Micah laughed brightly as Castille pulled her into a hug, enthusiastically hugging her friend back. It was good to know that Castille still remembered her... Something inside her chest lit up and got warmer as Castille held her. Micah had to hold her breath to keep herself together. Are you going to cry?No... Micah sniffed and pulled away from Castille, grinning like a mad woman. She cuffed roughly at her eyes, refusing to cry as her heart swelled. It was just... good to be remembered, that was all. "That was totally my intention, Cas," she chirpped, linking her arm with the red-head. "What do you say to grabbin some grub with me? I hear they've got marshmallows and hot dogs somewhere around here. That smell has my name written all over it."

Working on it was good enough for Quinn, considering she had gone over a year since obtaining her new identity to bother to get a job. Or well, do anything really. So if he wanted to not bother with much and crash on her couch [or in her room] in the mean time, she was supportive of it. She had bigger, more important things to worry about. But not ******** around a little bit, eh?" She grinned up at him, eyebrows waggling suggestively. She chugged back the rest of her drink, grabbed a cold bottle of beer, and lead Veer towards the Bonfire where the DJ was so she could convince him to put on something more to her tastes. Instead, when they approached the crowd around the large fire, Quinn was immediately distracted by the food and grabbed a handful of marshmallows. She took a drink of her beer and followed it with a marshmallow while swaying her hips to whatever random song the DJ put on. "This was a brilliant idea!" This may have not been Leto's thing, but Quinn was in her ******** element. ((Also to note, anyone is welcome to interact with her! Just quote me!<3))

Veer didn't have time to suggest that they forget the party and just get straight to the -- no. She grabbed his hand and then they were moving through the crowd, noise and strangers, his eyes taking in people in skimpy swimsuits and crazy beach outfits both. He was probably, comparatively, overdressed. He'd be sweating in minutes. Oh well. Once she started dancing, it didn't matter. It left him grinning, appreciative -- and he'd dance, sure. Veer wasn't a good dancer, but he wasn't a terrible dancer, either. He had rhythm, and he was, well, shameless. He preferred moshing, but this was alright, all the same. "Give me some of those --" He'd steal a marshmallow as he asked it, and then another, shoving both into his mouth at the same time. When he spoke again, it was pretty much unintelligible mush. "How long we staying? Long enough to go in the water?"

Ricky Cunningham Things had been tough for Ricky Cunningham. He was kidnapped and brought to mirror space, and since then was just an unfortunate series of events. It nearly broke the poor old southern boy's spirit, sending him off into a dark place of deep depression and solitude. At that current moment, he was laying back on the back of a pick up truck in the tailgate party, shirtless, with a lime in his mouth as a hot girl licked tequila off his abdomen. So things could have been worse. Ricky grinned as their lips touched while the girl bit the lime from his mouth. "Woo!" she screamed before leaning onto a girlfriend. Ricky hopped off the back of the truck, his shirt forgotten about and moved over to grab a third beer of the evening before making his way on down to the bonfire. Okay. So things weren't really all that bad.

Castille tilted her head in an interested manner when Micah rubbed her eyes. Was she crying? But why? Had she accidentally punched her or something? Ah well. There weren't tears, so Castille assumed that the sun had just gotten in her eyes.
At the mention of food, she clutched her stomach in a dramatic fashion. "Foooooooood" she said, taking on a zombie like tone. "You have said the magic word!" She linked arms with Micah, and grabbed her camera. stuffing it into her bag. Pictures can wait, she was with a friend!
"Hotdogs sound awesome right now. With a nice cold soda!" she crowed, heading over to where she assumed the food was coming from. The fire felt warm and lovely.

Amarilla let the bartender walk by two or three times before she finally stopped him, muttering something about a tequila sunrise. The bartender complied, pouring her a red and yellow drink in a tall hurricane glass. She thanked him, and, taking a sip, made a slight face. He poured heavy, that was for sure.
The bonfire seemed to be where the main party was, so she picked her way through bodies and towels, finding an empty chair and plopping herself down in it, pointing her toes toward the fire and brushing her ponytails out over the back of the chair so that they hung down close to the sand, and she didn't have to sit on them. She sighed, taking another sip from her straw and letting the fire wash over her while she people watched.

