"Yes. Stitches though not without something to help ease the pain and make you more comfortable first of course." Catching onto Buddingtonite's stuttering and arriving at the conclusion that the redhead wasn't a fan of needles, Amethyst tried to preempt him for what he should expect once they reached the hospital to properly tend to his wounds. It was unavoidable with how deep that one gash was and even though it wasn't within his nature to fight with others, he would fight tooth and nail to ensure that the good Captain complied with his treatment lest he ran into complications such as infections later on.
"I know. It sounds like you'll be good without the shot if that's the case since they usually last about 5-10 years. You're right in that you don't usually get tetanus that way but one should never be too careless with these things." Making no mention with regards to the cryptic nature behind some of Buddingtonite's words, Amethyst was about to ask him if he needed assistance in getting to the hospital when the other man suddenly stood up and crossed the room to present the energy orbs and starseeds that he had collected to General Painite herself.
His eyes went wide at the implications of Buddingtonite's words, his head already shaking from side to side as he quickly interjected so as to make it clear that he had nothing to do at all with the rather sizable number of robs and starseeds that the Captain had managed to accrue over the entire evening. "Captain Buddingtonite's being too generous here General. These were all from his lone efforts really." Without any more to add onto what he had just said, he lowered his head slightly out of respect for both the Captain and General, his next words meant for Buddingtonite alone before he finally took his leave. "I'll wait for you outside..."

"Oh, yes... forgot the perks of being friends with a doctor as I get all of the good stuff," Buddingtonite said with a snide grin and a little wink. Amethyst was a smart lad. He knew exactly what he meant by the good stuff, but he felt the need to drive the point home, just in case. One could never be too sure. He was being very truthful when he said he wasn't sure when his last shot was, but he couldn't blame Amethyst for his concern. No way around it- he'd simply have to prepare himself for the return of the dreadful needles. "Just... make sure I get a lollipop after the shot? I'd be eternally grateful."
As smart as Amethyst was, he was also honest, and Buddingtonite nearly choked on the air he was breathing when he confessed the truth about the orbs and starseeds offering. Not only did he feel as if his generosity was spat upon, but Amethyst was basically calling him out in front of Painite. And not ONLY that, but he was quick to just leave him! Buddingtonite wasn't sure what to make of it, but he did his best to keep his brave front forward as he addressed the general now. "What he MEANS is that I delegated the duties so well it was like it was all my lone effort! I'm part of a team, after all... no "I" in team, as that say."
Regardless, he handed her the orbs and starseeds and was eager to be on his way. In the end, what did it matter who collected them, so long as they made their destination! When he turned away to leave, he gripped his wounded arm and tried to hide it from others' view, especially Serpentine as he sent his friend a parting nod and left without a word. When he got to the hospital, he was going to have a serious talk with his little lieutenant... someone needed to rehearse their lines better!baby_gwing I'll get the hospital one started soonish.
