It was slow going -- unfortunately, perhaps. Sisyphus knew the path well, like the back of his head, and knew how to navigate from rooftop to rooftop, this Laoise had hammered into him well. He was still out of shape, though, hopping along, and couldn't talk and run at the same time. "How old are you?" It was a curious sort of question, his eyebrow knitted as they paused in the center of a roof. Sisyphus reached up to adjust his tie. "You look pretty young. I mean...youngish."

Out of shape? So was Chaldene, maybe he should sign up for a gym class in college? Something simple but something which would help him? Then again....this could count as a work out - right? And would just help him get better at things. He really didn't wanna take a gym class; and he'd find some reason not to like he'd just done. Following the other along the roof tops he stopped when he did and stood there for a moment.
Green eyes looking about before that question came. "Me? I'm 18 so I'm young but not like..too young. I mean I'll be starting college this fall." Did he really look that young? How young did he look anyway? "You don't look that old either - so how old are you...and how old do I actually look? I mean I at least look about my age - right? I man I don't look like I'm 15 or something..." Right? He didn't look that young, he hoped. There was nothing wrong with it per say but still. He'd like to at least look his age.

"I don't know." The insecurity was over Sisyphus's head; he blinked, surprised maybe, and tok his hat off to turn it around a finger. Absently, he studied Chaldene, trying to figure out what to say; some detail he could pick up that would clarify, at least -- "I mean. You have the, uh." Two fingers tapped against his mouth, indicating the snakebites, and he flushed because damned if he knew what they were called. "Earrings. You have to be eighteen for those I guess? I don't know, I'm not there yet, start senior year in the fall."

For a moment he watched the other fiddle with his hat, this certainly an interesting conversation, it seemed they were both similar in their social abilities. This similarity made this conversation odd, as neither seemed comfortable and get fiddling with things and stumbling on words, but it was comforting in a way as well. It seemed he was lucky tonight as Sisyphus wasn't some loud or aggressive/assertive personality. And as he realized this he found himself smiling lightly as he relaxed.
"Snakebites..." He stated while touching each of the little silver orbs resting against his skin. Then his finger went to the piercing in his ear. "Industrial...and yeah. They are sort of new." Biting on his bottom lip he smiled. "Oh! Which high school? I don't think I ever saw you at Hillworth...but I could have missed you - or something. I mean I didn't have friends there really. I had a few but...but many."

The piercing terminology went over his head, made Sisyphus blink in an awkward sort of way -- but his high school, at least, he knew something about. His mouth worked, fighting with words for a moment before he spoke. "You. Uh. Wouldn't recognize me.." It came out uncomfortable, like he was embarrassed, apologetic for correcting Chaldene. "We look different, out of uniform, so I'd...I don't know. You could see me holding a picture of me and not...um." A beat. He was rambling. "You know. But you wouldn't have anyway. Because I go to Meadowview."

As the other babbled through an answer he smiled lightly. The other sounded as uncomfortable as he was most of the time. But it made sense what he said. "Ohhh...I guess that's a good thing. And it would explain why people video taped and put onto the news haven't been attacked on city streets while dressed as a civilian." The chaos it could cause if people could recognize them...yeah - he was glad they couldn't.
"Oh! Yeah, I didn't know anyone who went to Meadowview..." Now he felt like there was nothing else to say but he also wanted to continue and get to know the other - someone like himself it seemed. Even if it was only because the other seemed just as socially awkward as he was. "We should continue...ummm if you want me to continue with you..."

"Oh. Hum." He turned to look, tipping his hat again so he could take in their progress -- and, spying his own destination in the distance, was suddenly uncomfortable with the idea of any one else spying his battered home. He took great pains at school to hide his home life, to keep up a public appearance. Maybe he should do the same with other senshi. Sisyphus cleared his throat as he turned back to Chaldene, trying to shrug in a casual sort of way. "Maybe I should. Um. Cut out from here. But we could meet up another time? Hunt around to see if anyone needs help, do a proper...proper patrol." A beat. "I could introduce you to the cat I know, too."

A little put out, he was actually rather comfortable with the other senshi, he hide it well enough and nodded his head. "Sounds good. We could try and meet other senshi also...maybe some sort of network of others like us." He didn't mean senshi, he meant those who were as socially...awkward as they both seemed to be.
"I'd like to meet up with you again, it was nice meeting someone who isn't an eternal." Smiling a sort of soft, light, smile he nodded his head. "I'd like that also. Maybe I can try and hunt down Sheena and you can meet her also."
Ian didn't hid his home from his friends but he certainly hid his homelife and didn't ever invite friends over, he always went to their home. He didn't need any of his friends seeing his father at his worst. So he would have done the same as the other, where positions switched, not that he knew why the other was cutting this travel and talk time short. He also wasn't going to ask.
"Have a safe trip home and have good night."

"Just call me up! Any time." Sisyphus flashed him a wide smile at that, both relieved and please -- it wasn't a bad thing, certainly, that he'd met up with the other young man. He just didn't want to take him home. He raised one hand in an awkward wave and took off in the wrong direction. He'd loop around. He only stumbled once on his way off.
