Heidi blinked. How did a girl named Stormy know the woes of being someone who just happened to share a name similar to a popular character or person? Oh. That was how. Heidi looked shocked to say the least. That was not cool. "w*****k?" Her brow furrowed with confusion at that one. What did that even mean? "Man, Stormy. That..wow. People suck, huh? I think you're super pretty, 'kay? Like, even if you were bigger. Pfft. So what? I bet you were super pretty then, too." Heidi smiled. "Besides, if you were Ursula the sea witch you could've turned them into sea weed."

Her smile became a grin when Stormy joked about watching Tuck sleep at night, holding up her hands right under her chin and wiggling her fingers at Stormy. "Maybe I actually am. I'unno, I do like to make sure he's sleeping, so I guess...but I also really like going to sleep when it's dark out and not waking up until the sun is up." Tuck was kind of..

...He woke up when the sun wasn't even up yet.

Who did that?

Heidi would do it with him every now and then but uuuuuugh.

Sherlock and Watson, Will Turner and Jack Sparrow. Nice. "That is so cute!" Heidi giggled, clapping her hands. "That's all so awesome. Lightning reminds me of a character in a video game..can we still play video games on this island? It kinda sucks how much gets taken away from us.." Heidi had priorities.

It was nice to watch Stormy talk about her own boyfriend. The look on her face was absolutely adorable. Was that how she looked talking about Tuck? She felt like it must have been. Even when she was around Tuck she couldn't help but smile.

...Except for that time she found out he wore her favorite and only leggings and ruined them.

Amnesia or not, she was still kind of upset about that.

"Ohhh, English? Neat! His inner kid, though? Ohh, is he the kind of guy who, like, forgets to have fun and act his age? I've seen people like that." It was a shame. A damn shame. If everyone could just remember their inner kid a little more often the world would be a little happier, right? She continued to just listen to Stormy's description of Gale, wishing she could just sit and hold her chin in her hands. This was so cute. She never enjoyed boyfriend talk before, having a boyfriend of her own made all the difference. Though she seemed to take pause when Stormy mentioned horsemen. Tuck had mentioned horsemen once..

Should she...should she tell Tuck about Gale's specialization? Would that be a good idea? Heidi had to force herself not to frown or show concern on her face. On the one hand if she told him he could go off and do something stupid, like..try to get at one. But what if she didn't tell him and he found out and then found out she knew? Would he get upset? Hnnnng. This was hard.

She'd figure it out later.

"Oh..does Nevada sleep a lot?" That seemed like an odd thing to mention.

Stormy waved off the first question since it was neither here nor there. "Technically those poor unfortunate souls were part of the polyp garden, not seaweed," she half-sang. "That's from the original story! Buuuut I get your meaning~ People don't suck, though, or I don't like to think they do. We're just capable of great good and great evil--ignorance is what leads to the latter." Heidi's compliment was overlooked quietly.

She didn't know anything as far as video games, but--"Doesn't look like, unless we like . . . get them super runic'd up," she said after a moment of thought. "Nevada got me a runic dvd player, but she had to get the movies converted too, so I guess it'd really be expensive to get a system and games and controllers and a tv . . . Assuming they'd even let us play video games at all?" And assuming the quality was even good. She still remembered how Gale's copy of Toy Story had been a little fuzzy at times, like it was pirated. Which it probably had been.

"Yeah, he's getting better; not that being serious is bad, I do like that part too, but I'm glad he at least loosens up around me. He also blushes easily," Stormy added with what was almost an impish grin--but surely she wouldn't ever take advantage of that.

She was, however, a little surprised that Heidi didn't know about Nevada. Well, then again, why would she? Nevada was just another mist hunter outside her social group--as much as Stormy thought her bestie special, it didn't mean that same train of thought fell to others. "She and I nap cuddle a lot," Stormy agreed with a nod. "And if she stays in one place too long and it's cozy, she'll fall right asleep; I totally saw it happen once. But, uh . . ." She glanced to the side in the direction of a specific cot. "She's sorta . . . in a deep sleep right now over there. Bad visit to the Haunted Hosue."

