"No, it is nothing wrong with the food." the elf replies, not wanting her to feel this was in any way her fault, "The past three years have just been so hard for me." The elf fights back the tears coming to his eyes and finishes his fillets in silence.

Wendy Reman goes over to the fridge and, taking out the lemonade container as well as a cup, she pours him a cup. She makes sure to face him to make sure he doesn't suspect anything. She was taught that the customer should always see their food being prepared, to assure them of the safety of the food.
The lemonade container goes back into the fridge and she puts the cup before the elf.
"Enjoy," she smiles.
