Malus continued looking around and was disappointed when she didn't see anything. Hearing the others say that they might have found something she perked up. "Ooooh" She bounced over to the the egg and knelt in front of it before she was hit with a wave of discomfort. She frowned a bit, It looked like an egg and it was certainly big enough, she'd overheard a few of the staff talking about the manifest eggs. "I think so, it's definitely a big egg. It looks kind of weird though." She tilled her head and stared at it trying to ignore the creepy feeling she was getting. "I wonder what this black stuff is" She asked as she poked it.

Aidan saw Malus poking egg before he could stop her, so he did something rare: he yelled. "Malus! Stop!" He was so loud that he even startled himself. He just had this feeling that touching the egg was bad. Then he thought about it hard... What if the gunk was the toxic stuff that Malus had told them about in the first place? "I mean..." He said, " I mean what if that's the toxic stuff you talked about. What if it makes you sick?" Nadia was VERY intrigued by the egg, but for once in her short life she was scared. She was still chatty, none the less, but wouldn't go near that thing. "I think I'll just stay back here!" She said, unwilling to admit her fear. "Tell me what you figure out! I'll...I'll... See if I can find other clues or something!...maybe.."

Malus jumped as Aidan screamed and looked around to see if the bad manifest had shown up. She relaxed a bit when he continued on. "Ooh yeah, you're right it might be. You think the manifest is poising the egg?" She backed up from the egg and looked around. "We can't just leave the egg by it self now that we found it though." She frowned as she thought about what to do with the egg, if it was toxic they shouldn't touch it. "We should try to find something to wrap the egg in so we can pick it up safely and return it to the dreamery." She walked closer to them feeling a bit relived as she got father from the egg. It was creepy but it was her job as a future hero to protect and help the egg even if it was creepy and toxic. "If we all leave to find something the manifest could come back and take it though. I guess I'll keep an eye on it."

Roll a D-10 and add +1 to your score, Shadi. Sisi, you don't have to roll anything unless the kids come in contact with the egg, get way closer to it, or I give instruction.

Aidan didn't know what to do now. He wasn't going to touch the egg. He couldn't, not if it might make him sick. " Malus," he said softly, "if we need to take the egg back to the dreamery then you should be the one holding it. I mean, if its actually toxic then I don't want to get infected. If you were going to get the toxic infection, you already would have." Now he didn't know what to do. He hoped Malus would be okay. Nadia didn't know what was taking so long over there. She was pacing circles nervously, feeding off the negative energy of the egg. "Aidan, Malus, you okay? What's going on? What do we do now?"

Malus nodded "Yeah, I know I was planing on carrying it, but I still think it would be a good idea to wrapped something around it so that I don't get more infected or something." She hoped that warping the egg up would keep the black stuff it had on it form spreading to the others, maybe it would relive the discomforting feeling she was getting as well. "I think I'm okay, but I guess it could take a while to show up if I got sick from it." 6 + 1 = 7

Aidan got really quiet and was at a loss for words. He was having one of those really shy moments where his introversion really showed. They tended to spring upon him randomly, but were especially prevalent when he was uncomfortable. Maybe it was time to get away from that egg. He walked a little ways back and found a picnic blanket on the grass that must have been abandoned when the announcement started. He ran over to Nadia, gave her the blanket, and whispered to her to give it to Malus. Nadia got the blanket from Aidan and started towards Malus. Her brother could be such a dork sometimes. Stupid brother, not wanting to talk to people. He was so embarrassing. When Nadia got back to Malus she gave the instructions he told her. "Aidan said to wrap the creepy egg thing in this" she handed her the blanket, " and said that we should head for the dreamery as soon as possible. I agree with him. I don't want to be around that stupid thing any longer than I have to be."

Malus nodded and took the blanket from Nadia. It didn't seem like she had gotten hurt from poking it so that meant it would be okay if she picked it up right? She let out a shaky breath as she got closer to the egg. She didn't really want to touch it again. Her instincts were telling her to run, run far away form the creepy little egg.
But she was a hero and had to at lest attempt to save the egg. She really hoped that she wouldn't get sick or something from this. She quickly scoped the egg up in the blanket, being careful not to touch it. She really wished they had found a picnic basket instead of a blanket, but oh well, at least she wasn't touching that was good right? "Okay guys Let's go to the dreamery" She said before darting off the way they came. She wanted to get the egg there as fast as possible and didn't want to risk the other two getting to close to it. She hoped that they would follower her to the dreamery so that they could find out what exactly was happening.
5 - 1 = 4~

Aidan and Nadia both scampered close behind Malus. They both wanted the egg to go away already so that they could just go home and be normal again. But then Nadia realized that it probably wasn't nice to make Malus carry it the whole time. Malus was her friend, and you weren't supposed to make your friends do things that are that uncomfortable. Nadia ran up right next to Malus and asked "it wasn't nice of me to make you carry it, so would you like me to take a turn?"

Malus smiled and shook her head as they ran. "Thanks for the offer, but it's fine. It was my idea anyways." She wasn't sure how long they would be able to touch the egg without something happening and she didn't want her new friends to get sick because of her. She huffed a bit as they kept moving, glad that they where almost at the Dreamery place, she wanted to hand it over to the Techs and get away from the creepy feeling she had about it as soon as possible. Yeah it probably wasn't a good thing for a hero to feel but she was working on it. She wasn't really much of a hero yet anyways. What kind of hero didn't have powers or a secret identity and stuff.

"Okay..." Nadia said hesitantly "but if you need a break I can take it" she slowed down to catch her brother and make sure that he was okay. The twins ran close behind Malus, just as eager as she was to be able to get rid of the poison egg. When they finally reached the dreamery they were huffing and puffing, trying to catch their breath. Aidan was still suffering from his shy spell, probably because of that egg, so he stayed quiet. Nadia piped in with ideas though. "Where should the egg go now?" She said, looking for direction from Malus, "should we try to find the techs? Where would the techs be? Or should we just leave it on the doorstep?"

She smiled and nodded to Nadia "I'll let you know if I need one."
Malus huffed trying to catch her breath as well when they finally made it to the building. She paused thinking about were the techs would be. "I think it would be good to bring it straight to the Techs. There should be a few in the break room, I think." She said.
It was hard to open the door with the egg in her hands but she was able to do it and push it open enough for them to slip inside. Malus looked around for a moment before shifting the egg and pointing in a direction. "The lounge should be this way." And started off towards the lounge keeping an eye out for any Techs that where wandering the floor.

Aidan wondered about taking the egg to the break room. Was it really a good idea? The techs would probably not have any protection and could get sick from the egg too. It wouldn't be good to get toxic gunk on the people who were supposed to fix everything. Maybe finding a lab or something would be better. He thought it was known as the hatchery or something similar. He would have spoken up to tell Malus but he was still having his introversion attack. He opened his mouth to say something then blushed and turned away. Stupid introversion. "I don't see any techs Malus, are you sure we're going the right way? We could end up lost!" Nadia said anxiously. She was beginning to get frightened of the egg and what it might do to her new friend. She scanned the halls for people, but didn't see a soul. Surely the superhero would know what to do now. "Maybe a break room was t the best idea...do you have any other suggestions?"

Malus stopped and turned to Nadia "I was positive it was this way, but the building is so huge! Its weird though that we haven't run into anyone yet though." She though of another place that would have people since it seemed to be mostly deserted around here. "Hmm Maybe a lab or some sort of testing room? There should be a bunch in this building." She hoped that they were not all out looking and left the building unguarded and empty. They really should have made an egg drop of point when this whole mess started.