"Aww, does he? Poor guy~." Poor in that she could tell just from the look on Stormy's face that she probably made him blush on purpose. She swore Tuck did it. Even if it was just by a mutual agreement of friendship it seemed Stormy and Tuck were very much like siblings. "That sounds really sweet though. Oh! Maybe we could, like, double date or something! That'd be fun, right?" Maybe after Tuck and Evan finally knew who he was.

When the topic moved to Nevada she blinked. Nevada sounded like a narcoleptic.

A deep..sleep...?

Heidi glanced in the direction Stormy was looking with a small frown. Did she mean a coma? Just a coma, right? People could wake up from those. Not death. "I've never been there..what happened?"

"Oooooo~" Heidi might have literally seen stars in her eyes at the idea of a double date. Tuck at least would probably just grouse only a little to see her with a boy; better than Evan, who had been contemplating raising Gale up a flagpole before he even met the guy. "Yes, good, excellent," Stormy agreed with a clap of her hands, immediately regretting the motion as a pang of pain went up her fingers. "Gale's away on a mission like I said, but I'll let you know when he's back. Though we haven't actually gone on a date yet, so maybe the double part'll have to wait some . . ."

She was a little surprised to hear Heidi hadn't gone to the Haunted House, since it seemed like everyone had at some point. "Um, it's a sort of in between place any of us can get to apparently: horsemen, students, hunters, I've heard stories of all sorts. It's got nasty fog and if you go inside the rooms always change each time you go," Stormy explained. "Nevada encountered something that didn't let her pendant out, so . . . You really have to be careful in there. Miss Candace sent a text message to us Mists not to go in alone, so I'm passing that warning to you too."

Even Heidi winced when Stormy clapped her hands. Ouch that had to hurt. She reached out to gently hold Stormy's hands in hers to try and keep her from accidentally doing that again. "Oh, you haven't? Well, you definitely need to do that first then. Tuck and I've had a couple dates..we've got one planned off island. Or. Well. I've got one planned for us, it's my birthday present to him. I'm taking him to Spain." Heidi looked proud when she said this, smiling again. "I originally wanted to go to London, but Tuck mentioned wanting to see Spain once so I looked into that instead." Because she wanted to make him happy. And Spain looked really fun anyway.

Horsemen. Heidi blinked. They could encounter horsemen at the Haunted House? Did...Tuck know that? Maybe she could..go see. For him. It sounded like a weird place if all the rooms changed every time someone went in there. She nodded her head at the warning she was given. "I'll keep that in mind, thanks. So it's really bad, huh? I've been to Halloween a couple times in a golem but everyone I met seemed so...nice." One of them did that to Nevada? Maybe she just hadn't met the 'right' Halloween student.

"Nice"? She tilted her head at Heidi with an odd smile. "They're not all bad, I agree; one of the first ones I met was practically an ally, she healed me when I was almost down and out. And the other was an overgrown puppy!"

But she could still hear that witch's awful cackling in her ears, "whore" still slipping in with accusation. It was what accounted for the oddness to her smile, for normally she could smooth over her problems and slip them under the rug. Switching topics would probably be best.

"Spain?" Stormy perked. "Where to? Do you know Spanish? Do you need some lessons? What plans are you making? Do you need help with those too?" She would have flapped her hands excitedly, but they still echoed with pain from her inattention and so simply wiggled a bit in Heidi's palms.

Heidi did well to hide the slight confusion when she saw that smile. What was that about? "Yeah..you okay, Stormy?" There was obviously something bad on that side, even Tuck had mentioned horsemen once, and he'd been worried when she went over there.

Stormy visibly perked up at the mention of Spain. Okay, she'd stick with that. Heidi wouldn't pry. She smiled. "Yeah, I figured since this is for his birthday I'm going to take him where he wants to go. Uh..I know like...basic stuff? I'm better at French, not fluent, just better. I know like..the numbers...and uh..stuff? I was thinking, since we're going for a weekend, I'd find something for us to do the first day, go to dinner, then we'd do something the second day before we go home. Have you ever been to Spain?" Maybe because she was so excited about it.
