The young boy was silent though he had expected the woman to ask nicely, to tell him how bad it was for him to steal things. In fact when it was quite the opposite he gave the girl a blank expression before he placed his hands behind his back and gave her a smirk. "I dunno wha'cha talkin 'bout. I don't steal, but I believe you did see one of my radaku." Radaz commented as he then let out a shrill whistle, from around a caravan the large beast came trotting out, the handkerchief still wrapped around its throat, but it didn't seem to have the trinket in its mouth anymore. It stopped by the boy's side appraising Eira's appearance dully before it sat down after being given a hand command by Radaz. "This the radaku you seen?" He inquired tapping a foot before he let out another whistle, and another radaku came out looking almost exactly like the first one, same handkerchief on its neck. It came to stand beside Radaz as well before sitting down. "Or was it this one?" The boy was smirking now, looking rather pleased with himself as he seemed to have trained the beasts himself.

"Hm, you might not but your pet seems to have rather sticky fingers... so to speak." She said, trying to keep her cool even though she wanted to give him a toss out into the snow. When he finally admitted that she had seen his 'radaku' as it seemed the beast was called she perked up a bit, "Good, then tell the thing to give back the..." She trailed off with the boy gave a whistle, calling the beast out and she took a step toward it, "You! I demand that you cough that necklace up!" She snapped at the creature, none too pleased with the way that the stupid thing was just starring at her in such a dull manner. Were Radaku that dumb? She would be more then a little irritated if it turned out the thing was too stupid to give back the necklace, or worse, had swallowed it.
"Eh? I am assuming that it's the one I saw it looks rather... like... what?! You have two of the little con artists?!" She demanded, taking in the manner in which he was smirking it up, "Yes, yes... very funny... This is why I hate children. Cute and innocent my backside, you are all little monsters." Damn it all but she wanted to strangle all three of them but it seemed that she didn't have nearly enough hands to do so, "Look kid, I was trying to be nice, figured I would let you just give the necklace back, let you go back to pillaging the community, but since it seems that we aren't going to place nice perhaps it's time I do what instinct told me to do in the first place. Time to go and toss you in a snow drift." She said, cracking her knuckles in an attempt to look as intimidating as she could, before she started toward him.

The young boy, although young, maybe stretching it he looked as if he was entering his early teens, he didn't seem the least bit worried about Eira or her threats, though he was starting to get a bit nervous as she cracked her knuckles. "Look, okay I have a good thing going here, they let me train the radaku for the show, they don't know about the ....'sticky fingers' as you put it. You put in a good word for me, and perhaps I know of what necklace I may or may not of seen arriving earlier." The boy seemed intent about striking a deal, he didn't want to get thrown out of the troupe that much was obvious. With a gesture the two radaku stood up and turned around trotting back over and around back of a caravan where Radaz was now headed as well. Gesturing to her to follow in a rather hurried manner. "First though you have to promise me that you will do what I ask, hmm? I've been dying to actually be in the show but they won't get me the time of day, but my radaku are really smart and they don't listen too well to the other animal trainers."

Eira stopped cracking her knuckles, a terrible habbit for a woman to indulge in anyway, and crossed her arms under her ample chest as she listened to what the boy was proposing. Put in a good word for him, huh? She gave a humming sound before nodding, "I might be able to do that, provided of course the necklace that you 'may or may not have seen' returns to me. If that doesn't happen then there will be no deal." No reason why she should treat with him after all if he wasn't going to give her the one thing that she wanted most after all. Once she got the necklace back she might very well given Makani a kick in the backside though, making her go through so much for him. Bah!
Eira was quick to follow after Radaz and his pair of thieves as quickly as she could, hoping that this meant that they were going to wherever the necklace had been hidden. She gave a little snort, "That all depends on what it is that you are needing me to do. I will be more likely to help out if I know what I am getting into." She told him, knowing that he might come up with all manner of crazy hoops to try to make her jump through. She would much rather know what she was getting into. He spoke of wanting to get into the show himself, that they wouldn't give him the time of day despite his radaku being so smart, "Might be your age." Nobody wanted little kids in their show or at least pre-prentices.
"Still, if you are the only one those beasts listen to that at least gives you something to barter with when it comes to getting your way as far as the show is concerned. It's rather important to have something useful on your side or else you won't get far." It seemed those beasts were just that for him. Though it would work out better for him if continued to teach them tricks that might impress that Lyriala woman instead of teaching them to steal things... though she supposed if the former didn't work out the latter was a good way to make his way in the world.

The young boy continued to walk until they reached the side of a caravan, then a hand shot out to halt her from advancing any further. Radaz was giving her a mistrustful look as he then tossed a glance around, giving a gesture and a low whistle both radaku went to sit down beside Eira.
"Stay here, I'll go check and see if your necklace is here." The boy stated firmly, "They won't hurt you but they've been instructed to guard and herd. If you try to follow me they will herd you back to this spot. They can get a bit nippy...so I'd just stay where you are." He gave clear instructions, he was a secretive boy, and he didn't want anyone - especially outsiders - to know where his stash might be.
Once he was sure that the lady wasn't going to follow, he disappeared around the corner. Much time would pass, so much it would seem like he had fled. People walking by would give a curious look to Eira and the two radaku, and when it seemed as if she had been tricked Radaz came back looking smug. A chain dangled from his hand, and strange fruit in the other. So he had been up to far more than just retrieving the necklace it seemed.

