Lawr had seen a lot of magic tricks in his time, magicians were a certain breed of con artist he respected. He had never had the knack for it, preferring things he knew, like psychology or at least the kind of psychology that applied to parting people from their money. The pen which became a gun before his eyes most certainly wasn't a magic trick, or was at least of a sort he'd never seen. He froze and put his hands up as if it was a hold up.
"Woah. Magic guns? And I get one?"

"You might. It all depends on what weapon calls to you. We'll be headed that way in a moment. If you follow me, I'll take you to The Cove where you can get your weapon. Then we can show you around and bring you to your room." He doubted that someone who was picked up on a boat had personal items to retrieve meaning that was off their checklist.
Desummoning his weapon and putting the pen back behind his ear, he continued.
After a while, he brought him to a set of stairs that lead down and pointed. "Down there you will find your weapon. Go for the one that calls to you. Once you are done, you can come back here and we'll get your uniform and continue our tour." He gestured for Lawrence to go down.

When Lawr returned he looked shaken to say the least, despite his best efforts to maintain composure unable to ignore the change in his thoughts, the shift in attentiveness that seemed to watch everything he considered or did. The totem was fairly obvious, the watch clearly something he hadn't been wearing when he went down.
"Th..that was certainly something." he said.