Quinn was an awful dancer, but when you've got boobs it really didn't matter what you did or how stupid you looked doing it. So she wiggled along to the music, alternating marshmallows with a sip of beer which was both disgusting and delicious at the same time. An eyebrow raised when Veer stole some of her precious marshmallows, which was quickly followed by a laugh when he started mumbling something about water with a mouthful of sweet gooey goodness. "We can stay all night. I'm not going to work tonight, if you know what I mean," she said before she caught sight of Ricky in her peripherals and the smile disappeared for an incredibly brief moment. Quinn quickly plastered a grin on her face, choosing to ignore her once-captive, pulled her shirt up over her head followed by her shorts and she was ready and waiting in her camoflage bikini. "Long enough to go in the water!" She clinked her beer bottle against his, took a few big gulps and wasted no time in heading down to the shore.

All too soon, the party from other parts of the beach seemed to invade the bonfire in various stages of dress. At least it was PG, but without a friend along, Orah felt just a tad shy among all these strangers. Most of whom seemed above drinking age since she saw a lot of beer. Sipping her sprite, she gave up space closer to the fire to those who wanted to dance and went to sit on one of the logs arranged around the edge.
If nothing else, it was fun to people watch. A lot of girls had super cute dresses or bathing suits on, and there were quite a few cute boys too. It made her feel awkward and out of place, being obviously one of the youngest people in this little crowd.
Settling back, she just drank her soda and watched the crowd, letting the music wash over her.

For the past two or so weeks Arian had been debating whether or not to go to the Fourth July beach party. The thing had been advertised since about January, but he wasn't sure it was really his scene, besides he had a couple of pendants to finish up so that Saffy could list them up on the etsy shop. In the end it had been the fireworks that had been the final deciding factor - he liked fireworks and the City had put on a really good fireworks show at the last July Fourth celebration. He wasn't sure about the drinking side - it was a beach party - people tended to get drunk at those sort of things and Arian wasn't one for drinking, but he figured that there would probably be some sort of fizzy drink alternative on sale and he was only planning to stay until the fireworks show was done - hopefully the drinking side wouldn't start up in earnest until the fireworks was done. He'd been right about the soft drinks, had managed to get himself a sprite, but there were more people than he'd been expecting as he tried to find a good spot in which to watch the fireworks. He'd gotten close to the bonfire when he thought he saw a familiar face and headed in her direction. "Hi Orah, are you out to see the fireworks too?"

Quinn came prepared; Veer did not. Instead he'd come dressed in proper clothing with no swimsuit underneath -- not that it really mattered. He watched her go, working on his own beer, thinking about it, before he started after. Just one last look was tossed back over his shoulder, spotting Ricky as well. Awkward. Best to beat it; he agreed. And sure. He didn't have on a swim suit, but at the shore he'd strip down to just his shorts, a chain jangling at his hip, and he'd take off into the water after her, splashing up great waves as he did. So his boxers would get wet, his shorts; his mohawk would perhaps fall down again. Worth it, with Quinn in a bikini. He chased her down to catch her around the waist, and then paused. To dunk her or not?

Hearing a familiar voice startled Orah out of her thoughts and a brilliant smile appeared on her face as she turned to greet her friend.
"Arian! I'm so glad you decided to come to the party! I was starting to think no one I knew was going to show up. Um, fireworks?" She brushed off her pinks skirt as she stood, sprite in hand. It made her giggle inside that he'd gotten the same drink and she couldn't help her grin. "I forgot there were going to be some tonight... No, I was just here people watching and waiting to see if friends showed up, but I would love to see the fireworks! I love the bright colors."
Raising the can, she took a sip from it and glanced around. "Did you come with anyone? I figured I'd see people here, so I came by myself. My dad would probably kill me if he knew, but I figured he didn't need to know as long as I eventually ended up with friends." She chuckled, rolling her shoulders in a shrug.