Eira looked down at the Radaku that were flanking her at the moment, there to make sure that she didn't follow the kid, huh? He probably didn't want just anyone knowing where his stash was she thought to herself. Crossing her arms under her chest she looked at the two beasts, giving a sigh, "Let it be known that if either of you try to n** me I will make sure that you are made into boots." She told them in a matter-of-fact tone of voice. She wasn't going to deal with some circus monsters trying to chew on her she thought to herself before he looked in the direction that the little brat had gone, sighing, "This is boring already." She muttered to herself.
That boredom seemed to be drawn out for a while too, as though the boy had just left her to die of boredom, unable to leave because of his pets and their desire to chew on her. The more time that passed the greater the urge to punt the kid became. This was a good lesson, this why she would never get a pet bigger then Flurry and would never have a child that didn't get discipline beat into his head. If this kid were related to her he'd be on the up and up, her father would never allow for his son to be raised in such a wild manner. A shame the man wasn't here right now, she was sure her father would tell the brat what was what and how a kid his age should behave.
She was still grumbling to herself about kids when the brat finally reappeared, holding both the necklace she was after as well as... fruit? How the hell far did the little demon child go? Did he walk all the way to Sauti while she was waiting here?! Gritting her teeth slightly she said, "You know you aren't trying very hard for the glowing recommendation that you want so bad." She said to him between clenched teeth.

The young boy didn't at all seem surprised that the girl was infuriated with how long he took, to be honest he had half hoped she would have given up by now and tried to escape his two pets. Still he gave a roll of his eyes at her comment and then offered her the fruit that had been so hard for him to acquire.
"I thought you may be hungry, I had to sneak into our special stores to get this you know." Radaz tried to sound put out although he was trying to make peace with the girl with his little white lie. His other hand contained the necklace; he dropped most of the chain out of his hand so that it could sparkle in the sun light.
"Is this your necklace? Its about the newest thing I could spot in the pile." At least that was the most honest he had been. There had been several necklaces there but this one he didn't recognize so it had to be fairly new.

Eira starred at the fruit then lifted and eyebrow, "You went and fetched it for me, huh? Interesting, so you can be decent, huh? That is pretty impressive for a little hellion like you." She said, a compliment for sorts, likely the best one the little brat would get from her given that he was just grating on her. She wasn't a fan of kids, not in the least bit, but presents, that she did like. Taking a step forward toward him she reached out to snag the fruit, "Thanks I guess." She supposed that thanks were in order given that he had gotten the fruit for her. She supposed that he wasn't that awful.
She took a bite from it before looking at the necklace, nodding her head, "Yeah, it's from Sauti, it used to belonged to a woman that lived there before she passed away due to a tragic accident. The one it belongs to now is basically worthless without it." She said, holding her hand out for it, "Give it back and life will become so much better for me again... and I will see about that glowing recommendation you asked for. I will tell the boss how helpful and sweet you were, even introducing me to your little pets and getting me a gift. I am sure that will make you look good, right?"

The young boy looked almost forlorn as the fruit was taken out of his hands, but what was done was done, he couldn't very well go back on his white lie and make her more irritated with him. Naturally he should be handing the necklace over now, since she had confirmed and embellished on its history but some how he couldn't quite believe that she wouldn't just take the necklace and leave.
His hesitation was evident, even as he gestured for his two pets to leave their post and join him he sighed and as if he was giving up his left hand rather than a trinket that wasn't even his in the first place, finally extended the necklace to the young woman.
"Its...really valuable.." He managed to say before looking away from Eira as if giving the trinket back would be easier if he didn't have to look at himself giving it back.
"And I hope you know it won't be easy to convince Lyriala and all I have is your word that you will try..."

"Valuable? Don't know, maybe. All I know is getting this back is gonna make life so much more peaceful." She said, reaching out to snatch it up with her free hand. She looked back and forth between the necklace and the fruit before lifting the latter up, taking hold of it in her teeth. Once she'd secured her snack she set to putting the necklace on. To say that wearing the necklace of someone else's dead mother was weird was an understatement but she would do her best not to let it get to her. She'd be giving it back soon enough after all.
"Mmm." Eira lifted her hand up, taking a bite out of the fruit then lowered it, chewing a moment, swallowed, then said, "Well, I will do my best. You will have to trust my word, not all of us are sneaks, thieves, and liars." She told him, then grinned, she was only two out of three, stealing just wasn't her thing. It was so much better after all when she was just given presents. Eira took another bite out of the fruit before tossing the rest to Radaz, "Well, I am off to find Lyriala, have fun with your pets." She said, turning on her heel and headed off in the direction the woman had gone ages ago. While just heading home was a rather tempting thought she decided that she would at least go and report to the ringmaster that she'd gotten her necklace back. While she wasn't sure if she could actually talk the woman into giving the kid a chance as far as becoming a performer was concerned she could at least give him a recommendation as far as today went.

