“Ah, I am not certain if they will stop looking…but at least you will try to not make it easy for them, ya?” Hel paused as Lattice asked her…how to disappear out from underneath people. Er…well…Hel wasn’t exactly pro at this…and she had started the motions of preparing to disappear, but she hadn’t actually…done it yet. Though, not to look like she was coming up short in the need of a friend, Hel rolled with it. “Well…first, you drop any and all contact with them…!” Good start. “Sometimes some will alter their appearance…and then they will move somewhere else and not let any know who have connections to the force they are trying to escape from!” Seemed legit in Hel’s head.

"Yes...I doubt they will stop looking," she agreed softly. She highly doubted she wanted to go into the clan's premises and tell them that she was now leaving them. Her and her Sister both. Things were talked about carefully but sometimes it was hard to wrap her head around things.
She on a certain level Lattice was capable of deceit but not against her clan, not against those she cared about, but it was time to change a few things about herself and it appeared Hel had some good answers for her.
"I..I see...Not even to tell them that I am leaving the clan? Alter my appearance...?" Lattice paused and stared down at herself. She had no real concept on this thought. "I..I suppose...a hair cut...?"

Hel’s brows furrowed. “Uh…no? I mean, if you tell them…they will know!” She exclaimed. “If they know, they will try to stop you! If you just disappear without telling them that will make it smoother for you!” The reaper then nodded her head. “Ya! A hair cut is a good start!”
A good start.
She then hummed. “Well…I highly doubt you could just change your skin like I did, ha!” Hel got lucky in that department in a weird way. “But…” She eyed Lattice. “…What about these?” She lightly tapped one of the needles embedded in her arms on the side. “Can you get rid of those?”

Lattice was learning a lot from Hel, truly. Quietly she tucked away the advice to share with her twin at a later date. The idea of getting her hair cut shorter was something she was a little hesitant about but she had time to think it over, at least a little bit. The Engraver seemed almost excited but also nervous by all the prospects that were occurring.
Then there came the question about the needles and Lattice sucked in an unneeded breath that was soon released in a soft sigh. "My Needle and I were discussing the removal of them, at least a little bit. We would be willing because it is our ... personal price of freedom. It would just take a lot of force and help, I think...They are firmly embedded..."
The pain would be exquisite, possibly more so than when they were initially put into their arms.
"I...think, like my twin, I would want to keep at least a couple of the needles. Not in my arms but in a box or something like that."

Her needle and…her…? Hel’s brows furrow. She wasn’t talking about one of the things in her arm, was she? Hopefully not…hrm. Maybe that was her…sister? Hopefully.
“Ah…ya…” She stared at the needles in Lattice’s arms again. “I imagine so…but if there is a will, then there is a way!” She nodded her head. “Ah, ya…understandable I suppose…I imagine you could keep them all if you wanted after they were taken out.”

Lattice nodded a bit, "Maybe...You can be one of the few to help us. I still trust you a great deal, Hel. You have been nothing but kind to me, despite our misunderstandings in the past. I still love you dearly," she murmured softly to the ghoul with a small shy downward tilt of her head.
"Other than Petro...You are the first friend I made at school. So, I would be honored if you think you could help us with anything at all be it tools or anything of that nature. That is if my Sister and I go through with it." She wasn't going to make Hel take time out to help them herself unless she volunteered herself to do so. Lattice only knew it would take a while for the needle removal when it did happen.

“…Eh…?” Hel made a face as Lattice spoke, and it was rather clear on the reaper’s face that she was rather taken aback. Maybe it was a good thing Lattice was pretty blind at this moment. Lattice…loved her dearly? Wow…okay…what had she done exactly to deserve that…? Especially since she hadn’t spent any time at all with the ghoul since the Haunted House field trip. Hel was pretty boggled by this.
“Uh…” The ghoul paused for a moment, before she cleared her throat. “Y-ya. Ya. Of course I will help if you and your sister go through with it. Count me in!”

Lattice held no regrets for her heartfelt words. Once she loved someone, she simply didn't stop. It maybe had to do with her species or perhaps it was just her personality in general. A recluse didn't have many people to love but when they did love someone? It was for keeps.
For her it was just a simple thing to be open about.
The unease she caused within Hel was noticed, a small tilt to her head as if to question that unease but she simply moved along with it. There was a quiet giggle, "I suppose 'if' is a weak word of possible intent. It is likely more of a when, I think. I misspoke."
She moved to stand up, "Thank you Hel. You have given me a lot of insight. I feel braver now..."
This is why she loved Hel. The Valkyrie inspired bravery in the more uncertain Engraver. Lucyal GUESS WHO IS A GOOD PALES AND GAVE A TAG. MEEEEE. IT'S MEEEEE.
