Vollerei gripped her spear as a tallish earthling man wielding a short sword. Ignoring his words, she dodged the sword thrust and swept the staff of her stolen spear at his feet tripping him up. As he fell, she clobbered him on the back of the head, knocking him out. She saw no need for senseless killings; besides, a prisoner would be able to tell her why they were doing this and where they'd stashed the loot. She then left the safety of her tree on the edge and went to join the battle. She used the long reach of her spear to trip and slash at the bandits while keeping herself mostly out of harms way. At first she kept to the edges, getting used to her spear, then she waded into the thick of the brawl to aid the other Alkidikes. She did take some blows, mostly from an archer and another spear-wielder.
Her arms were getting kinda sore by the time she reached the center of the brawl.

The brawl was beginning to dissipate; the brigands who had fought hard were plainly overwhelmed by the trained skill of the alkidikes. Many that were not unconscious, seriously wounded or dead, were now choosing a moment to flee the fight. Some of the women pursued them, whilst others went to tend to their own wounded. Vollerei's appearance though had caught the attention of one woman. The apparent leader of this war party, she gripped her spear and approached.
"I welcome the sight of my sister and her bravery in the fight. I noticed you in the chaos and I am proud to see that you held your own." She announced, the eyes and heads of several of her other sisters turning to see whom she was addressing.
"Name yourself, Sister, and then we shall help to gather the wounded prisoners."

Vollerei saw that the brawl was dissipating but decided not to chase the bandits. There were others eagerly giving chase anyways and she had to go fetch Zweil from his hiding spot soon. She saw a strong woman who exuded authority approach and waited for her to speak.
She leaned on her spear and responded. "I'm Vollerei, and after we deal with the wounded I'd like to go find their stash of stolen food and goods. There's several villages who need that food." Plus if she returned it, maybe they'd feed her tasty food....

The woman nodded at Vollerei, her look stern and her stance proud. She was obviously of some importance to the group, and spoke with authority. "We thank you Vollerei for taking up arms with your fellow Sisters. I am Yansa, leader of this group and a council member on Ekene. Once the wounded are taken care of, you are welcome to do what you wish with the stolen goods. As a Sister, I can be sure that you will follow through with your decision with honor." Yansa nodded once more to Vollerei, the group of Alkidike surrounding them taking a moment to watch what was going on between the two women, and turned from Vollerei to continue to deal with the wounded, both the brigands and their own side, rounding the defeated up in the process.
Yansa had trusted Vollerei with helping to deal with the wounded first, allowing her to search for the stolen goods afterward.
Vollerei could hear a sound rustling in the distance, something small and fairly far off. It was a distinctive clicking and some sort of moving in a tree, the source of which was still unknown.

Vollerei nodded and tried not to roll her eyes at the dramatic sounding proclamation of the leader. So official sounding! She smiled to herself as she helped gather up the wounded. Once the wounded had been gathered into one spot and the dead piled off to the side, she decided that she'd done enough to help. That and she knew absolutely nothing about healing, so she left that for the others and went in search of the stolen food.
Vollerei was following a path that had been made by constant walking back and forth, figuring that it must lead to where they hid their loot. As she was walking she heard a rustling sound, nearby but not too close. Quickly clambering up a tree, Vollerei began to silently approach the sound, it could be predator or prey. either of which she didn't want to spot her.

The sounds continued, seemingly oblivious to Vollerei's proximity to its location. The sounds moved from the tree to ground level nearby and as Vollerei approached, she saw the looted food from the other villages, and a maglardilla going about its business and snacking on some of the food pile's edge...

Volerei grinned at the sight of all that lovey food just waiting for her to eat.. No! She had to deliver it back to the villagers! ...Maybe she shouldn't have let loose all the Radaku's.. they would have been useful in transporting this...
The sight of the maglardilla eating the food made her mouth water.. Maglardilla's were good eatings! She climbed up a tree and crept out onto a branch right above the maglardilla. Once in position, she dropped down to the ground right next to it, barely missing squashing the tasty bug and the food it was eating. The critter looked up at her unafraid and cheeped happily before going back to eating. Volle was rather shocked at it's reaction.. unafraid? And it had sounded a lot like Zwiel when he was happy... Her heart twinged, potential food shouldn't be so cute! Well, I guess I can let it live for a while... I can always eat it later, and there's plenty of food right here so no need to kill it now. She tried to justify the feelings of not wanting to kill what should have been on her menu. Then she smiled, I can just keep it for now and if I ever start starving I'll eat it then! Since it'll live for a while I can have a portable food source!
Reaching down she gently picked up the colorful creature, "Hey there Snack, no more eating that food, that's for the villagers to eat.. and then they can feed me off of it as a reward." Shed call it snack, maybe by calling it that she'd avoid getting too attached to it to eat... Vollerei smiled at the Magladilla as it squirmed and climbed onto her head where it perched and clicked it's mandible's happily. Guess I have a new friend... He'd get killed in an instant out in the wild, maybe he's just wasn't taught to fear predators? Zweil chuckled to herself as she stood with hands on her hips and surveyed the pile of food and loot. Well, I'll take some of this for myself and deliver the rest. Wonder if I can get some help from my sisters in rounding up the Radaku or finding other mounts?

There was a rustling and footsteps behind Vollerei, revealing themselves to be Yansa and a small group of Sisters. It was as if Vollerei's thoughts had been answered. Yansa surveyed the scene and all of the food before speaking.
"Well done, Sister. I see you've found the missing supply stash." She eyeballed the maglardilla sitting on Vollerei's head. "And a new meal at that." Yansa smiled to Vollerei briefly and the Sisters behind her laughed lightly at the joke. Everyone knew how tasty a maglardilla could be. "The mount is pretty large, no doubt too large for you to carry yourself."
She motioned for three of the five Sisters behind her to come forward. "Sisters, getting the food back to the villages will no doubt encourage reciprocity of good feelings between us and them. I would like you to accompany Vollerei in returning the food to Tale." The Alkidike turned to each other nodded toward Yansa, though it could be seen that it wasn't on the top of their list of things they would like to do.
"Vollerei, we appreciate your help in the fight and with rounding up the missing foods. I know that we can expect good things from you and as a Sister, we would like you to continue to train as a Blade."