Arian shook his head at Orah's question "No I came on my own too," he said. He left a note for Saffy letting his cousin know that he'd be there, at least Arian was pretty sure he could vaguely remember pinning a note to the fridge door before he left. Not that Saffy would mind if the hints she'd been dropping that he should get out more was anything to go by. "I wasn't going to come at first" he admitted "But then I figured I'd stay for at least as long as the fireworks" he smiled. "I love fireworks and I've kind of gotten used to watching them in July over here." His smile turned rueful as he added "Although sometimes I miss going to see them in November like we did back in England." There was something fun about being bundled up against the crisp November weather and sipping hot chocolate while watching the fireworks and although Saffy and he had an annual sparkler party each November 5th, it wasn't really the same.

Smiling, brightly, at the use of his nickname he shook his head. "It's not not normally my sort of thing, but I really thought we needed to spend some time together. Also, it's a great place to view the fireworks from." He knew something like this wasn't normally his scene, was perhaps very far from it in fact, but the fireworks and the time spent with Lily had decided his plans for tonight and brought them here. Not to mention he could use the change in pace as well, things were slowly starting to turn for the better in his life right now.
While he had no swim bottoms, he had no intentions of getting into the water, he was still dressed for something like this - at least as much as he could ever be. He just hoped Lily liked what he'd gotten her, she seemed excited when she rushed off to the bathrooms to change. He also hoped he'd gotten the sizes for things right, he really never guessed about certain sizes before and never would again. So when she came back all excited, and in the new clothing, he was pleased by her happiness and smiled that much brighter. "I'd hoped you would. I was more worried on sizes I think...As for what now...well I believe we should be heading down to the beach and see what's going on there." This said as he offered an arm to the red haired girl.
"And we should plan a shopping trip for some time soon, it's really been too long."

Dustin Harlow After a few shots of tequila in the parking lot, Dustin stumbled down to the beach. Dressed in a striped tank top, swim trunks, sandals and a bandana wrapped around his forehead, he quickly changed course at the sight of Alexandre Evans. It wasn't just that Dustin and Alexandre didn't get along - but they still hadn't spoken since Dustin's stupid decision to sleep with him. He knew he would have to deal with him eventually, he was a superior agent of the Negaverse after all, but this night was supposed to be fun, not awkward. He steered to the left sharply and found himself drawn to the tiki bar like a moth to a flame. He flashed his fake ID at a bouncer guarding the area, then stumbled in only to spot yet another familiar face - that is, someone else he had slept with. Porsha. He approached her from behind, placing a hand on the small of her back to say hello. "Hey girl," Dustin greeted with a grin. "Haven't seen you in a bit, how've you been?" He gave a glance at her stomach. Not pregnant was the important answer. He eyed the other girl with her, Venice. Most of his attention, however, was drawn to her figure. "Who's your friend?"

Nope, not pregnant. They'd been careful, and Po was definitely on the pill. There would be no little agents of chaos running around just yet. Porsha was polishing off a very colorful drink when a hand came to rest lightly at the small of her back. It startled her, and she had to tip the drank back down to keep from spilling it over herself. Not that it really would have mattered. The girl was sporting a black bikini top that was designed to look like a rib cage. Very stylish, a little goth, but so very her. She'd paired it with a pair of short, cut off shorts, and some dark flip flops. Grinning, Po stepped back so she could curl an arm around Dustin's hips. leaning into him in a half hug. "Hey you! Hell ya it has. Too damn long." There were fond memories attached to the abandoned house they'd broken into together.. "I'm great. Getting my drink on." What remained of her drink was tossed back a second after, and she set the glass on the counter, indicating that she'd like another. She blinked towards Venice when Dustin asked about her, then grinned, nudging her older friend in the side. "This is Roller Mama, a.k.a. Venice. Absolute worst influence." So very accurate, but Po couldn't have had any more love for the woman. Grey eyes slide back to Dustin, and she raked her gaze from sandals on up, an impish grin on her face. "So how you doin'?" Oh yeah she was glad he was here.
