"Wait, theres water in the...? Ohhhhh! So thats how you get your water! I wondered, I mean, I guess that makes sense 'cause, you know, the water gets sucked up by the plants and it's gotta go somewhere..." she thought so anyway. She hadn't tried to grow plants, like, ever.

She laughed at Tahigwa's comment.
"Hahaha!" Vanishing act, cool! "Good one!" if there was an award for missing the point, Kaalnia would be the grand prize winner for every year she had been alive. "Well, I don't either! Clearly this is fate!" by mother Aisha this was so cool! "I mean, meeting my sister's kid's best friend randomly in the jungle? That's GOT to be fate!"

"So?" she looked at yaholo and stood up, "So? What should I make for my sister?" She looked back at Tahigwa, "What does she like? your friend, I mean? Does she like presents? I bet she does, everybody does!"

If Tahigwa had four arms, two would be curled around Yaholo while the other two face palmed. This girl just didn't get it! Go away! Scram! Bother someone else with your stupid stories! Leave her and Yaholo alone! What did she have to do, kick her to get her point across!?

"YEAH, FATE, SUUUURE..." She grumbled, gazing up to Yaholo. "You should help her make Ilyra some ear plugs! That would be a GREAT gift for her!"

At this point, Yaholo had decided to stop trying to get Tahigwa to be polite, this girl didn't seem to get any of the insults she was saying anyway. He nodded all the way through her reaction to Tale and tried his best to smile while she commented on how their meeting was decided by fate. Smile and nod, Yaholo, smile and nod. Then when she leaves, you can run like hell.

"Maybe something more child appropriate, Tahi..." He muttered, turning his attention back to Kaalnia. "What about a doll or a toy sword? I had a wooden sword as a child, those are always fun."

Yes. Tahigwa would have to kick Kaalnia to get her point across. Possibly shout at her. She would probably have to spell it out, word by word. With diagrams. That was how dense Kaalnia was.
"I don't know how to make ear plugs!" said Kaalnia, intrigued, "What do ya use? Spongy stamens?" Why would it be a great gift, anyway? Well, Ilyra was her friend! She surely would know! Kids, right?
"A doll?" she was distracted again by Yaholo. "Ooo, I loved my toy sword! I used to chase people around with it! That'd be perfect!"
Hmmm. Toy swords would be great. It'd be a great way to show off for Briella- not because she was attracted to her sister, ******** no. She just wanted her sister to think that she was awesome at everything. Even making toy swords.
"Do you know how to make one?"

Tahigwa buried her face into Yaholo's chest. Okay, she quit, this girl was legally retarded and incapable of comprehending her in any sort of fashion! She prayed to Aisha and beyond that Ilyra knew what the hell she was getting into and ran for the hills as soon as she showed up. To further demonstrate how "done" she was, she curled up against Yaholo and groaned.

"Take me hooome! I'm tiiiirrrreeed!" She whined, lying straight through her teeth.

Yaholo's face went stiff for a moment and eventually returned to a smile. He knew Tahigwa was just messing with him, and she wasn't tired at all. All she wanted to do was get the hell away from this girl, and he wasn't going to be rude about it.

"Uhm..." He mumbled, pondering. He had whittled with a girl called Winta before and learned some skills... Maybe he could show her how?
"Well, you're going to need some wood, of course." He said. "And a carving knife. Plus, it might help to have an actual sword in front of you to copy the shape off of."

Kaalnia frowned, almost pityingly. Awww, the youngling was tired. People tended to get tired around her.
"ooo, okay!" said Kaalnia, making a mental checklist.
Carving knife, wood, actual sword...
Incidentally... She had none of those.
"Wait, so, where should I get those? Aside from the wood, of course!" she asked, looking at Tahigwa for a moment, "Shame ya can't help me yourself, 'cause ya gotta go..."

Tahigwa's eyes peered up out of Yaholo's arms and seemed to glint. Wait... Was she falling for it? Oh, oh, this was good! Yes! She was very sleepy now, she wanted to go to bed! She yawned and snuggled up to Yaholo, hoping to further the "goodbyes" along. Please, please, pleaaaassseee, work!

"I think you can use a normal knife instead of a carving knife," Yaholo replied, glancing down to Tahigwa. Hm, well, she had yawned and was looking more and more tired... He shrugged and patted Tahigwa's dreads. Alright, maybe it was time to head home.

"I'm sorry I can't help you anymore than pointing you in the right direction," He said, shifting his position as if to convey that he wanted to move down the path. "But I hope you find something to make nonetheless! Have fun with it! I'm sure you'll figure it out."

"Oh, 'kay!" said Kaalnia, looking sympathetically at little Tahigwa. Poor kid, right? Couldn't yet handle her awesomeness. Hey, she was exhausting. She knew that!

"Well, I'll just follow that path then!" she said, giving him a grateful not-quite-slam on the shoulder, "Thanks for the help and have a great day, you hear?" she said, moving back to wave goodbye.

Tahigwa's expression turned slightly sly as she felt Yaholo move forward and away from Kaalnia. She tilted her eyes towards the elder girl and batted them tiredly, before extending a hand out to her weakly.

"Bye bye, see you later..." She yawned, for effect. "Have fun with your sister..."

"No problem at all!" Yaholo chirped, cradling Tahigwa in his arms. Wow, it was like Tahigwa to get so tired so suddenly! He cocked an eyebrow towards her as she waved and sighed. Yep, it was all just a ploy to get away from this girl, how mean could his little sister be? He smiled towards Kaalnia and nodded, before walking quickly down the path.

"Have a great time with your family! I hope everything turns out for the best!" He called, waving.

"Thanks!" she called back.
Ahhh, she had to find wood, and figure out how to carve something, and she had to make it good. That was going to be a feat! She was terrible at carving... hahaha.
She turned back and waved bye again for good measure. That had been fun! Men were so hilarious looking! And he seemed like a cool guy!

She started whistling again, and her whistling turned to singing as she tromped cheerfully along. bad as it was, she liked it.
And today was a good enough day to sing.

When she was assured that Kaalnia was far enough away, Tahigwa raised her head and scurried to sit upon Yaholo's shoulders. Now her brother was all hers again and that boring girl was out of their hair! Yaaaay!

"Let's go running!" She exclaimed, before jumping down from Yaholo's shoulders. "Race you home, Yaho!"

"Hey, you were tired just a minute ago!" Yaholo cried, chasing after his younger sister. She was so rude! Sure that girl was a little annoying, but at least she wasn't rude like Tahigwa! He raced forward and scooped her up into his arms again, before taking off down the path. "Got'cha, you little liar!"

And all Yaholo hoped for was that Kaalnia didn't drive her family insane, because he would probably be hearing all about it from Ilyra and Tahigwa later.
