So, I still haven't sat down and actually WRITTEN anything, but I have still been creating quite a bit! I've got a show coming up next month, and then another after that, so costume designing has taken up a lot of my time. I've FINALLY got the perfect idea for a bunch of sheer purple fabric that I've got sitting around to re-vamp an old act, and I have an awesome act idea that boy...friend-thing-we're-note-using-labels-dude actually suggested! Hint: it's star wars related! biggrin

I also was at a creative meet up earlier today and chatted with someone who runs a couple podcasts regularly. I'm going to chat with him more about starting my own burlesque news podcast and blog!

Finally: Thing on my head is stupid easy to do, except I don't know where to PUT it. Tumblr, maybe? I dunno...

And in real life, I really, really, really need to find another job. If I'm reading between the lines right, things might not work out so awesome with the roommate. If nothing else, I'm getting really, really sick of telling him to rinse out his cider jugs when he's done so that they don't attract fruit flies. :/ If I could afford it, I'd move out right now.
Anyway, that's my life. Hopefully next week I'll be telling you all about how I have a new job or something. (yeah right) lol

K, so, sorry for being late as balls, but s**t got real last week. It looks like it might be looking up though, because I have a friend (a fellow burlesque dancer) who is opening up her own shop in town who said she would like to sell my rhinestone products at her store after she won a pair I made for a contest last saturday (that I was performing in at the last minute, hence s**t getting crazy).

I'm also looking into drafting a business plan to open my own online blingy craft store like rhinestonebiz.com, but I also want to offer at least one more thing (other than cheaper shipping in canada) to make it different....Not sure what other RELATED thing I could offer besides stones and beads, but I'll think of something! If my market is going to be crafters and burlesque/drag performers, I'm sure I can think of something else that overlaps. Pasty tape? pre-made fringe? Sequins?--

Holyshit, that's it; Costuming s**t. Sequins, fringe, pre-made beaded fringe and possibly feathers and feather fringe. That's the market I'm ultimately after, right? If I can offer product that is cheaper than fancyfeather.com but not complete s**t, I'll offer that too, but if not I'll leave feathers alone.

What do you guys think??? biggrin

Also in my weekly thing, I've just started full
time at a before/after/kindergarten program
though the YMCA (who I already work for at
my camp job). It's going well so far. Teaching
kindergarten is so adorable and ridiculous.
I really want a full-time art teaching job though.
