(Bah! It would be good for her to get upset over that. She'd really see how silly she's being. xD )
Switch frowned a little as she considered Mariette's suggestion. If Carwyn approached the girl and her temporary guardian about the farfetch'd's situation, he might be able to explain everything to them. They (especially Theo, and the houndoom accompanying her) would then accept her. But how and where would she live? She had a feeling she could no longer perch in a tree comfortably, nor do many other things she had once taken for granted as a pokémon. "I think that would be a good idea," she nodded. "But I wonder if I should go with him when he explains it to them?"
How to explain that Rocío was not actually her trainer? It was complicated, or at least more complicated than many human and pokémon relationships. Yes, she did things for the human, but she was still wild. It just wasn't the same. She would have to figure out how to explain everything to Mariette eventually, about her family and her "trainer," without her worrying too much on Switch's behalf. Right now, Mariette was well on her way to becoming much more than an acquaintance. A friend, family, a confidant. She deserved to know at least enough to understand, and more so, she would want to know no matter how it upset her. "A... sister? I would like that very much."
She watched for Mariette's reactions when she touched first the mandible then her lower lip. The mandible gave very little reaction, so perhaps it really was like a bird's beak. But from her lips, a gasp. Switch's chuckle became a big, toothy grin. She couldn't help but feel a bit of pride after showing something to Mariette she did not yet know about herself. These little games of discovery could be fun.
Her smile faded in awe however as she watched Mariette's mandibles open. Instead of moving vertically, they moved horizontally, but it certainly was familiar. They also reminded her of arms opening wide for a hug. Then Mariette leaned closer and kissed her mouth. The warmth that ran through her body only furthered the feeling of comfort and family. She hugged Mariette a little more tightly. "How do you feel?"
(Teeth on a duck! She has now joined the ranks of Daffy, Donald, and Darkwing. xP ... but she's the only one with an S-name. Always the oddball!
Mariette has beginner's luck! It's usually spot-on. Duplicating it is nearly impossible sometimes though. XD )

(Well if she did then maybe she would get the upset look down XP) Mariette was surprisingly excited that Switch would be coming to stay with her. She did not know how long but that did not really matter. And she knew that Carwyn would be glad to help talk to her trainer for the newly changed farfetch'd "Of c…course you should go with him. He could talk f..first and help explain what happened." She said gently.
Mariette never knew any of her own siblings, she was sure she had some somewhere. But she was so very glad that She had one now. What could be closer than having a sister? Family was the closest thing someone could have so with Switch as her sister she would never be alone or want for someone to be there for her. She would be there for the other girl as well. She would do anything she could to help Switch out, to make her feel loved and wanted, even if that would mean someday soon she would no longer be living with her.
The chuckle and grin from Switch as she tapped her lip had caused Mariette heart two skip a bit it was one that would have brought a smile to her face if she could work out how to smile, though the corners of her lips tried to turn up. Her back was beaming and blushing brightly however. Switch was so very cool. She seemed to be getting so used to her own body and again left the little Spinarak in awe.
Mariette had not seen the smile fade to awe as she had moved in to kiss her friend. Her eyes had closed and the warm large winged like arms pulled her in closer she lowered her head to the fluffy feathered and jacketed chest. Kisses might feel great but so did these warm hugs. The feathers tickled her new skin and brought warmth that the partly cold blooded body really needed and was drawn too. She put more of her weight than she intended too against the larger girl. She fell forward against her completely off balanced in her new body. But giggled. "I..I..feel so much better sister Switch!" She would be smiling brightly if she could but only the solid black eyes could attempt showing such emotions.(She truly is a bit of a rebel she would fall in with those D names! She might have teeth now but never shall she bare the D XP That is a very good point. Embrace that luck wail you have it Mariette!)

"You're right. It would be strange if I didn't come too." This was no time to hide from the human in fear. She was all about facing her fears, and this human should never be one of them. Theo had always been her friend through thick and thin. It might just take a while for her to understand the farfetch'd child's new situation. It would take Switch and Mariette some time to understand, too! "Maybe if he spoke first," she nodded in agreement. If he had once found a star like they had, he would know how to explain it best, at least most of it.
"But first, I should tell you both more about me. I think I've said some confusing things to you. I've been thinking about that, and if you're going to be my family, I should try to make you both understand. It's just... hard to say it." There. She had said it, said that Mariette needed to know more. It was so important that she had to point it out that plainly. She had a feeling that for the next few days, she was going to have to say more than she had in her whole life. It was becoming more and more obvious that she wasn't good at explaining herself about anything. The most people usually heard from her mouth was when she was asking questions.
"Woah!" If she had not been holding Mariette so closely when the spinarak girl lost her balance, they probably would have taken a tumble to the ground. As it was, her knees, backwards as they were now, buckled and she stumbled a bit. But Mariette was so happy that she couldn't help but laugh herself. "Good, I'm glad." Once she got them straightened up, she added, "I do too."
Switch glanced around them and remembered the wagon. They could resume their search: while looking for Mariette's nesting material, maybe Switch could find something else that Theo might like. "Would you like to look for more fun things for your nest?" Her grin flashed to a frown as something occured to her. "Oh, but, how long were we asleep? Do you think Carwyn will be worried about you?"

