Tuck grunted when Ro's weapon clipped his shield, but after regrouping the Moon was almost lazily swinging once more at Ro's shield.

It seemed like neither hunter was really trying as if doing so would be shameful in some way. Tucks last swing bounced almost harmlessly off Roland's shield and his own strike fell short.
Still Sylvia hissed inside his head, << One more already !! >>

Tuck's next strike was just as lazy and almost-harmless as his previous one. He wasn't sure what was going on with the other hunter, but Ro wasn't really hitting for s**t. Tuck briefly wondered if everything was okay with the Mist, but refrained from saying a damn thing.

Roland stepped forward, he took the glancing blow with some sense of grace as Sylvia started to cry out at an opening. Roland turned twisting the scythe around to cut from hip to shoulder taking a healthy chunk of Tuck's shield.
That was when his weapon's runes started to glow, and Sylvia started to let out a strange hum that was almost a howl.

Herryk grew more and more insistent, and Tuck let out a grunt. The runes shimmered and came together before promptly fizzling out.
Tuck's shoulders slumped, and he held Herryk up to scowl at the weapon.

While Tuck was scowling at his weapon Roland was staring at his as it seemed to shift and reform in his hands, the blade seemed sharper, a bit longer. Metal work twisted around and shifted and more interestingly was the next set of instructions Sylvia gave him.
<< Twist and pull at the middle, Roland somethings changed. A lot. >>
Following her instructions the scythe seemed to snap in half a long chain marked with runes spilled out between the metal rod that was formally her lower half and the short bar connected to her blade.
What happened next neither hunter was ready for as the air seemed to pull in close around them, dust kicking up. Roland looked at Tuck with a face that clearly stated he had no ******** clue what his weapon was doing. Just before the wind burst outward in a wave of sound cutting through the air around them like a wild storm of blades as the built up charge released it's self into the wild.

Tuck hit his knees.
And then fell face-first into the ground.
He didn't move after that.

Roland wasn't in much better shape. His own shield had shattered at the end of the fight and he had been left laying on his back Sylvia dropped in between the two of them. All over Roland had small cuts and scrapes that Sylvia was back to work on healing. Thankfully enough of the shield held that it wasn't too bad.
"T-tuck?" He looked at the other hunter laying in the ******** ******** ******** SYLVIA WHAT THE ********/><< I... I don't know! There was so much FEAR and it was like a block had been lifted or something I don't.... I don't know! >>
"s**t s**t Sylvia you killed him s**t s**t s**t. Tuck please don't be dead please don't be dead." He scrambled towards the other hunter practically falling on the ground beside him as he checked for a pulse.

Tuck groaned as he rolled to his back.
"I said.. no ******** shield breaking.. a*****e."
He shoved away Roland's fumbling hands and pushed up into a seated position.

Roland raised both hands falling back into a seated position as well, his weapon still summoned and laying to the side of them both glowing dully after the explosion of fear.
"I didn't, I didn't do that. Not intentionally. Sylvia just.... popped I don't know what the hell that was."

Tuck glanced over at Rolands weapon, rolling his shoulders back at the same time. ******** hurt, and Tuck was not in the best of moods.
"You need to figure your s**t out, man. That," he pointed at Sylvia, "ain't normal."
It took some effort, but Tuck creaked to his feet.

Roland was only a few steps shy of being as bad-of-shape as Tuck was. For whatever reason most of the blast had been focused away but what hit him still hurt like hell.
"No. It's not. I've seen other weapons do stuff.... like that." Rep and Peyton came to mind, "But never so... loud." That at least, was becoming a theme with Sylvia.
Stumbling up Roland dusted himself off looking at Sylvia as she de summoned back to her totem. "I'll talk to Candace or Jordan about it, they know more about the more umm evolved? Weapons I guess." He looked at Tuck again frowning, "They have extra runics on hand down in the labs we can get you a pair if you need it."

Gnat's weapon had that same kind of kick, and Stormy's too. Tuck shook his head as his own weapon returned to its totem form, a runed ring around Tuck's finger.
"That s**t is dangerous. You shouldn't use it in spars - I don't give a ******** who says charges should be used in spars. If that s**t is dangerous, don't use it. We ain't supposed to be killin' each other 'round here."
His ribs felt rearranged in his chest. s**t hurt.
"I'm going to the ******** infirmary."

"I don't plan on it any time soon. I'm not to far behind you, that blast hit everything." He gestured to a near by dummy that was also cut up from the sound blast. "I didn't intend for that to happen."
He watched Tuck as it was clear he wasn't in good shape at all.
"I'm not letting you walk there alone. I'm not letting my weapon pop off and hit you like that and not try to make it right."
