Roy's mind may have been racing in other ways, but Tsaphiel was interpreting her differently. He could sense this urge to try flight, but he didn't want to pressure her at all. That was the farthest thing from his personality, but he was seeing a spark from her. Hopefully one day she would be blessed with the action to do so. She'd most likely love it.
"It is definitely scary at first, but then its like, the most amazing thing ever." His grin grew very wide even though it was probably hard to see. "Everything is scary at first try, so don't feel bad for having those feelings." If anything he was hoping to change her mindset so that it wasn't a stressful thing, and move all the negative thoughts away.
"Night is the most beautiful time. Its the only time I am ever out actually, I'm bound to it by duty, but so grateful at the same time. Daytime has never been for me." Most horrible memories happened in the daylight for him. Sure, there was some loneliness that many others would have experienced, but Tsaphiel kept himself entertained by the many he met and helped in the later hours. "It would be a great place to start and try- but when you are ready of course!"
He looked up at the moon and was grateful for some of the pure light that touched the landscape. Sometimes it was so dark he couldn't even talk to others. "So what else do you enjoy, Roy?"

Tweekend Long delay was long XD SORRY~ Roy listened intently to everything the stallion had to say and the honest grin that he gave when talking about flights made him seem to open up and relax…. Perhaps flight was that sort of release that she would enjoy. “Well… I uhm… You see..” What else did she like to do? Like to do? She was just getting to know who she was. She didn’t have a clue about what she liked. “I’m just getting to learn that actually… M-M-My best friend B-Bane… well… she sp-spoke some hard t-truths.” Whether or not there was any truth behind Bane’s words didn’t really matter… She just was tired for feeling like she was a few steps behind everybody else. First thing was first, she needed to figure out how to fly. Her own wings were literally tied. “Would… Would you teach me to fly?” Oh jeez, she didn’t want to bother him wince he was duty bound to… well, whatever it was he was forced to do. “I would like… t-to try… f-freedom.” Yes, that is exactly what flying sounded like. It was questionable how she was going to get out there and try to do something. “I-If it isn’t much of a bother, but if i-it is… y-you could just tell me what you like to do?” She really was beginning to feel more comfortable but that didn’t seem to make her stutter go away at all.

He considered it an honor that she wanted him to teach her. He had a certain patience that allowed him to help others in whatever they needed. He was no expert in flying, but he had enough passion to want to help her try and achieve it, so he was ready for the task. "I would love to teach you. Fair warning- it is something that you will need to practice and get comfortable doing, but I can certainly teach you the basics to get there. Then with practice you will fee freedom, I promise."
He crept closer while surveying the area around them. He supposed the landscape would work as a flat surface, but he was relieved that the night was quiet and that no wind was in the air. They were lucky that even nature was calm enough to allow her a good energy to try something so new and exciting. He hoped he could help her find success in it all.
He then examined her wings, just to make sure. He found no problems upon first glance. "Flying is putting trust in our wings to carry us where we envisions in our minds. So for example, I want to fly by that rock over there." Within a few moments, he lifted gently above the ground and glided to the area he spoke of. He landed quietly and carefully. "Eventually it becomes habitual, but first you must trust your wings. Have you ever tried to lift yourself into the air?" He started flapping his wings so that he hovered gently in the air. "Let me see you try this."
He needed to get a sense on how she communicated with her wings, so he watched her carefully.

Why had she never tried to fly growing up? Why ha she never received lessons? Of her siblings she had the strongest wings, in truth, her sister was completely without flight. The only wings her sister possessed sat by her ears…. The thoughts bounced around in Roy’s mind a bit like a spinning wheel. She was certainly extremely nervous. “I wi-will hold you tt-to that promise.” She was trying to be more comfortable, surely this stallion was going to be about as kind as any that she would ever come upon.
When he scanned around them, the white and bright mare took a moment to do the same but with inexperienced eyes she readlly didn’t see anything particularly suited towards flight. Trusting her wings? Well that made enough sense… One had to know what to do with one’s own body right? I mean, it was odd that she had yet to be able to fly or even bother to try flying.
Casting nervous eyes upon her own wings Roy willed them with all of her might to flap, and screwed her eyes shut tightly hoping that they were doing something. Sure, she had moved her wings all the time, but when had she ever actually asked them to do something? Eyes screwed shut tightly, Roy didn’t really feel the flapping of her wings or that she was no longer using her legs to keep herself upright. She hovered a few inches off of the ground with her face screwed up in concentration and eyes shut tight; oblivious to her success as it were. After a bit she opened her eyes and looked at Tsaphiel…
“D-Did you get shorter? O-r did I g-grow?”

