Bari was running so fast that she didn't look where see was going. She ran right into the light blue lioness. He fell backward knocking off Cari. She look up at the lioness and then look back down. "S-sorry for running into you. It really hard to see where i'm going sometimes. I hope I didn't hurt you." She got back up. She pick up Cari and put her back on to her back and look back at the blue lioness. "Ummm D-do you need any h-help?" She said scarey. This avalanche was really getting to her.
Cari look up and right when she did Bari crash into someone. "Ahhhh!" She said as she fell off. "ComeonBair! It no time to no paying attention! We gonna get to that cave and fast!" She said as her foot twitch. Bari pick her up and he plop down onto Bari back. She heard what Bari said and added on, "Yeah we can help. But I'm not sure if there anything to do but run!"

Upelezi's fear started to grow as the sound got louder. He wasn't sure what is was or where to go. What do you do when there is a hidden danger, or maybe not even a danger at. Looking around he noticed a few others running. There was clearly danger present but how should he act. He was a hyena and he had to at least pretend to be fearless.
As he was just thinking about running away from the on coming crowd and the unknown impeding catastrophe that is when he caught sight of it. The mountains snowy fury was heading straight for them. As Upelezi was staring terrified at the disaster roaring towards him a small rabbit comes hopping up with gentle face and a helpful look in her eye. He was in too much fear at the moment for his hunting instincts to kick in. He had no desire at the very moment to attack but to follow the beckoning rabbit towards safety. Instead of saying anything he just nodded obediently and headed towards the the cave following closely behind her.

Nquma was not a Goddess of avalanches, she was a Goddess of glaciers- there wasn't a whole lot she could do against a natural disaster of this extent. But that didn't mean she wasn't going to try and help, especially when she had the advantage of flight when so many others didn't. In the sky, she could see the snow was progressing rapidly down the mountains, and that there were several animals down below who needed to make it some place safe if they were going to make it through. But what were so many lions doing in the snow? She normally did not have company, but it seemed like a whole pride had moved in! Why?! She was horrible with company! Quickly, she flew down, landing easily though she had no wings to guide her around with. As a goddess, she didn't need them. Normally, she would have hid her presence and looked like just another lion, but she couldn't knowing so many needed help. There wasn't time to think about her own fears. "Hurry everyone," she called, hoping her weak voice would carry when she needed it to, "find a safe cave to hide in! I'll help those I can! Are there cubs?! Cubs may climb on my back and I'll fly them above the coming snow!" She was glad her family and her isidomu were safe at home- the avalanche would not get to them where she made her nest.

It took a few seconds before Urza noticed the hare near him. He had been busy trying to keep lions, and other species safe. Getting them out of the way of the avalanche was what his goal was. It didn't matter if they were hyenas, cheetahs, leopards, or even waterbucks. "Quick, help direct anyone new to the caves, if you can!" He said the the hare. It'd get him into safety, and help those who didn't know what was going on. "Keep them as calm as you can, and don't come out until I come back!" So many things to do, so little time, and there was only one of him. He tried directing everyone he could see to the far caves but time was running out. He could tell he was going to have to gather up a search party. Even if all of his pride members were safe, there were quite a few outsiders that had come towards the noises. Stupid, stupid stupid. Was all that he could think. Natintrapa came late to the party. She was swollen from pregnancy and probably should have stayed where she was. But with all the commotion, she had thought it was good to check what was going on. She felt it was her duty to help in anyway possible. Everyone was frantic, and it took her a moment or two to realize EXACTLY what was going on. Fear rushed through her, but she had no moment to spare. She tried to shake it to move. To do something. Finally, she decided to help lead everyone she could to the cave, after seeing that was where they were suppose to go. Urza was going to flip if he noticed her, so she tried to stay clear of his view. ______________________________ Lisimba was crying and alone with Riikano. They had been separated from her family, and she was now in the middle of everything. Lions, cheetahs, and some k-9 she didn't know what they were, were all around her, yet she didn't know what to do. All she could think of was to sit there in one spot and hope someone noticed her.
Everyone was running around, she had no clue what was going on. Other than something bad was happening. She thought she had heard Avalanche being yelled several times, but it was unclear and it seemed everyone was yelling. She couldn't make out any of it. Riikano was clung tightly to her neck, also in tears. He wasn't sure what to do either. He had buried his face into her fur and didn't want to look. Every time he glanced up, he swore he saw someone die. Of course, that wasn't true, but with so much chaos, he wasn't sure what to expect.