Was it wrong that even as Switch stumbled a bit and nearly fell with both of them the simple action of Switch was still holding her and trying to keep them safe meant so much. Maybe everything would really end up alright. This was almost fun. But then again as soon as she started to embrace the fun it ended. They were righted again and Switch was focusing on the wagon and that they should do something else. She stepped back from the warmth her long hair covering the top of her body if nothing else. "If it is h...hard for you to talk a..about it then.." she looked at the wagon not the other next to her. "You don't have to tell me....I..I will like Switch...n..No mater what." She felt that this was very true. There was things in the past she knew but that did not mean they could not go smoothly into the future.
It was a good thing that both of them felt good now. She hoped they could continue to feel good as their relationship continued on. "You are...so strong Switch. You k...kept us both up and safe...Oh w....we can keep looking." she stopped and thought looking up at the sky. She was still in awe that she could look up. She rubbed her eyes with one hand, "O...Oh yes we fell asleep. I...it looks like it is late...m..maybe we should go home...b..but you have nothing for your Theo..." she said softly.

Switch looked back at Mariette, who was now staring intently at the wagon while she spoke. She seemed very determined, certain that whatever Switch had to say she would accept. It brought a strong upwelling of relief and heat all at once and she found herself biting her lower lip to suppress any accompanying tears. “Ah,” was all she could manage for a moment, but tried again: “It is. Difficult. Maybe, maybe I will tell you when there aren’t so many things happening at once,” she offered. She still felt like she needed to share at least a little bit of it, even if it was most certainly something she would rather not talk about. But maybe now her story would be too difficult to handle for either of them.
For now, the wagon would be best to focus on. Focus on pleasant things. For example, it was pleasant to know that Mariette appreciated Switch’s efforts to keep them from falling. Of course, she wasn’t sure how to reply. “Oh. Well. I tried really hard,” she managed, lamely.
She followed the spinarak’s gaze upward, then back down again. Oh, could Mariette look up like that before? Could she feel the change in her movements, how graceful they were now? Did it feel subtly different, or was it very strange to her? Mariette’s manner had been subdued, even shy, up until now. And she seemed upset when Switch mentioned their changes. Or maybe she wasn’t upset at all. That was possible, too.
Switch assessed the wagon’s contents. Mariette was right: she no longer had anything for Rocío. But did they have enough things yet for Mariette’s nest? “Hm. Was there anything else around here you still wanted to look at? We could give it another look before going back, if you want.”

Switch's hesitation to talk about her past but the need to address it was not fully lost on the Spinarak. She could hear the way her friend's voice was strained. And she stepped over to gently place a cool hand along Switch soft warm cheek, "When you are r...ready to speak about it, w..when we have less to deal with, I w...will listen and I will be there for you Switch." she tried to say it as evenly as she could wanting to show the other girl she meant it.
She would let the mater go for now knowing and agreeing that it was not the best time to talk about it. But it was important to Switch so she would talk to her about it when the Farfetch'd deemed it right. She let her hand fall back down and turned back to the wagon.
The wagon did seem so empty now. It really was a pity they did not have the ordainments any more. But if it was really that late maybe they should head back to her place. Maybe there was something in her nest that Switch could take to her human friend. This eyes brought a small smile to Mariette's back. She turned her whole body to look at Switch this time instead of just turning her head. The corners of her mouth under her mandibles twitched a bit, "We c...can look around a...again, if you think we should. B...but when we get...back to my n..nest...maybe w..we can find something t..to give your friend...from my c..collection." she offered softly.
As a cool burst of wind blew Mariette's solid eyes widened ever so slightly and her body shivered the softer skin now raising up in goose bumps. She had never felt her body shiver before and she gasped lifting her first pair of some up to look at the small bumps her second pair moving to rub them. She did not know if she liked this new feeling or not. "M...maybe we should go h..home. Come back...a bit later?"
