The fog grew thinner the farther Evan walked. When he was finally able to make out the shape of the Argus, he made sure to stick a little closer to it. He could have easily gotten lost in the unfamiliar jungle, and that wouldn't have helped either of them.
This time the Argus just seemed to stop for no apparent reason. There was nothing on the ground that something the size of one of the capsules could be hidden under, nor was there any indication that it might be buried somewhere. Evan crouched to get a closer look; only then was he able to see the fine, broken end of what might have been a tripwire at one point. Judging by its loose state, whatever trap it may have once been a trigger for had already been sprung.
"It's definitely not a capsule." The thought that the jungle may be booby-trapped made Evan a little uneasy. There were so many places to hide or bury switches and triggers, and he might not be able to tell if he was near one until it was too late.

If it wasn't a capsule, it was of no use to Sasha - though she found it interesting that there might be other things hidden in the jungle. It didn't surprise her, really, as she was relatively certain that she'd heard someone mention that the jungle was booby-trapped.
However, she was glad that she was not the one in the jungle. The last time she'd been there, she'd been taken by Horsemen - and that wasn't something she wanted to relive.
"Be careful, Mr. Roberts. That jungle has never been a happy place. If you catch sign of any trouble, you'll have to let me know - as I've said, I can only see the blue glow of your weapon and the orange glow of fear-based entities."
Sasha cleared her throat and maneuvered the Argus to the west of their current location. It looked like there was nothing there to see and then she caught the flash of orange of what had to be a capsule.
"Here, Mr. Roberts. I've found another. It looks ...high? Perhaps in a tree?"

"Yes, ma'am," Evan replied, tightening his grip on his weapon. With their success so far, it was too easy to become complacent, to forget that they were still on the island and that every training exercise should be taken as seriously as if they were on an active battlefield.
Evan stopped where Sasha indicated, looking up into the branches of a tree that was taller than the last one he had found a capsule in. He couldn't actually see the capsule this time, nor would he be able to reach any of the branches it might be in.
There was really only one option left. "Keep your eye on the birdie," he muttered as he drew his sword back, took careful aim, and threw it at the branches.
/WHEEEEEEEEHEEEEEHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHEEEEEEEEEE!/ Gir screeched excitedly as he went flying through the air. The blade collided heavily with a low-hanging branch, rattling it enough that the capsule that had been stuck up there fell out of it. Evan dismissed his weapon before it, too, hit the ground, calling it back to his hand as he bent to pick up the capsule.
/That was fun let's do it again!/
No.
/Aw./

Sasha watched Evan's sword fly into what she presumed was the tree that the capsule was lodged in - it was rather beautiful, watching it sail end over end before it collided only to be summoned back to its hunter.
"Perfect! Ahh, I think I see another in a tree, very close to your location, Mr. Roberts. This is wonderful. I truly am excited."
She moved the Argus disc, fighting the urge to giddily laugh. This would be perfect, just perfect. Suddenly there was a pang of hope deep in her chest, something that rose in her throat, threatened to clog her lungs. It was something that felt like hope - hope that everything would be fine, and she would be reunited with Nona.
"Once we collect this final capsule, you are free to return. I can guide you back if you need assistance. I do owe you a favor after this, Mr. Roberts."
Favors were not something that Sasha usually dealt in, but in this instance it felt well-earned.

The last capsule they needed was no farther than the next tree over, fortunately, and caught in a branch low enough that he wouldn't have to repeat his sword-throwing trick, much to his weapon's very vocal disappointment.
Evan could see the capsule stuck precariously between branch and trunk, so close to falling out of its perch that it wouldn't take much to knock it out. He raised his sword up to the branch and used the long tooth at the end to pull it down just a bit. The capsule fell into Evan's outstretched hand with no further prompting, and he dismissed his weapon as he pocketed it.
"Always happy to help, ma'am," Evan said as he followed the Argus out of the jungle and back to base. "I hope this helps you find what you're looking for." Sasha had sounded so excited during the exercise, it would almost be unfair for it to be all for nothing.