Kirala hurried for safety, Upelezi in tow. Somewhere along the way she noticed a second hyena. Struggling to keep up, not surprisingly. This cold was brutal on the paws! "Go on that way," she shouted to Upelezi. "Up ahead!" Then she hurried to Waasi, staying out of snapping range same as last time. "You have to hurry! Come on! You can do it! Hurry, dear! You have to follow me!"
She didn't want to leave him, but if the wave of snow got much closer, she would be forced to retreat back to the caves and hope for the best.
----
Luck just wasn't on Korini's side today. A lioness barreling toward you was hard to miss, so she managed to brace herself before Bari ran into her. She made a snap decision this clumsy stranger would do more harm than good trying to "help" the situation. "If you want to help, just head for the caves!"
After surveying the scene once more, her attention was drawn to Lisimba. There were still adults in need of assitance, but the youth had to come first. They were helpless. Korini ran to her, shouting at Nquma, "There's a cub over here! Come help me with her!"
---
Bisra had heard the king's orders, but he didn't heed them. This was not a tale passed down from his elders wherein every single hare somehow found the courage to be a hero. This was real life. This was an avalanche. He ran into the caves, found a designated safe spot, and cowered there.

Bari look at her with her tail between her legs and stare up at her. "Y-yes mam! Sorry Mam!" she said in a quiet voice. Everything scare the mess out of her. So this wasn't very good for her at all. She didn't mean to cause any trouble but to help. She guess she couldn't do anything right after all. She got up and started to run to the cave again.
Cari not to please with how the other lioness snap at Bari but she had more thing to worry about then just that. She could tell that Bari was feeling down and Cari could also tell that her twitch was messing up to. She lower her self close to Bari Back and Said "It okay! She just scare like the rest of us! We just have to run to those cave you hear me. Just keep moving."

Nquma heard Korini yelling, and responded quickly, rushing towards the cub the lioness was also on her way to. If only she were bigger! then she might be able to carry some of the adults, too. but she was only so big, and even if she did stand taller than any male lion, she could only hold so much. if she could find cubs and small animals that needed help, then she could be useful. That was all she wanted- to help where and when she could. She stopped in front of Riikano and Lisimba, looking at the cub with a gentle, motherly sort of expression. This poor thing was probably so scared- so many of them were as adults. But to go through this as a cub? It was so rough. "It's going to be okay," she offered softly, trying not to let her own fear slip into her tone, "would you like to ride on my back? I can fly- I am a Goddess! I will help keep you safe." She didn't know the first thing about comforting scared cubs, so she could only hope she wasn't making things worse.

It happened so fast, one moment no one was there, the next a very blue lioness was in front of her. She didn't quite hear everything, the moment the other said she was going to be okay, she nodded. She wanted her parents, but all she could do was sob uncontrollably and nod at the goddess.
"I want my Mommy!" She said finally, struggling a bit to make it clear enough to hear between sobs.Riikano, on the other hand, had popped his head up and was already making his way towards climbing up the lioness. His sobbing had stopped the moment he realized they were gonna be saved. He didn't wait for another okay to climb up on her. He was ready to leave. "Save us, oh big one!" He said as he put a paw upon the lioness leg from atop Lisimba's head.

Bari look up to see why the little cub was crying, then she saw it. A lion flying in the air. She almost stop running to stare at the crazy thing. But she did not. She ran over to the little cub, It was her job after all. She was a nanny and she would fail if she didn't help the cub. She ran to the little cub and nub her to the flying lioness. "Go little one. She seem nice and she will help you fine your Mommy from the sky and you will be safe up there." He spoke with a kind voice.
Cari heard the cub crying and tug on Bari back to go get her, the thing is she did not hear the other lioness untill she saw it flying in the air. It made her twitch. It was a scary thing to see. But it was her job and Bari to help the cubins. She was glad when Bari went over there. She agreed with what Bari said and added "Yes little one. Go and be safe."

As time seemed to feel like it had stopped, it hadn't. The Avalanche was now upon the pride with full force. snow, rocks, and anything else it managed to snag on it's way down. Most seemed to get out of it, but there were a few who managed to get caught by the snow through the chaos of everything else that was happening. As loud as it was, it was now silent as everything seemed to be at a stand still. Still morning, only minutes past, when it felt like hours.
(You may make your final posts, but anything past this won't count towards the raffle for the cub as I'll roll that momentarily, but you're welcome to finish up your replies. :3 In a day or two, the second part will start =D
Thank you everyone, you've made this awesome. @o@)

Waasi tried to follow the rabbit, he really did. But it was hard going. He panted as he heaved his way through the snow, hearing the roar of the avalanche close in. He turned to look to his side, spotting the wall of snow grow larger and larger, and tried once more to heave himself out of the deep snow and to safety.
It didn't work. He sunk even deeper, his elbows now buried, and he gave up the struggle. Instead he hunkered down, anticipating the blow, and then...
Black. You wouldn't expect snow to be black, but there was nothing to see. He felt himself tumble head over paws, moving with the snow, rolling and spinning and speeding away, away...

Endzela was glad when the first creatures started trickling into the caves, then upping the pace as the wall of snow was getting closer. She tried her best to calm her nerves and act basically as a living marker for anyone who may have been disoriented by the bright snow.
She was feeling pretty confident that everyone would get inside, pride member and stranger alike. Time was ticking away but there was no stopping them. Little did she notice that she had been gradually moving away from safety, since she was so focused on her self-appointed task.
Then the avalanche finally struck and Endzela knew nothing at all.
