Amrita cleared her throat, and made a point to make it obvious she was doing so. If there was going to be any under clothing searches for demon marks, she certainly wouldn't let it happen in her room. Not that she particularly cared about the body aspect of it, she just knew that it was something you shouldn't do. According to Lizzy's Life Lessons, anyway.
"Well...I guess if it was Thack, he's harmless..." Amrita sounded unsure; Demon contracts put her on edge...but that may have been a left over lesson from Lizzy, too. The Demoness took great pains to take her under her wing. "If you wanted a ring I think you could raid Aymet or Merope's rooms while they're gone...they hoard like mad, I'm sure they'd have something, and they'd probably wouldn't even notice it was missing."
Suddenly, Sammy's finger was dangerously close to her nose, and if Amrita had two eyes they would have crossed just trying to look at it. "It was...uh...Well I had fun, but...if you want me to be honest, it was really stressful. And kind of lonely...but I guess that's expected, right? Running it and all." She looked thoughtfully down at her knees, absently fidgeting with a frayed end of her blanket. Siddie's question brought her attention back to her room, and after focusing on the ghoul for a moment her gaze moved behind them to the desk, where a framed photo sat.
"The picture's there if you wanna see! We took a group shot, trying to be serious..ahaha. I will probably never wear that again, it was so...revealing." What was left of her face scrunched up, recalling the look she had gotten from Lou especially, and then again from--- "Oh. Hey. Did either of you see Calder at Prom?"

"Whaaaaaat don't you both go giving me that look. I have some manners, I'll wait till I get her back to my room before we check." She waved a bone hand in the air, "Why I'd think you both thought I was a pervert or something jeeeeeez." She smirked and eventually just laughed at them both. It was so true.
"Thack's a sweet heart, have you seen him around a Kitsune? He practically melts into a puddle and even around people dating or in love. He's more like a fluffy cupid then a guard dog of hell."
Turning back to Amrita though she listened to her explain prom, "Well working it must be a stress but I mean you had to have some fun right?" She looked at the photo letting out a delighted cackle, "Oh Ammi! So suggestive for once!" She paused though shaking her head, "Naw I haven't seen ol Seaweed in ages, he's been with Barth right? I figure they probably just sat in a corner while he climbed all over the poor Demon."

"I don't think you're a pervert," Siddie replied, primly but with an undercurrent of laughter lurking in her tone. "I know you're a pervert." She gave Amrita a soft smile. "Don't worry about the ring! We'll pick our own when we have a chance. I think it should be something special, don't you?" "It was a lovely dress, though. Even if it was - uh - bold," Siddie decided on. She tilted her head slightly at the look on Amrita's face. Something was wrong, maybe something more than Amrita's discomfort with the revealing nature of her dress. Calder? "No, we never ran into him," she confirmed. "I haven't seen him for some time."

Sadly, Amrita was more surprised by Sammy's apparent perversion than Siddie was, and her baffled look remained unchanged for a moment or two longer.
"Bold is a good word for it...but I think I'm gonna personally label it Never-Again." Amrita chuckled softly, lightly rubbing the back of her aching neck. Neither ghoul seemed to have spoken with Calder at Prom, and that just made her all the more uncomfortable. Should she bring it up? She didn't want to put him in a bad light, even if he was acting strange.
"Actually I think he spent more time away from Barth." She mused, trying to recall seeing Calder with the Demon at all. Nothing seemed to come to mind, but then again...after their less-than-comfortable interaction, she had mostly avoided him all night. "He was acting really weird. Like...grabby. The bad kind of grabby? He kept twisting my words too, and I don't think he was doing it to tease me. He like...lost his mind-to-mouth filter or something. We actually got into a bit of a fight, but...I think something's really wrong with him." Amrita didn't want to admit that she had been too upset to try and fix it, or that she had run away as fast as she could and ignored the rest. She wanted desperately to hug her knees. Curling into a ball had turned into an entirely too common thing for her, and with her injuries she was unable to. Instead she continued to fidget with the blanket, unhappily scrunching up what was left of her face as she revisited that night's conversation.
"Christof said something about losing his mind? I don't know. It's kind of scary, though...and not in the good way." She managed a shrug, looking between the ghouls again. "So...if you do see him again, be careful?"

"Oopse is the secret out then? Well just remember I know where you sleep Siddie~" She couldn't help but snicker and laugh ultimately at the whole thing. Siddie was the best. Amrita's face only made Sammy laugh all the more. Yes, your hero was a terrible naughty person!
"Seriously, I have a plan, some day, an idea at least, just need to get everything else sorted you know? Graduation and all the stuff. Plus a place to go when we get out of here. Less we just keep bumming the dorms like the other Alumni have done."
Looking back at the photo she shrugged, "You could so wear it again Ammi, nothing to be ashamed of. I mean. Siddie got me to dress nice in public again. Doesn't hurt to change it up a bit now and again."
Sitting back she listened to the story about Calder, the once completely joyful look on her face souring to something more like disbelief and disappointment. "What did he do? Or say? I mean, he's a bit of a block head but he isn't exactly mean really. And besides he was like, obsessed with Barth, he was just as upset as I was at the whole arranged thing too so why would he suddenly be... bailing on Barth?"

Siddie watched Amrita's face closely, her mouth pulling down into a worried frown as she listened to what Amrita was saying about Calder. "That ... doesn't sound like Calder," she said slowly. But Amrita had no reason to lie to them; had it been some kind of strange misunderstanding, or had Calder really been creepy? "Did something happen to him?" She looked to Sammy, worried. "We should check on them."
Amrita looked really uncomfortable, Siddie hesitated, then leaned over to touch the other ghoul's shoulder delicately, mindful of her discomfort. "Are you okay?" she asked.
