Tuck let out a low groan and closed his eyes for just a moment before opening them again, his gaze landing on Heidi's lips. She wanted mind-blowing? Well. He'd give her mind-blowing. Moving into a half-seated position so that he leaned on one elbow, Tuck lifted his hand to cup Heidi's cheek. The way they were seated, she was angled slightly above him - and so Tuck used his hand to urge her down towards him so that he could press his lips to hers again. Using his thumb to apply pressure to her chin, Tuck gave Heidi a kiss that wasn't like any other kiss he'd given her before. It really was a kiss that said I might die if I don't make up for lost time. It was a kiss that accelerated quickly, a kiss that utilized lips, teeth, tongue. It was most definitely a kiss of mind-blowing proportions. Take that, Heidi.

Her smile returned when Tuck sat up and reached up for her, she leaned down as he wanted and closed her eyes when she felt Tuck's lips against hers again. While this had been what she had asked for she was still very surprised by the kiss she was given. Pleasantly surprised.
Heidi's arms wound around Tuck's neck as she leaned forward into him, returning the kiss without a second thought. It was exactly what she had asked for. Heidi found herself returning the kiss with a bit more fervor than the last kisses they had shared.
Matilda made a sound like clearing one's throat. Heidi ignored her.
She did it again. Heidi continued to ignore her and instead leaned almost all of her weight into Tuck.
The banshee let out a shrill shriek in Heidi's head, one that had the girl ending the kiss sooner than she would have liked. Her face was flushed, her eyes opening wide and she panted lightly while regaining proper control of her breathing. Thine virtue is in danger, m'lady.
Virtue? What? Danger? Matilda wasn't making sense.
The blonde suddenly shook her head, giggling and rubbing her lips together. She leaned in for one more kiss, a softer and sweeter one, before she sat back away from Tuck.
Uh...well. That had been what she'd asked.
Words. Words helped.
Heidi cleared her throat and tugged at the neck of her tank top. She suddenly felt way too warm. Was she coming down with another fever? Yes, that had to be it.
Words...now? "Uh.." Well, that was a start.
"...Wow," Heidi giggled, her fingers pressing to her mouth.

Tuck cleared his throat loudly when Heidi ended the kiss, and he didn't open his eyes until she pulled back from that second, softer touch of her lips to his. He dropped his hand to his side and clenched his fingers to prevent himself from reaching for Heidi again, and a strained sort of smile curved his lips.
"You gonna pack a lunch, or you gonna want to pick somethin' up when we get wherever we're goin'? If we pack somethin', I bet we could find a portal that takes us out to the middle of nowhere."
Tuck cleared his throat again and smiled.
"I need to get ready. I ain't goin' hiking in my sweatpants."

Didn't she answer that question already? She was pretty sure she had, but Heidi's brain felt all..fuzzy right now. She'd agree to just about anything at the moment. "Eh?" Sweatpants? Heidi glanced down.
...Oh.
She was blushing again as she quickly looked up again, giggling and nodding her head. "I'll go pack a lunch." It would give Tuck some um..private time. Heidi was smiling as she carefully climbed off the bed, leaning down to give Tuck a kiss against his head. "See you at the portals in liiiike.." She grabbed her phone. "An hour?" That sounded like enough time for her to find a proper basket and pack a decent lunch. Plus it gave Tuck more than enough time to calm down. She almost felt bad.
Almost, but not quite.
There was a little smile on Heidi's face as she left Tuck's room, tracing a finger along her bottom lip once she was in the hallway. She giggled. That'd been nice.
She hurried away, wanting to get everything packed and ready so she wouldn't be late for god knows what reason. This was going to be her first trip off the island that didn't involve a messed up mission, that alone was enough to excite her.

After Heidi left, Tuck fell back on the bed and closed his eyes. After a few moments he rolled off the bed and changed into a pair of jeans and a dark green t-shirt. Socks, shoes, deodorant and he was ready to go.
Heidi had said an hour.
He was there in thirty minutes. It gave him time to relax a little more. His last talk with Nevada, though dulled by sickness, had given him some things to think about. It was complicated while being simple at the very same time.
It also gave him time to talk to a portal technician - who just so happened to be an avid hiker.
Tuck had decided on a destination - all he had to do was wait for Heidi.

Heidi was there before the agreed time but not before Tuck, it was around forty-five minutes before she made it to the portals. Her hair had been done in a fishtail braid to keep it out of her face, she was having far too much fun with the length of it lately, but that was all that was really different about her aside from having exchanged her converse out for something more hiking friendly. Instead of a basket she had emptied out her backpack and packed food and drinks in it instead.
Aw, crap! How long had Tuck been here? She had to check and make sure she wasn't late.
She wasn't. Good, that was a relief.
"Hey!" She called cheerfully as she hurried up to Tuck, beaming up at him. "All ready? I made sandwiches annnnd I packed some fruit and crackers and drinks and stuff." She gestured to her backpack. "So where're we headed, Forest?"

