the one to reply, "You're both welcome," he says, through Bedtime. Then, Kishi reminds Bedtime that a good host pours the tea for his guests. He eyes the little pot and the small cups. He then moves slowly to grap the pot. With suprisingly steady hands, he pours the tea. Once the cups are filled, he smiles again, and takes a sip. "Mamma made good tea," he comments.

He then looks down at Kishi. He laughs softly, and says, "Kishi wants to know what Reine likes to do the most? Maybe he will try it, since this is his first day here."

Bellatrix studies Voldemort a moment as he starts to settle in Casala's arms. In a flash, her hand darts out, and she grabs one of his wrists. She holds his wrists even as he hisses in a displeased manner. Voldemort turns narrowed eyes on Bellatrix, but she meets his gaze with equally narrowed eyes.

Finally, she lets go of his wrist, and Voldemort lies there in a huff. He looks up at Casala with angry red eyes. "That is his way of saying that it is nice to meet you, too," Bellatrix says, in a slightly annoyed tone.

Voldemort hisses again, before snorting through his slitted nostrils, his tail swishing behind him in an angry manner.

Lenore glances over at Eirnae, and lifts her brows. Interesting. . . . She then studies Bellatrix, right up until the point that the green pae'il gives her a look that clearly says to find something else to look at.

"It's fine, melamin," Lenore replies to Eirnae. "I think I know where she is taking the two of you. Perhaps she is taking Voldemort with you as well. . . .?" When Bellatrix nods, she can't completely disguise the releif on her face. "I'm sure it will be a productive day."

All through this, Bellatrix has been processing the information. "I have heard of Shina from both Nyoka and Casala," she says, and looks over at the mantle place.

"Silver hair, large white wings, blue rose marking on her cheek" Lenore provides.

Bellatrix nods. "Pretty," is the only comment she makes about Shina.

Nyoko slithers over to wrap around Bellatrix's waist, and hisses something akin to a laugh as he lifts his head to rest on Bellatrix's shoulder. "They are so formal," he comments.

Bellatrix smiles. "They are showing you the respect that you should be demanding," she hisses amusedly.

"Tell them I appreciate their respect, but they don't need to use formalities with me. And, please let the older woman know that, yes, I know of the snakes. That you and I found them while we were walking to Casala's the last time. That's why I left you for most of the day. But, thank her." Nyoko replies. "And, could you please add that I look forward to being able to converse with Casala without a translator."

Bellatrix translates it word for word. She then chuckles, and looks over at Casala. "Nyoko is very confident in you," she says, letting some of her pleasure over that fact show on her face before she hides it again.

Then, she starts. "There is a clearing not far from here. Signis took me to his home, but we are not going to go that far to start learning the process of the flame and the void. It is peaceful, and where I train with both Nyoka and Signis. Now, Casala," she says, turning her full attention to her again. "I must put more emphasis on this. You must not lose heart if you don't get it right away. It takes a lot of practice, and no one gets it the first time that they try this. Signis took months to master it," she doesn't say how short of time that it took her to get it, even though she really wants to brag. It's a sign of her respect to Casala.
PostPosted: Thu Apr 06, 2006 8:43 pm

She nods to the fact, as it most certainly is one due to how delicous she finds the tea after sipping a sample, that Lenore did really well with the tea. How does one judge quality when something is made by magic? Is it held to the same standards as regular stuff you boil on a stove? She remembers to make Reine nod, too, though that's a challenge with one hand busy with the handle of her tea cup and the other with some grapes.

She chews the grapes she just popped into her mouth, swallowing them before replying in Reine's lower voice, "Why, I'm a builder. I make houses for people to live in, and then I build them furniture. Do you have a house, Kishi? If you don't, I could make one for you." She has him point off towards a clump of blocks in the corner of Bedtime's room. "Perfect materials you have around here."

Casala would have chuckled at the exchange between Voldemort and Bellatrix, only because of how their glares at one another were so evenly matched, but she doesn't because of the rudeness of such a thing. After all, whatever Voldemort had been about to do, or not do, had been prevented for a reason, or so her confidence in Bellatrix says. At the feel of his tail swishing against her thigh right where her leather skirt doesn't cover, she rearranges Voldemort to hopefully help him be more comfortable. "It's alright if he doesn't much like me, Bellatrix. He's welcome to his opinion." True, she's guessing at the source of the problem, but she feels it's a fairly accurate one.