What the mare didn't know was that her mind was the only thing preventing her from any kind of inability to fly. In Tsaphiel's mind, doubt was the worst feeling of them all. In those that he helped he found it the number one reason others expanded to other emotions like sadness and fear. If one could overcome doubt, everything was possible.
Much to his happiness doubt must have been fading away completely, and he watched her try with all of her might, and it was a big success! Her wings were very natural in their movements and as he expected she was a professional without even pushing herself too hard. A huge grin found itself on his face and he watched Roy start to float with ease. She was a natural.
"You are doing it!" He finally exclaimed, while coming closer to her position. "You are in the air! Doesn't it feel great?" He hoped that soon it would be like second nature for her. She could do this from now on and find the freedom they spoke of. He raised himself so he was at the same level as her and helped show how to stabilize their position in air.
"What do you think? How does it feel?"

Roy watched with wide eyes as Tsaphiel rose up into the air just a bit to be eye to eye with her again. “Oh! Oh! We… oh!” She was flying… she was actually flying. She had been wandering from place to place for the last little while and this was something so strange and wonderful. A delighted giggle escaped Roy’s throat as it really was the feeling of having a piece of herself unlocked from a deep dark place.
His praise made a soft blush rise up on her cheeks and Roy didn’t recognize the beginning of a hero-worship feeling rising up in her, but all she knew is that this new friend had given her a precious, precious gift. “This is so wonderful! I never want to ever do anything else again… I .. I… this is..”
Roy, for once, was not stuttering but instead her voice was a bit high and girly with words running together rapidly. The soft blush became a brighter pink with excitement and Roy glanced around curiously, “Can we go somewhere? Oh please, I don’t want to go on my own but if you have things to do then… Oh… I just…” Really, she was a bit of a mess right now, but a joyful one.

Her joy was enough to keep him going through all of the tough times he encountered. It was rare for Tsaphiel to help others in a moment of happiness. As of late he was always helping others who were badly injured, near death or even in deep depression states. His life was not glamorous, but it needed to be done, and he wouldn't change any of it even for moments like this.
He did realize that even he deserved to be around some happiness once in awhile... At her request he bowed lightly. "I don't mind at all. It would be my pleasure actually."
He wondered where they should go. As he considered all of the options around them, he turned to her excitedly. "I knew you would love it! You will be able to see so much more of the world. You won't even believe it."
With that regard, he strode forward a bit in the air. "Follow me, let's practice moving straight ahead. No worries on going up to high yet. Let's just practice some steady flying techniques, and perhaps some speed." Now that would be fun for her! "If you get nervous let me know."

Roy was truly feeling overwhelmed right now in the best of ways, she was flitting back and forth in tiny movements. She really felt like she was capable of exploding from happiness. Roy had yet to discover a true life purpose, but flying was definitely something that would have to become a major part of her. Oh, all the time that had been wasted… at least she had from now on. “Oh thank you, thank you… I.. I w-will g-go wherever you l-lead m-me.” Her flush stayed firmly on her face and the smile was of pure bliss. She definitely was lacking in grace with flying… “I… I want to see everything, do everything, meet everyone…” Oh all the doors that were now opened, so many. “I’m nervous, excited, happy, oh.. I’m every emotion that one person can feel all rolled into one. Oh thank you, thank you!” She watched the couple of steps that he took and tried it herself. It was an unsettling feeling and in reaction her legs flailed as one would if tripping over land. “I have always wanted to dive… are we able to do that? To dive and uhm.. free fall. I mean not first but… I I-I… Oh everything.”

Her thanks were well received by they were not necessary. Today she had taken a leap of faith, and that was enough to make everything feel all the more right in the world. As time would tell, she would experience everything she exclaimed to him with excitement, and the world would be hers to explore and see. She would take flight in her control and he knew she'd handle it all well.
He hoped he didn't pressure her into learning to fly too much but also knew it was all for the better. She would be able to protect herself with these skills as well as enjoy them so he calmed his mind in the fact that it was a smart decision teaching her this all today, before bringing his attention back to her.
"Diving is a bit risky, but it is a lot of fun." He nodded lightly while contemplating the thought. "When you are ready you should dive from a cliff, but let's focus on the basics and fly a bit higher now, if you feel comfortable?" It wasn't that he didn't think she could do it, but diving was a completely different leap of faith. It even took him a few times as a colt before finally going for it, and some cliffs still intimidated him due to their steep and narrow spaces! "If we fly high enough we can search for a cliff, but the rest would be up to you." He chuckled lightly at the thought, and felt a bit nervous too.
