Sabin Duvert
He scowled as the mare, however, corrected him on culture and etiquette. But just the minor flick of his ear betrayed his proverbial ruffled feathers. "My dear Tranquility," he continued, using her full formal name, " there are savage cultures that name their members as nothing more complex than clicks or whistles... or even simpler beasts who may not even bear their own identity beyond father or child..." he shook his head again with a note of pity. "Perhaps it was a mistake on my part to believe that our charming friend here... Obeah... you said...? Was of their ilk." He turned back to the stallion, spealing more slowly as he addressed him. "Lakes and ponds andgreenery.." Marconius echoed, "Hmm, unless your territory spans a vast territory, then perhaps it is more than a little waterlogged. Hm. So sad." "Foolish featherhead," he barked, his annoyance chipping away at his decorum. "Don't you know that water brings life? Perhaps if you would hydrate yourself a bit more you'd find your personality a bit more easy to bear," he hissed with a sneer.
"I apologize, lovely Lilly. It's been so pleasant to get to know you. Such a shame there's a worm in the apple, eh? As for my home, you see, we're so very small right now, and, well, to put it bluntly, I'm exploring the world and singing of its praises hoping to find others who may want to join, or, at the very least, secure some of the royal lines," he said with a gleam in his eye.

Sabin Duvert Marconius snorted. Foolish? He dared call him foolish? "You poor deluded stallion," Marconius said lowly with an edge to his voice. "Are you so blind that you do not see the majesty before you? You claim to be royalty, but if you are king of anything, it is nothing more than mud." The were fissures in his veneer of calm.
