Dani laughed. "A dozen rattata. I like the sound of that. Should we get some zubats as well?" She was definitely up for retaliating against their rival cabin. The brunette was actually surprised that the supposed peace and freedom lovers had attacked first. Well, it made their part that much easier.

"Why not?" Night laughed, "Once those zubat get in and get up in the rafters of the cabins, they'll be nearly impossible to get back out again. So, I guess the next question is who wants to go out and gather the rattata and zubat? We also need to get together everyone who has a digging pokemon. I have two, myself. A Drillbur and Arbok."

Great leader, who will you bless with the role of taking on the Chasing Mice challenge? Who will be humble, and brave enough, to fight for the glory of our father? Anyone brave enough to come forth and volunteer? Perhaps great leader will pick you.

The Drill Cabin's front door would receive several gentle knocks in quick succession. Regardless of who would be sent to answer the door, a surprise laid in store.

Connor would take the box from Allen, shaking the box of coins. "Snag Coins huh?" This must have been their his spending money for Drill Cabin. Whatever he bought, it'd have to be need... "Alright...so which of you is volunteering to gather the vermin? Or do I have to choose?" he asked those gathered around. He was then reminded of their first official challenge against Free Cabin but was still debating on a who would do the event. Maybe he'd send whoever asked first, who knew? At the knock, he'd look to Dani and motion for her to get the door.

"We seem to have plenty of ground pokemon available, which'll be useful against the little guy, at least." She toyed with one of the balls at her waist, the one that held her Phanpy. "I'll go if no one else jumps for it."
The brunette nodded at the command and went to answer the door, readying a fist. If it was another attack....

Behind the door was Keiko Yuniko Toumei, of Free Cabin. "Hello," she said in the most upbeat tone she could muster despite being too stressed out to flinch at the fist pointed at her. "I would like to talk to your cabin's leader about the unsolicited attack on your cabin last night."

"Hmph." Dani smirked, stepping back and pulling the door wide for her comrades to see the visitor. "Well well well....looks like we got us a backpedaler."

"Looks to me like someone isn't in full control of it's members," Night said, standing close behind Dani, "Regardless of whether or not it was solicited, an attack is an attack. If your leader would have had better control of the one who led the attack on us, we wouldn't be having this conversation."

Reno looked out from behind Keiko, doing his best to disguise being the assailant. "I wouldn't mock the leader, in front of the leader." Reno half mocked, palming a Pokeball behind his back just in case someone decided to attack the delegation.

Lykas stood behind Reno with a look of both expectation and annoyance on his face. The annoyance aimed entirely at this situation arising out of Reno's usual cockiness and rash decisions.
"I wouldn't be mocking her either, she might not like that." He voiced, agreeing with Reno for once. "Besides, the numbskull that attacked is still learning what democracy is. He's following a creed we don't agree with and we're trying to stamp it out of him." He explained as he looked to Keiko. The next thing to come out of his mouth was a surprise, even for him. "There will be no further attacks on your cabin so long as you are willing to make a truce with us." He offered.
He knew it was a gamble but if they went for it, they'd be good to go. If no one wanted to break the truce then it would be a peaceful camping adventure and if they did, the very gates of Hell would open upon the cabin to break it. He really hoped they'd go for it.

Keiko chanced a thankful glance at Lykas, as his retort to Reno kept her from prematurely shouting at him. She had one prepared, too, but this wasn't the place. Regardless, she didn't want to play her hand by offering a truce before she had a chance to even speak to the leader of Drill Camp. She wasn't upset at Lykas, though, because his heart was in the right place. Which was more than she could say for some people.
"If Reno had bothered saying anything to ANYONE prior, I assure you that this wouldn't have happened," Keiko explained to Night. "But he didn't even bother showing up at Free Camp until after the fact. Look, I don't intend to make any assumptions about Drill Cabin's intentions. My only wish is to bring the real culprit before your leader. If you won't call for him, would you at least take us to him?"
Keiko's hand immediately shot for Reno's, locking his wrist in a deathgrip. Spending years making deliveries on foot with no Pokemon did wonders for her hand, arm, and leg muscles, so Reno would be hard-pressed to escape. She was actually grateful he was here - should the Commander demand Reno for a prisoner like Keiko suspected, Reno's presence here would bypass the need to hunt him down, saving on time and butthurt. But she also expected Reno to bail after what she just said, and she couldn't have that. Reno was in trouble big time, and she would make sure he suffered the consequences at all costs.

Connor stepped forward with a sigh, shaking his head when he looked to Reno and then Keiko. "You're the leader of Free Cabin?" he asked the girl. No wonder her members did as they pleased. She certainly didn't seem like the leader type. "If your looking for the Commander, you're looking at him. So, this the guy who threw a Kakuna threw my window?...What? Are you just gonna turn him over, just like that?" the teen raised a brow, skeptical of the action. He couldn't help but think there was ulterior motives at play but maybe that was his lack of trust talking. But he'd still be willing to hear what they had to say.

Without another word, Night graciously stepped aside as she felt the presence of Connor approaching. Crossing her arms across her chest, the young fox remained leaning against the door frame as she watched the interactions between the two leaders and hoping against all that he was not about to agree to this truce crap.
At least not before they got a chance to retaliate and reclaim their honor.

"By the way, I want you to enter the challenge" he told Night, handing her 8 Snag Coins. "Buy what you need with that." He'd leave her to choose which pokeball she wanted for the challenge.
