Miss Amelia Pond I'm not even going to try to explain being... gone. But, very long story short, I don't live in Texas any more! Yaaaaaay! I live in San Francisco and now work as a programmer and I am never going back to that horrible state that thinks triple-digit temperatures are perfectly normal. I'm quite happy here with my newfound utter lack of seasons. I have yet to experience an earthquake. I have no doubt that I am going to freak out when I do. But that's okay, because I get to laugh at my coworkers who think that a light drizzle is a rainstorm. We all have things we're not used to. Texas isn't THAT horrible... Today the temperature was 102, but... Still... crying

But yeah, I don't like being that hot. It's hot enough here in Ohio x__XI only know one... Actually, like three people from Texas, and they're all pretty awesome.

Oh heck I knowwwwwwwwww <3 Feel totally the same way. Seriously need a TARDIS to skip over to the release date so I can watch it NOW!
How did you decide to change into programming anyway?

And it rains frequently where I live Yeah, SE texas is way humid. Houston and its surrounding areas are awful if you don't like heat and humidity. Here, on the other hand, we got a minor affect from the heat wave. It hit 80 here yesterday. It was quite warm. Meanwhile, twenty miles inland, it was probably 110 or so...

You have to experience it to believe it, ish like an entire wall just as you exit just about anything. Plus ett rushes in when you're in Japan because they have absolutely no insulation wut so evah =w= But at least their homes are designed to keep da heat out.... Great for summer, bad fo winter.

San Francisco's about the same temperature as you guys have in the summer, warmer in the winter though. I live in the north of Scotland. Its a bit different.