The woman was harder to find than one would think. The troupe wasn't all that large, not compared to some that had passed many, many years ago, and as Eira walked away the young boy was left to ponder his fate. It seemed everyone was at once gone. But to where? The only souls left about were the guards who were left at their posts. It seemed a familiar face recognized Eira, the young man named Korchuk was still standing guard, his grumpy companion wasn't at his post.
"Did you find what you were looking for?" He inquired casting his eyes about as if making sure no one was about to make a for a surprise attack before moving towards the lovely young woman.
It seemed strange that everyone had just simply gone from the previously busy moments from earlier.

Eira couldn't help but to be a little miffed as she found most of the troupe had somehow disappeared into thin air. She looked from side to side, sighing a bit, "Eesh... how am I supposed to chat with that woman if they are all playing hide and seek all of a sudden." She muttered to herself before she spotted the only one about that she actually knew. It wasn't really saying much, she'd chatted only with four people in the group, but still it was nice seeing someone that she knew given how the caravan had somehow become a ghost town.
Trotting over to Korchuk she smiled up at him, "Yes, Radaz was quite helpful in making sure that I found it." She said, crossing her arms under her chest before she looked from side to side, "I was going to let Lyriala know how much he'd helped me out but it seems as though she'd poofed along with most everyone else." She said to herself, looking from side to side once more. How weird... though she supposed that people likely had better things to do then just stand around waiting for Eira to grace then with her presence, though in an ideal world that was how things should be.
"Is there anyway I might be able to leave her a note? She must be busy and I really need to get back home since I've been away for a while without letting anyone know where I went." She told Korchuk, in fact she'd just run off, something very unlike her since she preferred to leave running to children and men.

The young man gave her a inquisitive look, distracted momentarily as she pushed her breasts up and into better view. There was a moment's pause as it was obvious how distracted he was before he finally coughed and turned his head, a slight flush on his cheeks as if embarrassed to have been caught staring.
"Oh...yeah, well if you wanted to find her I could tell you where to go. Everyone is on a break, typically we all go our separate ways for a couple hours. Into town..or to our caravans to rest. If I know Lyriala she is probably in the big tent still working." Korchuk stated as he pointed to one of the larger tents. "She doesn't know the meaning of rest." A small laugh though it was quiet as if he was fearful it may be heard by the woman whom he was trying to help find.

Eira smiled up at Korchuk as though oblvious to his starring, though it was something that amused her to no end. He was kind of cute, wasn't he? Just made her want to keep him like one might a pet. Not an option though, he already had a job after all she told herself before looking toward the big tent as she was informed as to why it was that everyone seemed to vanish at once, "Ohhh... is that what happened. I was a little curious as to how everyone vanished in such a short amount of time." She murmured to herself. It made a great deal of sense, if they were working hard constantly for this troupe of course they would bolt the moment a break started.
"Alright, I guess I will see about going to the big tent to chat with her. Thank you, Korchuk, you really are such a life saver. I don't know what I would do without you." She told him in a sweet voice, lifting up on her tip toes to kiss him on the cheek, before turning on her heel, heading for the big tent. Alright, time to meet with Lyriala, though truth be told dropping off a note would have been nicer. She had no idea how she was supposed to go about getting this woman to give a little monster like Radaz a job. If it was her would she do it? Hard to say given that she wasn't a fan of kids but he did seem to have talent when it came to those beasts of his. In a troupe like this were entertainment was key maybe he did have potential? It wasn't up to her though, it was up to Lyriala, and unlike with Korchuk she wasn't someone easily mesmerized... which was a shame.
Eira would figure something out though, even if it just meant giving the boy a glowing review before heading home. At least that way her half of the bargain was done and she could get the necklace back to Makani. A voice in her head told her that she could go home now if she wanted to... but she saw no reason not to at least try.

As Eira drew closer to the tent someone could be heard inside. There was no music playing but that made sense if everyone went their separate ways during their breaks. The entrance to the tent was easy enough to find, and upon entering Eira could spot the woman she was looking for. Lyriala was a muscular woman, though by no means ugly and she was practicing a routine for a dance, one that looked very similar to what she had been instructing the duet pair earlier that day.
Of course since she was by herself, she was only doing the male's role, an imaginary partner was her cue, and she hardly slowed when she realized someone was there.
"Either you failed in getting your necklace back, or.." The woman was of course mid stride as she did this, sweeping her leg and arm back to the flow of some music that was in her head. "You decided to take my offer more seriously and join the troupe." Though Lyriala was a hard working woman she could spot raw talent quite easily. The way the girl held herself and acted, she would probably make a fine dancer.
