Adrian blinked, shifting as he felt the chill of the dog's nose on his lower back before he looked down, noticing the glass. "Damn.. must have happened when I landed... hopefully that pouch that I had in my pocket survived intact," he said, referring to a leather pouch that held a blend of aloe, lavender, and a few herbs including St. John's Wort, Horse Chestnut, and Feverfew.

Lillian did not like to see people hurt and this was beginning to be more than she could stand with one person. She had to do something for him, even if he didn't really want any more help than she had given. She would help him out, even if she had to take things to where he lived. She did not want to see him suffering more than he already had. It occured to her how this may be taken by anyone that may find out about it or even Adrian; she had found him out stone cold in the alley that she was not even supposed to be using and then took him into her home without him permitting it.
Her eyes went huge and a single tear welled up in the corner of her eye as she thought of how she had basically just kidnapped someone, even if she hadn't intended to do so and was only trying to help him. "I'm going to be in so much trouble..." she mumbled as she led Roxy to the door and shooing her out before closing and locking the door.

Adrian cocked his head. "What are you talking about?" he said in confusion. "I don't see how you can be in trouble for being kind," he said with a shrug. He shifted his hand, then pulled out a small leather pouch as large as his fist, which contained the healing mixture.

Lillian was musing to herself and jumped slightly as she heard Adrian talking to her. She seemed glad that he believed that she'd not get ingot trouble, though that didn't mean that she wasn't going to worry about it. "I suppose you're right, though I should have... well I couldn't have asked you if you wanted me to help you, since you were unconscious and all..." she said as she walked over to her bed. She realized that there was a bit of blood on the bed and she grumbled to herself, knowing that she'd be caught for sure if anyone saw the bloodstains in the bed clothes. 'That's going to be hard to explain...' she thought before asking if there was anything that she may be able to get for Adrian.

Adrian blinked, looking thoughtful. "Well, I can think of two main things at the moment: one is that I'd need a little help dealing with this," he said slowly as he touched the chunk of glass above his hip, "and a hot shower, since its been probably seven or eight years since I had one," he said wryly, well aware that it gave a critical clue as to how long he'd been in that cavern.

Standing by her door, Lillian listened to Adrian as he spoke. She knew that he'd definately need to remove that glass from his hip, though she was not sure that she'd be much help because she may get squeamish at the sight of blood. She was also worried about hurting Adrian and she knew that she'd not forgive herself if she'd hurt him while helping him, even if it wasn't her fault.
"I can help you the best that I can, though I may not be able to do much, since I don't have any medical experience... And I could help sneak you to the bathroom, since you say that you needed a shower. The bathroom has a shower with several settings and the tub is practically a jacuzzi, though you don't have to use that if you don't want to. And I could try passing you off as one of my friends from school, if you'd like, so that you'd not be chased off right away if my father would catch you on the grounds." Lillian rambled and as she did she mentioned something about a mansion, her father being a big corporate man, and a whole lot of money.

Adrian tilted his head. "Don't worry about medical experience; that's what this is for," he said with a slight smile as he shifted the pouch, nodding at her idea about passing him off as a friend from 'school', whatever that was. He looked somewhat thoughtful about her comments about the shower and tub, mildly interested.

Lillian nodded to Adrian as he spoke, somewhat relieved that he had something to do about the medical situation, though she wasn't sure what exactly he had in that pouch. "I guess that you could just use the stuff I brought from before to clean that out? And then I suppose I could help walk you to the bathroom? Plus when you're in there I could talk to my father about you being a frined that's staying over. Though I'm not sure how he may react to you being a guy..." she said as she mused about how exactly her father may react to there being a male 'friend' of Lillian's in the house. Every one that she came up with didn't seem like it would turn out very well, so she stopped herself and looked up at Adrian.

Adrian chuckled, seeing her cautious look before she spoke. "That can't hurt, though this is nothing more than aloe and a few herbs," he said with a faint smile; his adoptive mother, before she'd passed away, had mentioned the recipe for this mixture before the car accident that had killed them and hurt him badly, leaving him with more than a few burn that had become scars. He nodded slightly at her offer, thinking. "That'd be helpful," he said with a faint smile.

It wasn't every day that Lillian brought 'friends' home and she wondered if Adrian would even pass off as one of said friends. She couldn't just let him leave without getting some help, but she couldn't force him to stay. "I could get more things for you to clean that out with. My mother's a registered nurse and there are usually tons of medical supplies lying around that wouldn't be missed since mother likes to be, prepared. I have thought of trying to learn things from my mother, though I get squeamish around too much blood and I can't stand seeing people hurt..." she said as she waited for a reply, while playing with her long blue hair.

Adrian tilted his head. "Hmmm, it can't hurt anything. I don't mind help, though when it comes to traditional medicine... I don't know that much about it," he said as he glanced away, muttering under his breath. "Cheap b*****d was too damned cheap for shots," he muttered, referring to the usual immunizations most children got, which he hadn't.

Lillian smiled at Adrian softly, trying to be friendly as she suggested that she try getting her mother to check him over. She wasn't sure if Adrian would even allow that, but she thought it best if he were checked by someone with actual experience with traditional medicine. She had caught him saying that someone was cheap and she tilted her head, curious as to what was meant. She wanted to really help Adrian out because it was just in her nature to do so, though she was not going to be pushy about it.

Adrian rubbed the back of his neck with one hand nervously. "Um... how would your mother, if she's willing to help... how would she react if she encountered someone who had never had the usual shots growing up?" he said carefully. He suspected that Lillian would realize he was referring to himself.

Lillian noticed Adrian rubbing the back of his neck and she was curious because it looked to her like he was nervous about something. Then as she listened to his words she knew exactly why he might be nervous. "Well... I don't really know to be honest... I guess that she'd probably want to give you anything that you've missed, yet that may take a while and if you can't pay for the stuff father may not let mother treat you... I'll have to talk to him about that...." She said, muttering the last part of her sentence mainly to herself.
She would have gone to get her mother right away, yet she knew that her mother was at the general hospital and was not going to be home until later that night. "I can't actually get my mother to look at you right now... seeing that she's a nurse and all she's working and won't be home until later. And I don't know if you'd be willing to hide out in my room until she gets home. if daddy sees you he may not be as kind as my mother in letting you stay until later..." she said, all while thinking of how to explain having a guy staying over and in her room no less.

Adrian blinked at Lillian's words, cocking his head as he listened. "Honestly, I'm not even that sure what all the immunizations are, but the last ones I remember getting clearly were... I want to think around a year and a half or two years... a photographic memory is rarely as pleasant as some think," he said, sighing the last part. He was willing to wait, though he had a feeling he'd be nervous as time went on. He winced as he felt a flash of pain at his side and realized he'd unconsciously jerked the chunk of glass out of his skin. He pressed his hand hard against the spot where the glass had been, glancing down to see the chunk was a good half inch longer than it had been, telling him the depth of the left over injury.
