Borra
The young man expected his sister to make further demands but she seemed content with what she wanted and didn't say anything else. Instead he watched as she suddenly perked up, like a sleeping cat hearing a sudden sound of interest she slunked off the bed and gave him a look that indicated he needed to hide his new precious toy.
It must of been mother, and he had to thank Sin'qua later for her impeccable hearing. Quickly tucking the instrument under his pillow of sorts and making part of his bed better than it was this morning he got up and hurried towards the door to his room.

Sin'qua
She put her hand out to halt him, after all it would be suspicious if they were both in his room being all quiet, so instead she slipped out of his room and padded down and quite quickly intercepted their mother on their way to see what they were up to.
"Hello mom, did you need help with that? I am assuming that is why you came in search of me." The young woman's tone indicated her irritation, she had to play up how she would normally act even if their mother did have a job for them to do, it would be fine she would just get Borra to do it after all.
"Where is your brother? You two have been awfully quiet even if there is a blizzard going on outside."

Borra
Listening as the padding of his sister's soled slippers hit the wood floor he heard his sister's voice pipe up and he realized that she had been giving him more time to hide his lute better. Looking back he realized it was..poorly hidden. A lump under his pillow...and thus he quietly went back and took the lute out and hide it in a much better hiding spot. In fact...it dawned on him that she was also giving him a bit of an advantage...as she wouldn't know where the new hiding spot was.
Alright so she was a bully but...she played fair sometimes. A small smile, he would have to do something nice for her, though what...he wasn't exactly sure yet. Standing up he then moved towards the door of his room poking his head out to see his sister and mom a short distance away chatting.
"Hey mom! What are you doing?" He asked in his normally cheerful tone.

Sin'qua
Looking over her shoulder as Borras spoke up she gave him a raised eyebrow, he must of taken her very subtle hint about hiding the lute better, though he didn't take a lot of time to do it. Well that was his problem if he hid it in a worse spot...or a really obvious spot.
About to speak up their mother interrupted them,
"Well I was looking to see if you two needed something to do during the storm. There are plenty of things still that can be done around the house. Sin'qua why don't you join me making candles? You like being warm right?"
A groan escaped her lips...making candles..? Sure it was warm but it was also terribly boring.

Borra
Giving a quick two step he made his way to his mother and sister, gaining a small chuckle from his mother and just a strange look from Sin'qua.
"I can help Sin'qua mom! Then you can get a good dinner started since I am sure father will be hungry when he gets home." Borra always offered to help, he just wasn't very good at focusing on any one given task. Though when he was doing Sin'qua's chores...he seemed to be able to focus a little better.
Both mother and sister gave him a look as if his offer was crazy...both were probably envision many burns on finger tips.
"What? I'll be careful I promise."

Sin'qua
You had to leave it to Borra to get a jump on taking over her chores as soon as he possibly could. But...candle making? The young woman was lazy but not cruel...he would have third degree burns on his hands if he helped making candles.
But his eager face and his promise to be careful made her almost smile, though their mother was still very unsure about it all.
"Alright...Borra is right mother, you go make dinner...we will make the candles."
And it would be simple as that...she would just need to make sure that she watched him like a hawk to make sure he didn't burn himself.