Eirnae catches Lenore look, and shoots her a similiar one to confirm that she finds this rather interesting as well. That Casala is willing to put up with the little 'darling' is one thing, but to see Bellatrix defend Casala from whatever the little devil had planned is a welcome turn of events.

Lenore's relief is met by a gentle pat on top of one of her hands by an attentive Eirnae, "You'll be missed, mela, but I'll give you an earful when we return."

Eirnae decides to add a bit more than the utter basics for Shina after Bellatrix's short compliment for her eldest daughter, "She is, at that. She's also the best damn staff fighter I've ever seen. She also has a tendency to seemingly pluck the words from someone's mouth and speak their language fluently from the get-go."

Eirnae keeps her response to Nyoko confined to a bow of her head, but Casala adds in, "Thank you, Nyoko, I hope to prove myself worhy of such confidence." She had caught the shift in Bellatrix's facial features, now knowing Bellatrix long enough to pick up on her friend's subtle shifts in mood. Where Bellatrix is concerned, it's within the little things in which the truth of the matter can be found.

"I don't give up easy," Casala reassures her friend with a slight smile. Anyone who has visited the temple that Casala calls home, or heard the tale of her search for Eirnae when little more than a baby, likely would readily agree with the Pae at this moment. "When did you wish to go?" she asks, rather anxious to get started.

Bedtime blinks away the sleepiness from his eyes, and makes Kishi sit on the table. "That sounds like a good idea, Reine. I don't have a house, and it would be a good learning experience."

"This is still my home, and he will treat my guest with respect," Bellatrix says, and shoots a look at Lenore. "Or, he will find his happy little bottom right back at Lenore's."

Lenore blinks, and actually picks up her tea then. She takes a long drink from it, before setting it back down. "I am sure that the four of you will have fun," she ays in reponse to Eirnae's comment.

Voldemort glares at Bellatrix again over what she has just says, and settles down in Casala's lap. It is obvious that he is not too pleased with Bellatrix at the moment, and it is making him more managable, as he has some pretty mean thoughts he is occupying himself with right now.

Bellatrix returns her attention to Eirnae, and says, "Shina certainly sounds interesting," it is a lie, but a very well-masked lie, as she is, as ever, very skilled in keeping her true feelings from anyone's notice.

Nyoko nudges Casala with his nose, and flicks his tongue out. Bellatrix glances down at him, before looking at Casala once more. "He says he is sure of it," she explains, and then smiles slightly, still in her wicked way, as that seems to be her natural smile. "Whenever you two are ready, we can leave."

"We'll get started once we are finished with our tea and grapes. That is, if you won't mind?" Friend makes Reine say, as if suddenly remembering his manners. It wouldn't do to boss around your host.

Casala shakes her head at all of the fuss. She knows better than to inform Bellatrix that such measures aren't necessary. Already she can tell that the infant she's holding in her arms will not show respect to others without first it being proven that they are strong. She'll just have to exihibit that she is indeed confident, and strong, in the future, not that she ever thought she would be doing the opposite anyway, but that's beside the point.

Eirnae meets Bellatrix's serpentine gaze readily, and lets her smile tell of her pride in her eldest daughter without further words to bore her present company with. She nods once, accknowledging Bellatrix's words, then adds once Bellatrix informs them of what Nyoko said, "Then let's be off."

Casala gets to her feet as Eirnae does, the former holding Voldemort to her tenderly to be certain that she doesn't squish or drop the baby. Eirnae brushes back Lenore's bangs in order to reveal her lover's cheek, which she bends down to fondly kiss before following that up with an equally loving brush of her lips against Lenore's. "We'll be seeing you soon, Lirimaer."

Bedtime nods, and then remembers Kishi is supposed to be talking. He makes the bear do an awkward nod, before Kishi replies, "Yes, whenever you are ready."

Bellatrix nods, and then looks over at Casala. She holds out her hands to take Voldemort. In spite of himself, he reaches toward her, and she gently takes him. She stands awkwardly, and balances Voldemort on her hip.

"Sorry, Casala," she explains. "He's a real pain when we go out. Once we get out there, we can let him wander off and do whatever. Casey will keep an eye on him," she says, smiling ever so slightly.

Lenore smiles, returning the kiss, and then nods. She stands, and heads for the entryway. "You four have fun," she says, before exiting.

Bellatrix bounces Voldemort once on her hip, before saying, "Follow me, if you will," and heading toward the front door.
