There were places on it which he didn't recognize. Definitely beneficial to go back. 'Is the area still open to return? The map may hold valuable information.' And they could search for additional clues Azure might have missed in his first excursion. 'But first, we should try and figure out what this new crystal does. Safely.' How ever they were going to manage that was beyond her. But it was worth a try. 'If that's what you believe we should do Azure.' She may have gotten a touch ahead of herself in the excitement. In the end, this was Azures mission, and it was his crystals. What ever happened was ultimately left up to him.

Azure narrowed his eyes thoughtfully, "I don't see why not." Azure answered her question with the shake of his head. It wasn't as if the tunnel closed up behind him. The hardest part would be finding exactly where everything was without his little blue guide. "So... how are your drawing skills Dyas?" If they could map a way there, map a way through the temple, and then copy the map on the wall... they would be set! It would be a huge undertaking, and a lot even for his amazing Dyas to undertake. They probably needed a professional, but they didn't have that. "I completely agree... I need to figure out what it can do. But I'll test it on myself first... just in case... my other crystal doesn't work on me... so we'll see what happens." Azure was so excited working on this with Dyas, she was helping him so much in areas where he lacked.

The question made her pause thoughtfully before she shrugged. 'I more so write, but I am willing to try.' A simple drawing would suffice, at least she would imagine so. Putting major landmarks with proper Cardinal directions would keep them from getting lost. As for the issue with the crystal, that was much more difficult. The female lightly frowned. 'Testing it on yourself doesn't seem safe. Is there a way to activate your crystals remotely? Or do you have to be in contact with them?'

Azure couldn't think of any safer way to test it out, it was either on him or someone else, better it was him, if it would even work on him. If it didn't work on him, maybe he'd find an innocent bystander, because he certainly wasn't going to test it out on Dyas. Azure exchanged crystals from his bag so that he now held the blue one. "I activate this crystal by waving it over someone else's body... it seems like it absorbs bad feelings... sometimes I end up feeling sad myself after I use it." Azure explained. "It seems the best thing to do would be to try and activate it in the same way first, right?"

So he had to be in contact with someone. She didn't much like it, but what were they to do? They had to find out what the crystals did, and his original one apparently did not effect him. Slowly she nodded. 'Outside though, just in case it affects the surroundings.' If it caused a quake or a storm of some sorts inside the cave, it could potentially destroy her home. Did she know any healer pae if he became hurt? Unfortunately she came up blank. But there was always the healing springs.

Azure nodded his head in agreement. He was reluctant to want to get out of bed at this point, but he did anyways because Dyas was right. Azure had the same thought that it would be better to test outside. "Alright, lets see if we can figure it out real quick... but afterwards..." Azure let out a big yawn, he had hardly had time to rest after returning from his adventure. He took Dyas hand so they could go outside together.

No doubt the only reason she went along with this dangerous plan was because it was the most logical one. Dyas took a deep breath and slipped out of bed before taking the others hand. The pad of paper and charcoal would be left behind, leaving them to communicate as they had as children. She took her free hand and placed it on Azure's arm in a comforting manner as they began to walk out. He had been through quite the ordeal, and it was getting rather late. Afterwards bed would be a welcoming thing indeed. But unless they figured out what the black crystal did...well, she had a feeling she wouldn't be able to sleep in her anticipation.

Azure rolled the black crystal around in his hand, more out of habit then any special thing required. Once they were outside the blue boy waved the crystal across his body. Nothing exciting happened, and he didn't feel different. "Hm..." Azure made faces at the rock for a little while before he shook his head. "I don't know..."

Upon reaching the outside, Dyas stepped away for Azure to activate the crystal. She waited with baited breath as the black object moved across his body. But, nothing happened. The hybrid blinked. The blue doesn't work on him...perhaps it won't show what it does on him... She took a step towards him while pointing at herself. A normal pae would never intentionally, unflinchingly, offer themselves to test a potentially dangerous item. However Dyas was no normal pae, and the need to find out what the crystal did was great. The entire island could be counting on Azure utilizing it, perhaps stopping the thing which was trying to oppose him on his mission.

Azure scrunched his face up with a really hesitant expression. The last thing he wanted to do was use it on Dyas if it was potentially dangerous. Where was Raken when he needed him, maybe it would make him nice... It wasn't like there was another pae standing around who would be his guinea pig. "Are you absolutely sure Dyas?" At least he had his blue crystal on him if things went poorly. Once he was sure Dyas was sure, he waved the crystal over her.
[nothing will happen, it's effective only on Azure and always active, protecting him]

BIC: She immediately nodded when he asked, standing tall for him to use the crystal on her. Perhaps it would hurt her, perhaps it would even kill her. But to subject another unrelated pae to the test would be unthinkable. Dyas took a deep breath when he raised it, and waited.
Nothing.
She blinked at him before shaking her head. Nothing had happened at all. Perhaps it only worked in inanimate objects? If that were the case however, it would take days of process of elimination to find out what it reacted to. She frowned, clearly confused and a little disappointed in the lack of data. How would they even progress from there with the black crystal?

Azure looked disappointed, although somewhat relieved that at least nothing bad had happened to Dyas. He would have never forgiven himself if she had been hurt in some way. "I'm not really sure what else we can try... the first one was kind of an accident. I guess either fate or... this mother person... will show me the way." Azure took a deep breath, there were so many questions still, but at least after talking to Dyas he felt like he had some answers or at least an idea of what to try next. "Thanks for helping me Dyas, it really means a lot. You are wonderful as always."

BIC: As much as she didn't like knowing, they had little choice. With how late it was and their limited resources, there really was next to nothing they could do. The black crystal would have to be put aside for the time being, leaving their energy to go towards preparing for another look at the map. For now however, they really should be getting to bed. As the hybrid turned back towards the cave, she responded to the gratitude with a loving smile. Then, instead of heading straight in Dyas leaned over and softly kissed Azure's cheek. She would always be there for him, when ever he needed her.

Azure smiled and returned the kiss, only he missed her cheek and kissed her mouth instead. He ran his hands through her hair before leading her back to their room. So much to think about... with their plan to find the map again and make their own... training with Raken. All this on top of everything they had already been through since Raken had come home with their lie. Azure took a deep breath. His life had been so slow for so long and now so much was happening at once.

At the surprise mouth-kiss, the female blushed warmly. No matter how long she had known the male, no matter that they shared the same bed, she would always be timid with physical affection. When he pulled away she smiled again and let him lead her down. Their lives were so busy now, with their reuniting, Raken, and now crystals thrown in. But if it meant being with him, she would grin and bear it, and take even more on. She moved close to him so their sides brushed against each other.