Tuck grinned broadly at Heidi, going so far as to reach out and tug on the end of her braid.
"We're stayin' out of the general public today. Headin' to Yellowstone, but we're gonna hit up one of the smaller lakes that doesn't get much traffic. Ranger Lake, or so the portal tech said."
His eyes moved to the backpack she had.
"You want me to carry that? We're all dialed up n' ready to go, short stack."

When her braid was tugged Heidi giggled and relaxed so her head followed with the tugging, not wanting to hurt her head resisting the action. She didn't mind it at all. His answer got a curious look from the blonde. Why did he feel the need to make a point about staying out of the general public? That was kind of something that just happened when you went hiking sometimes. Strange. "That sounds fun! So it'll be nice and quiet, yeah? Good~. Too many noisy people ruin places like this sometimes."
She glanced back at the backpack and shrugged it off, holding it in one hand. Hm...it wasn't too heavy, but would Tuck insist if she said no? "I think I've got it, but if you really want to it's cool. I think all my school books were heavier than our lunch," she joked, offering Tuck the backpack if he wanted to take it. After that she reached for his hand to hold it, swinging their hands between them. "Lead the way, Tall Man." Heidi practically skipped alongside Tuck as they headed into the portal, excitedly squeezing his hand.

He took the backpack and slung it over his shoulder while moving to take her hand with his. Tuck was quiet until they stepped through the portal. He gave Heidi's hand a squeeze and just stopped on the other side, inhaling deeply. It was a silence that he could feel in his bones. After a moment he glanced down at her with a huge dimpled smile. "I just remember goin' to Yellowstone when I was a kid an' there was just... hundreds of people in line to see this n' take pictures of that. I'd just like to spend some time with you an' not have to worry about ... people." Lifting her hand, Tuck pressed a kiss to the back of it before squeezing her hand again. There was a slightly worn path laid out before them - easy, rolling hills, thick green underbrush. The sun was up but it wasn't too hot. In the distance was a steely blue lake that shimmered in the sun. "I ain't even sure what time it is." He glanced up at the sun. It was before noon, that was sure. "You ready to get walkin'? Figure we could picnic by the lake if you like."

Heidi made a quiet noise of joy when they made it to the other side, bouncing on her toes and looking all around. It was so beautiful. She was quick to calm down, her hand squeezing Tuck's. This was amazing. Tuck broke the silence with words that made her heart flutter delightedly. He wanted to spend time with her, no interruptions. She tried so hard to hide her smile and not look overeager, but it didn't work. She giggled, looking up as Tuck raised her hand to kiss it and blushing again. Tuck was the best, seriously the best. "Y-yeah, I'm totally cool walking," Heidi agreed with a huge smile. She was totally cool doing anything as long as he kept holding her hand, really. "I'd love that."

Tuck grinned, and then grinned harder at the sight of that blush. He didn't point it out, didn't make fun of her, didn't say anything about it. Tuck only squeezed her hand twice before he started off at a slow pace down the faint trail that led to the lakeside. He fell silent as they walked, though he stole little looks at Heidi now and again. "What do you got planned for next month? Or you keepin' it a secret?"

She was very okay with this pace. The slower they walked the more time they had together. Heidi idly swung their hands between them, occasionally bumping against Tuck with a little smile. This was nice. She missed most of the looks, looking up when she felt eyes on her only to catch the tail end of him looking away. Hm..
"Well..I've always wanted to go to London..." Heidi smiled. "So I was thinking maybe there. I'm not going to keep the place itself a secret, not unless you'd prefer that~. Is there anywhere you've always wanted to go? Anywhere at all?" Maybe she would reconsider where she wanted to go if he wanted to go somewhere really awesome too. Heidi fit her fingers between Tuck's and raised their hands so they both rested on her shoulder, she tilted her head so her cheek was pressed against the back of Tuck's hand.

"London don't sound too bad. Maybe Spain would be cool sometime. It's weird, bein' able to just... go, you know? I wasn't big on huge cities, growin' up. This is more my speed. Somethin' about the open air an' the sun an' the silence. I gotta admit, though, I do wanna travel. See some sights." He fell silent as she rearranged their hands. Her cheek felt soft against the back of his hand, and Tuck really couldn't imagine things going any better than they were. There were things he wanted to talk to her about, but figuring out the right time and the right way to bring things up.. that was another matter entirely.

"Ohhh! Spain sounds fun! Maybe I should look into that instead.." Heidi didn't know much Spanish but there had to be a way to work around that. She agreed on the big city thing though, she had grown up in a small town with only a few hundred people. Big cities weren't something she saw very often, not unless she went to Providence or Boston. "..Hm...I think I know where we'll go." She grinned. "It's a secret."When Tuck fell quiet Heidi assumed it was just him enjoying the peace of everything around them, and she wouldn't blame him if he was. This place was beautiful and very nostalgic. She looked up at him every now and then, a small smile on her face.

Tuck gave a low chuckle and leaned over to press a kiss to the top of Heidi's head. The lake was drawing closer and closer as they continued walking towards it. "A secret," he grinned. "You know what? I'ma let you surprise me. Where else have you ever wanted to go?"
