Vanadis was not happy to see that Dusty had effectively voided her growling. She frowned for a moment and looked to her trainer. Gormlaith offered no help or support, really, just nodded her head. Vanadis then just decided to continue on with attacking and let out another Echoed Voice.

Dusty disregarded the echoed voice. She hopped into the air and released a charge beam at the eevee.

Vanadis was blown back from the force of the attack. Her fur got all messed up and she growled in anger. Did that rodent know how long it took to get her coat all shiny and pretty as it had been?! She glared at Dusty and shot off another Echoed Voice.

Even as the echoed voice rang in her ears again, Dusty could help but laugh at the how easily it was to anger her opponent. Maybe she should see what kind of response if she actually used her signal beam to attack?
Oh, Print's personality must be rubbing off on her.

Vanadis got hit with the Signal Beam and was enraged even more. She hated her fur getting messed up. Fine this was how they wanted to play... then she'd play. She opened her mouth and this time shot some stars at her opponent.

Dusty had to stifle her laughter this time so she can block some of the stars. She quickly fixed her coat by running her paws through her fur; definitely an advantage of having a short coat. Dusty then dove down once more and tried to attack with an iron tail; she wanted to see what other reactions she can get.

After getting struck with the Iron Tail, Vanadis was sick of her lowered defense making her take more damage. She swiftly brought out a bell (one may wonder where it was hidden but Vanadis is a show pokemon and such things are easy for her) and gave it a hard ring. Ah yes that was much better. She felt more capable of defending herself now.

Dusty tilted her head at the eevee. Oh well, it's useless to try to lower her opponent's defense now, so she continued her barrage of attacks. Dusty's cheeks started to discharge electricity and an electrifying beam was released.

Vanadis saw the attack coming and unleashed a barrage of stars. Some hit the beam attack and caused a small explosion resulting in a bunch of smoke. The rest however shot through the smoke to go flying at Dusty.

Dusty didn't see the swift attack coming due to the explosion and smoke that was created when some of the stars and charge beam intercepted with each other. Dusty recomposed herself and readied another charge beam.

Vanadis moved so the attack wouldn't hit dead on, instead it got her near her rear legs. She wasn't going to go down without a fight. So she fired more stars at Dusty. She could only hope that the Emolga would start missing due to bad aim or something.

Knocked down Vanadis had a hard time getting back up. She glared at Dusty for a moment. Once more she shot more stars at the Emolga.

Dusty managed to slap some of the stars away with her tail. Once the field was cleared of the swift attack, Dusty swooped down swiftly at the eevee.

Vanadis was knocked out cold with the final Aerial Ace. She crumpled to the ground.
Gormlaith recalled Vanadis. This battle may not have gone smoothly or had resulted in a win, but Gormlaith learned quite a bit about Vanadis. Now she could come up with proper strategies for the Eevee and had things to work on, like that anger. "Thank you for the battle. It was very informative." She said to the other trainer before leaving.
